I had 15 minutes of Nashville success, and did a record/poster signing sitting across from Joy Lynn at Tower Records in Nashville, and she was every bit as blazing hot in person. I think we met eyes and I wish I had talked to her, lol

I went to high school with Joy. Shot a video of her singing a song she had written and playing guitar in a TV Productions class in 1978. In 1992 I found out she was a rising country star. Never a CW fan, now I realize that those songs were great. Here's to a comeback, Joy White!

The homeless man convicted of killing 1960s soul singer Betty Jane Willis during an attempted rape in 2018 will spend the rest of his life in prison. It took an Orange County jury just an hour to find Rosendo Xo Pec, 28, guilty of one count of first-degree murder with the special circumstance allegation of attempted rape.

Thank you so much for bringing this front & center. This was reported briefly in 2018, amd then updates ceased. Im a huge fan of Spectors music catalog, and Betty is an important fragment of 60's music history. It is very unfortunate for her to have lived her life just to be done that way in the end. Thank you for giving her a voice and putting her name, legacy out there. You are greatly appreciated for doing so. I was going to mention, the wheels of justice are so incredibly slow in the OC. Note the Aiden Leos case - the toddler who was shot on the 55 fwy - still no trial several years later. It also took years to convict Daniel Wozniak for double murder as well...or the Seal Beach shooter as well. Lets hope this criminal is put away for at least 15-20 to life. -Theodore
