I bought 8 mini succulents today. Wish me luck lol 😅
YAY!! That's so exciting Katie! Good luck with your babies!! 💚😄💚
All The best 👍
I got everything for a fairy garden. Im so stoked
Mine already dead. 😭
I just bought two lol. Dont know what window to put them in though. South facing isnt and option so 🤔
Snake plant hands down is the easiest to grow. I don't know of any other plant that likes to hide in a dark corner and be (almost) forgotten.
I completely agree! It's one of the best plants for almost anywhere and you don't even have to water it often. Really, what more could you ask for? 🌿💚
well snake plants don’t like to hide in dark corners. they thrive in full sun but they are very tolerable

No wonder my succulents keep on dying! Thanks for the tips!
Anytime Katie! I'm so glad I could help!
Hi... yes- it may take some time for the learning curve. You may want to visit my recent post about succulents
Yup, heaps of mine died too. Mainly overwatering, poor soil, succulents too have diff light and water requirements so it is much better to google for each succulent u have, and pest like mine is flying gnats indoor so i just realized i had to buy organic pesticide like neem oil for spray and soil, fly traps etc. Hope these help. Keep on trying
A very useful and excellent guide for growing succulents
Yeah, I just bought a succulent today and hopefully by using your tips I can be able to keep it alive and hopefully proppgate some succulent leaves!!
I've gotta say jade plants are probably the easiest. They're really forgiving with watering, they don't look too ugly if they etiolate and they tend to show clearly what they want.
I agree! I love them for that reason. Such a great plant. 💚😄
This was so helpful thank you. I just bought 5 plants yesterday. I’m obsessed with them already. I’m also new to these things! I have 2 cactus, a snake plant, a calathea vittata, and a lucky bamboo 🥰
That's awesome! Hahaha the obsession will only grow from here, trust me! I'm so glad you found this video helpful! 💚💚💚
Thank you so much!!!😊 I learned a lot!!
Good info, thank you!

Thank you for all the info. I'm new to learning about succulents and this video is very helpful
I just got a succulent plant 2 days ago, and I love it❤. Thank you for your tips, I will definantley use them!😁😁😁
Amazing video Dear! 🌱🌿🌵🪴
I have a collection of succulents and can always brush up on my knowledge on their care. Thanks for the tips!💚
I both liked the video and am a recent subscriber as well. Always enjoy your advice and you give me hope...that I can do this! While succulents may be easy to care for, sometimes we give them too much care in the form of too much water or sunlight. I guess you just have to read what you can about your individual plants and it's needs and go from there. Happy planting!
Great video! I’m a fan 😊
Thank you so much!
Love this will check it out ASAP this will save me a lot of time on a daily basis 🎉 let’s get this moneyyyyyy…..
Great tips!
Thank you so much
Yes let’s hangout more. Thanks!
Awesome! 💚 You're very welcome!
Your tips seems to really help! Thank you
I don't have alot of good sunlight coming in my home. So I threw my succulents outside, where they get 100% direct sunlight, for about 2-3 hours. And then it gets full indirect sunlight. And they seem to really enjoy it!
Now I do have 2 other succulents that get alot of indirect sunlight and yet they seem to enjoy that as well.
Very cool information, I'm in north idaho so I hope I have enough light thru the winter. You're great looking too that makes it even better 😂

Thank you so much!!! See you soon!
Very beautiful❤
Thank you so much!
Thank you this covered a lot. I rescued a large 15 inch round (abandoned) pot full of baby chicks (Echeveria elegans). The pot is completely dry right now and I've learned you should wait for it to dry completely, then soak and drain then wait again for the soil to dry before watering. The plastic pot is falling apart from age.
My question is, I want to transplant the chicks there are about 50 in the pot. Should I water them first or transplant from the dry soil?
I anxiously await your reply. Thank you for the wonderfully informative video.
thanks a lot, newbie here
You are very welcome! And welcome to the awesome and addictive world of succulents! 💚
My 2 succulents are tall and curving around. I was going to repot them together in a terracotta pot. Does this sound ok,? I have small lava rock and soil not sand. They are in small pots now with direct TX evening sun.
Early losses due to overwatering.Plants rotted. All OK now.Easy to see signs of 'Water Stress'' .Use Finger and Water Meter. Every now and Then a spray with a touch of food added.Good Video Thanks
I just bought 3 First time ..Wish me luck😮🙂❤
Any suggestions for open terrarium succulents, as I purchased a beginner terrarium kit and used potting soil. I have no idea what to do and can't find anyone who explains it in a way I understand.
Wow.. rich explanation
Thank you so much! ❤️
Keep it up.. can you make video on basic care of cactus too?

