Just 2 days after Naomi Judd passed away, I watch her speak at Tammy Wynette's funeral & admire what a down to earth woman she was. My heart is sad for her daughters, Wynonna and Ashley & her husband Larry...praying for them all. 😔💕

Isn’t that ironic the day After she passed I watched her in a movie and I was like OMG I love her and haven’t seen her in so long. Then I googled her and was reading on updates and then literally the next day she passed. It’s like intuition or something. And man did she do A LOT of talking at that TW funeral. She was really reminiscing. That’s how funerals should be. Uplifting.

In her beautiful tribute here Naomi is saying how sad it is that Tammy Wynette didn't make it to age 80 (6:53), and how that shocks her. Naomi, so many of us are feeling that way tonight now that you have passed as well. I imagine one of the first people to greet you in heaven was your dear friend Tammy. God bless you both and all those who knew and loved you.

My heart breaks for both, but Wy is now grieving the loss of her mother & the amazing other half of her powerhouse duo. The magic between them on stage was amazing! I cannot imagine all the emotions she must be flooded with at this time.

Naomi had me in tears talking about her friendship to Tammy
Listening to this brings tears... of sadness.. for the many children that never had the opportunity to be raised up going to church. My Mom and Grandma used to rock kids to sleep singing or humming gospel hymns. We knew the respect and reverence of the church sanctuary. I’m 60 and I still carry that in my heart. Our children really need this... they need to have a place to find peace. Without God... there is no peace.
When my son was no more than 5 he would sit next to me and sing this song on Sunday afternoon for my wife. That was 65 years ago and it still is my favorite song and still brings tears every time I hear or sing it.

This hymn is one of gratitude unto the Holy One of Israel. Only a person who connects daily with HIM can please HIS ears. And no, this was sung as any other in her repertoire.

Amen to that you are so very right. Glad I got to read what you wrote because it is 100% truth and a very beautiful way to describe Our Father in heaven ♥ I hope to share that with others in my life. I wonder if Tammy passing had a little bit to do with Naomi taking her own life. I've been told my whole life that you will not go to heaven if you take your own life but I have to say I just don't believe that anymore. Naomi and her children love God more than life it's self and if she thought for a second she would burn in hell for taking her own life I really don't think she would have done it. The women was in so much pain and had been for most of her life. Of course she had many many good days but I really think almost every day if for only a second or two she always felt her mental illness. God bless @wynonnajudd and @ashleyjudd and I pray that yall can go on in life and know your Mama is in heaven watching over you both and of course your families. I hope yall will have time to check on @larrystrickland everyday and make sure he is doing ok. May God be with you all in Jesus name. Amen!

Wynonna was at St.Jude hospital when my precious little Stella was there. Have a photo of the 2 of them together. We lost her and 8 years before that we lost her older brother there too. Griffin was 6 and little Stella was 3 . The hole in the heart never heals ! Thank you Wynonna, it’s a great photo of you both.

There's nothing good that can be acknowledged or referred to wen we think of cancer, But, if we are able to get through the aweful reminders that seem to be in everything that we see feel hear smell, and try to find comfort in knowing that your babies are in the Lord's arms , as he holds them close , while they are finally able to be the pure and innocent things that seemed to be taken from them before they had the chance to even comprehend the beauty of the world.. god bless u , again

I lost my daddy this month. Five days later, our beloved family dog, left this world to find him. One week later, my mom was hospitalized. My heart breaks over and over again.

Hurricane Wynonna can sure belt a song. I've never heard a voice like hers live. I've been lucky enough to see her and Naomi both and if there was ever one no where in need of autotune Wynonna is it. She was in a concert at Titans Stadium and omg, even that place her big ole voice just bellowed all throughout there
My Momma just died on March 6th. The funeral is April 2nd In Sunnyside Wa.
I so wish I had someone to sing for my Momma but we will have Wynonns CD to play.
My Ma made bisquits in the morning and I would stand there after the sausage was all cooked and make white milk gravy with the drippings all 6 of us peeking in the oven ARE THEY DONE YET MA??? We are starving . Dad would say hey get out of the kitchen. lol He would be sitting there by the wood stove. Sharpening is knife or reading his Quarter Horse Magazine. Now they will be dancing in heaven and worshipping our LORD. Sleep well my Momma I will see you soon, Love you Bammer

Why I am watching these videos today!! It is Mother’s Day. I miss my mom, and I still can’t believe Naomi is no longer with us. I absolutely love this family. Music gets me through my hard times. I love all kinds of music, but there is just nothing like the Country Music family.

I saw Wynonna & Naomi way back when they opened for the Oakridge Boys at our county fair in a small town in Northern California. What a great voice. I knew the Judds were going to be big in Country Music. Sorry for your loss RIP Tammy. You'll be missed. Your music will live on forever. Another Angel called home.

I was a sophomore in high school and the day or the moment I heard about Tammy‘s death I stood up in class and I had a moment of silence for Tammy and my friends thought I was nuts but I love Tammy always have!!
My main memory of Tammy is a concert my mom took me and my brother to. She came out into the audience and noticed my brother (3 or 4 at the time) sound asleep. She picked him up and cradled him while still singing.
The world has a lot of Queens. We have been privileged to know so many. Our country Queens all have a place in our hearts.

I grew up loving Tammy but i have a story about Wynonna Judd. Ever heard of the 1997 movie Selena, played by Jennifer Lopez? Ok the real Selena Quintanilla Perez is who I'm referring to. A few weeks before her death in 1995, the real Selena flew to Nashville to record part of her famous English language album. While there, she decided to cook a authentic mexican meal for the record people. Wynonna Judd showed up, smelled the good food and and asked Selena if she minded cooking for her and her band. Wynonna thought Selena was the cook. Lol. I've heard people make comments about it but Selena was on cloud nine. She was so excited to get to cook for Wynonna Judd. Selena's family told it after her death..

I remember when I saw her in Michigan at the hole down and George Jones sneaked on stage and surprised her they're an sang together what a great dual team such great music,too they both will be missed.
I love WynonnaJudd music. The song mama he crazey,I sung that song alot before around my mother and now husband. She told me when she heard me singing that me and my husband would be married. And we did get married. Everything my mother ever told me I learned was the truth. I struggle with depression probably since I was the teenager I I have hepatitis c I love Naomi's music she always was so pretty. And I love seeing her and her daugher wynonna sing together she seem like a great mom. She will be missed very much get replacing mother's love but God will get you through my mother was my ears friend besides being my mama I can always go to her day or night she would talk to me. Now everybody's done I hardly have anybody left except my two children. And they don't get along well so they don't go around each other I have to see them separate. I just wanted to say I know how it feels to lose a mother God bless the family sisters the daughters the husband all the family I pray this brings you closer than ever. It is strange sometime though you think you would be closer to someone after all this but a lot of times in my case people seem farther from you. But I know now I have Jesus in my heart and he helps me day by day to get through and I know God bless you all stay close and I'll wait till everyone you love them. My heart and thoughts and prayers go out to all the family
