Depression is a beast. If you have it you understand what Naomi felt. You understand the deep pain just getting out of bed feels like. She got out there with that depression and entertained. She then couldn't leave her home after each appearance or tour. So just leave these two ladies alone. They are in deep sorrow and they deserve the privacy during a very difficult time. Thank you to The Judds. Your music is loved by so many. The wonderful memories you both shared recording those wonderful songs. May those memories comfort and keep you in the upcoming days. Let us not forget the actress Ashley is I've loved her movies as well. I don't want to leave her out. She's equally successful. Larry I'm also sorry for the incredible loss of your wife after so many years.

Severe depression is crippling, so all things considered, that woman was an incredible example of strength. You have no idea what she felt.

What a horrible tragedy! Wynonna and Ashley you are both the strongest women and your mother taught you the right way. I pray for you both and I have been listening to the Greatest Hits and I have always listened to them since I grew up. My mother always loved them and Naomi was funny and their voices were from heaven. Mental illness is real disease and please say something and get help if you need. People love you and want you to be around ❤️

Matt R your very correct mental illness is real I have depression anxiety panic attacks and PTSD sometimes my depression is so bad but I was in so denying about it for a long time but I did eventually went to go and get help and I am still seeing a therapy to this day

Naomi fought long and hard...She survived a hard childhood, single motherhood, poverty, sickness, abuse, etc. She did well in spite of it all..She has my great respect for that...

That took tremendous strength to honor their mother this way.
Naomi's passing has really saddened me, more so than I would have expected. I saw her as a strong woman who overcame adversity and worked hard to provide for her daughters. She appeared to be quite opinionated, as well. I feel for Wynonna and Ashley. So close to one another, a fine mix of love and drama. But always finding their way back to each other, where they belonged. My mom passed away over two decades ago, and I feel her spirit in all I do, especially when interacting with my children. The pain I felt when she died...it shook me to my core. Felt scared, lost and alone. Mama's are such protectors. To have the gone is such an awful feeling. I guess my sympathies for Naomi's girls are strong, having been there. My prayers go out to them, and may their blessed mother rest in eternal peace...
This is so sad, I can’t imagine the profound sadness she was feeling to just let go of life . Please be kind to everyone, we just never know how bad they’re hurting inside.💔😭

Man, I feel for these ladies. I lost my Mother in 1994 unexpectedly and the feeling you have is like a whirlwind. Once the whirlwind stops and you have time to think, that's when the REAL grief will set in. Thankfully they have each other right now and will have each other then, too.

Ashley suffers from Depression too. She has been in treatment facilities that I too have been in for depression. It's a hard disease for people to understand unless you have been through it your self. Doctors still are learning about the brain and have no solid treatments. Prayers for them all

Such a tragedy and yet Wynonna and Ashley stood strong and chose to go and accept this induction for such a great achievement for their Momma and for Wynonna, forever, The Judds.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Wy, Ashley and Larry.
Ricky is right and yes we are all mourning with you sisters. May Naomi be at peace finally and free of what pained her as we all wish to be free from it. A lady always knows when to leave..,,.. snd she was a classy lady inside out……she did not make the induction by choice…. She wanted you to remember her humbly … by her music…. Her passion for exposing the mental illness and disease…:.. her battle with this superficial life….. her daughter was part of her path and destiny….. and she raised 2 beautiful strong daughters…..and overcame poverty …..rape….. hardships of every kind. Some proceeds could go to fight depression.
I heard them end a show w/‘How Great Thou Art’ in A-Capella at the only concert I saw of theirs where I live.
It left the audience in stunned silence for a moment, before a roaring standing ovation.
But their show was over at that point. They did their ovation songs, prior.
I got the feeling it wasn’t planned. Naomi just wanted to give thanks to our Lord on stage.🙌✝❤

I lost my mom 5 years ago. My mom suffered depression, took every pill for it but it didn't help. Suicide. I feel there pain. My Deepest Condolences to her husband and girls.
You can feel the love in the room.
How comforting his words were. Jesus speaking through him.. To all of you who have lost loved ones, this is not the end. You will see them again, that's the promise given us if we give our hearts to Jesus. The hard part is there not being with us while we're alive & on this earth. We miss them so much. My husband died three years ago and I still miss him as if it were yesterday and my heart aches for him, he was my life. God bless & comfort the Judds and the same to all of you who are grieving loved ones. 🙏🌟

I went on a walk yesterday and listened to the first album Why Not Me. A beautiful tribute to the beginning of their legendary career. I knew when I heard the first track so many years ago that I would have music that would give me comfort and joy for the rest of my life. RIP Naomi and much love to Wynonna, Ashley and Naomi's husband.
I love Ashley and Wynonna, both incredibly talented women who have seen such sadness in their lives. Keeping them in my heart. And Ashley is so right, Wynonna is the closest thing to Elvis.