I named my succulent succi too!!!
if i put gravel at the top of my pots will the pups grow through?
I just bought 3 succulents recently and they are very little. Will they ever get bigger? I've never had them before or cacti either.
💚
You are easy on the eyes and informative!
Thanks hope to see and learn more from ya!😊
Thank you very much! I'm glad it was helpful!
So when I water - do I soak all the soil then let it drain? Or just let it "sip" water? Thanks!! (trying not to kill my 1yr old succulent :)
I have one succulent and instructions say put 1oz of water is that something that is recommended thank you 😄
How about pots? Heard that terra cotta is best because it wicks water away from the roots. On a side note looks like that aloe needs to be divided.
I got a succulent for christmas in a little hanging glass ball but it doesn’t have any drainage. i’ve been watering it once a month. what can I do to help it still stay alive without drainage? I really like the glass holder it’s in
You are already doing the right thing. All you need to make sure of is that the soil is completely dried out before you water it. And it sounds like you are doing that, so I would say if it looks happy, you are golden!🌿💚
I like your video, what about if matured leave just fall of, and also slight colour on the leaves. I need to get onto this as a beginner. Thank you.
Thank you! I guess a.mature leaf could fall off for a lot of different reasons. It really depends on the succulent. Some Succulents drop leaves really easily if they are handled. For the color of. The leaves, it depends what color it is. If it's reddish or purplish then it's likely just sun stress, usually nothing to worry about. 💚
@@mindtheleaves9914 Thank you

Darn, I have a jade plant that is doing very well and I'm thinking of repotting. I have this old pot that is bigger but has no drainage hole. Any advice? Is the re-pot really necessary? I only water the jade once per month and it loves this schedule.
Hi Kurt! So the great thing about Jade's is that they can be treated as bonsai plants, so you never actually need to repot into a bigger pot if you don't want to (with bonsais you just take it out of the pot, take the root ball down by removing a portion of the roots and repot it back in its soil. That way the plant is able to keep growing new fresh roots which allows for new top growth.)
You can also keep Jade plants in pots without drainage holes, but it's risky and I don't recommend it. You could always just drill a hole in your new pot if you did want to up the pot size.
It's shocking to me that you only water your Jade once a month , but since I have been doing this, I have realized that plants are amazing and many people treat them in very different ways and still get great results! 💚😄💚🤯

My young pitcher plant
I love pitcher plants. They are really cool!
I recently got an aloe vera today at Safeway and I hope they stay alive 💚🌵🪴
I over watered mine and two dies.. I haven't recovered.. Thank you for this tips
Can I just mist them and not water ?
Thank you Sam, this video was really helpful, I had a few queries regarding the Crassula ovata propogation through stem cutting, can you please share detailed tips on how to propogate, I’ve seen quite a few videos, it doesn’t seem to work, pls help..!
Hi Nitin! I'm glad you liked the video. For root Crassula by stem cuttings, it's pretty simple. You just need to make sure you have at least one node so that new roots can grow out from that area and some leaves so that the plant can still make food. If you are having trouble getting them to root in soil, try leaving the stems in a little water until they start to root. Are you trying with soil or water?
@@mindtheleaves9914 hey Sam, good evening, I’ve been trying it in succulent and cactus mix soil, if you could post a demo video, or if you have already posted one, pls do share the link, thank you again for your help.! Take care..!
@@nitinwadekar2377 I don't currently have a specific video on that. But I hopefully I can make one soon. Thank you for the suggestion.
@@mindtheleaves9914 sure thank you Sam, that will help.!
A good friend of mine who has the greenest of thumbs with succulents (she took 3 plant cuttings to start and within a week had 12! They had happily split into many babies) gave me a really good tip for propagation:
Cover a glass of water with plastic wrap then stab your cutting through the wrap to where it's almost touching the water. The cuttings will sprout roots into the water and you won't have to worry about rotting the plant! Hope it helps😊
