- Be aware there are two types of side mirrors, not interchangeable, mirrors from 200-42005 and up have a different shape and glass

Thank you, struggled with a replacement until I found your video, really helpful.
My 2005 XC70 mirror glass was knocked out and your helpful video showed me how to pop it back into place. Many thanks!
Welcome!
Incredibly helpful, I couldn't find help with an S60 mirror until I found this video!

This also is the same procedure for v70 2001 > 2007 - thank you for the video!
Greetings!
Thanks for making this video - it helped me get the glass remounted back into my 2005 V70 door mirror - I was struggling until I watched your video :)
Welcome Richard!
Excellent ... my wiring hook up and hinges were slightly different (2006 S60 2.5 T AWD) but close enough. Followed directions and ested the glass as instructed, got readings, installed as above and all works perfectly. $20.00 from P&P. Excellent. Thank you.
Good fix! I think the mirrors were changed in 2004 (not compatible with previous years)
Thank you!! Excellent guidance. My mirror had just come loose, and I needed the replacement tips that start at 5:05 min.
Feels good when it's an easy fix. Cheers
Awesome Video! Helped me install the same mirror without any problems. Thank you.
Glad to hear, take care!

Hello! I wonder if you can put 2005 side mirrors on a 2001 model or if the connector is different, Thanks.
Any idea how to disassemble the folding motor because mine really sounds unhealthy when the mirrors fold, I wanna grease the actuator
S40 mirrors work the same way?
Thanks! THANK YOU!!!
Great to hear it worked!
i change the right side glass, but still not heating.. maybe wires ?
You know I saw in the dealership and they sale aside the mirror with heated, and it fit perfectly in my Honda CR-V LX, but I checked my car and it didn’t come with electrical wiring for that, do you know if it will be possible that I can do the electrical wiring and it’ll be work? (Mirror heated that I saw it’s for crv models superior that I got). Thanks
Usually the heated mirror wires are on the same circuit as the rear window defrost and will activate when the rear window is activated. So if you can pass the wires inside the mirror and connect to the rear defrost wiring, it may be possible. Ty
Thank you!!
Welcome
Thanks, great video, However, I changed my rearview mirror today and now my door locks won't lock with my remote any suggestions?
There may be a module inside drivers mirror, related to the car's security system. Try asking on this UK forum www.volvoforums.org.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=19
Here in Sweden we can buy them new from various carparts dealers...cost about 37 Dollars(341:- Swedish crowns) brand new :)
Skruvat?
tack så mycket . thank you very mach شكرا جزيلا
Wait does the battery have to be hooked or charged im confused?
No, I'm measuring the ohms (resistance) so the is not need for the heating element to be powered (in either of the cars shown). You can measure this as well on a mirror that has been removed from the car, just set the multimeter to ohms (200 or 2k scales)
Peppermint Ok thanks ive got a few i need to check then
Here's an Ebay seller, make sure again to get the correct mirror model for your car - there were two different models from 2001-2009