No way was she going to do a tour, however small.
She barely got through this pre-taped, no audience, song!
I’m not void on emotional & mental illness. Both parents suffered, as do sibs & I too, have fought depression.

I’m glad, like my mom, she’s out of her emotional turmoil of too many years. And w/her loving Savior. All suffering ceased. And *replaced w/Joy, Peace & Love **_beyond our wildest_** dreams.* ✝

I’ll never forget the only show I saw them do years ago, after their 2 ovations, Naomi quieted the audience & spoke briefly about how blessed she was & they were to do this. And wanted to honor God who allowed it all.
She looked at Wy & w/a little whisper, she nodded back. They belted out ‘How Great Thou Art’ in A-Capella to a pindrop silent audience, who sat motionless by the end, before wildly Standing in Ovation for several minutes, even as they waved & threw kisses as they left. Not returning.
I don’t think it was planned.
That’s actually the only song I remember from that show. And always will.
If Wynonna can, I believe it would be so powerful to do a Praise/Worship for the 10 shows.
No doubt it would be incredibly uplifting for not only her, but everyone who sees it. As Worship _always_ uplifts.

Depression sucks. .. let me say one thing for those that don’t understand Depression. Or ever fel any sort of depression I have lived with depression.since I was in the 6 th grade I am now in my. 50s depression can be very over whelming At times and you just want the pain To stop. Or go away You try everything. To try and make the pain stop but won’t. Go away. It takes over your thoughts and controls everything. So I totally understand. This breaks my heart. You never know the battles people are fighting on the inside. The entertainment industry is such a hard business. They love you when you are on top, and young and beautiful. But they pick you to pieces when you get older, maybe gain weight, and maybe have lost a bit of that "sparkle" that you had before. It takes courage to get back on stage after years away. I hope this will remind people to BE KIND you don't know how people are feeling on the inside...

As well as grief there is no time limit placed on grief or what people are going through. People are going through so many things....be kind.

So many tears. I am honored to call Wy a friend and this hurts deep. I am worried for her, but something tells me she isn't going to use this to breakdown but breakthrough. Wy and Ashley too are some of the strongest girls, but Wy especially is an absolute she-ro. This will be a rough one, this pain won't go away ever, but I am praying she keeps strong as that is what her Mama would want. You got this Wy, mama is free from all the pain here on earth and you know now she is flying high!
Maybe she’ll do a small worship tour. She could replace the ‘farewell tour’ that was planned in the Fall, w/a moving, _worship_ tour to our Savior, Jesus.

I've never been a big country music fan, but I much prefer classic country over modern. I got choked up when I first saw the news of Naomi's death.

Ashley is still recovering from an accident that almost cost her one of her legs. I am glad that she is well enough to accept this honor for her Mom with Wynonna. One of my earliest memories was my mom playing their cassette in the car driving around town with the windows down. Cannot imagine what they’re going through as well as still showing up and doing this a day after. Incredibly strong women. Rest easy Naomi

I couldn’t believe she was doing it in that fragile state! And worse, that a small, ‘farewell tour’ was being planned for the Fall.
That poor lady could hardly get through a taped performance w/no live audience!
Whoever’s idea that tour was, has to be living in LaLaLand.

I'm not even a country music fan but their mother's passing breaks my heart and it's been on my mind since hearing of Naomi's passing. They seem like such down-to-earth, genuine and kind people. It's so sad that the wonderful and wild ride of Naomi's life had to end in such a way, and just 2 days before being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame along with her girl Wynonna no less. So sad.
May Naomi rest in peace and may Wynonna, Ashley and all of Naomi's family, friends and loved ones find comfort in lovely memories, love from one another and love from all the people they've touched throughout the world. Amen. 🙏❤🙏

Losing your parents are one of the hardest things you'll ever go through but it's the cycle of life you never get over it but in that moment you know your not in control no matter how patient,understanding or close you were to them when the good lord calls them home you physically must let go but the memories stay in your heart I'm still years later accepting this I pray for these women to stay strong

The Judds were the soundtrack to some of my younger years. I attended several of their shows and to saw they were powerful and awe inspiring does not even began to describe them. Mental Illness and the effects are so profound and to think that it can be hid behind a mask is scary. My heart goes out to her daughters.
