1989 Volvo 740 side mirror glass replacement

How to take apart your side mirror to get the glass and its backing plate off without replacing the whole mirror assembly. Also gains access to clean and lube the pivoting mechanism.

very helpful...everytime i go to the junkyard i remove and buy every mirror that ain't cracked...i also buy the gas cap if its oem ( my wife loses them things a lot) and the fuel door spring...i love my '89 740
