Honestly, if folks want to be technical about the comfort, the seat jackers raise the angle of the front which allows your hip and butt to be more secure in the seat very similar to bucket seats in a car. I practically drove 5000 miles with them in the past month and I must say my back has never felt better on a long drive! Thanks again Chloe for making these awesome reviews!
I just installed a pair of front seat jackers on my 2019 Off-Road this weekend. At first, I thought it felt strange, but after a few days of commuting back and forth from work, I appreciated the leg support. It feels better under your knees and makes your butt sit in the chairs in a more supportive, cradled position. I asked my daughter who is 4' 11" to sit in the passenger side without telling her what I did, and she said she likes it and instantly remarked about the support under her knees. Overall it's a positive mod for the seats. This was a good recommendation. Thanks Chloe!
Just installed on my 21 trd off road driver side, game changer! Had to order another pair for the passenger side! Such a improvement from stock and super easy to install! Highly recommend this product
I've had mine in my 2020 O/R (with power seats) for over 6 months now and they are incredible. I'm about 6'2" and it definitely improves under-leg and thigh support. Doesn't really lift you up higher, and being relatively tall I still have room and even with the sun roof there are no issues.
Have had them on both passenger and driver, absolutely love them, purchased after seeing them on your first video, nothing but good things to say about them. Especially the ability to store things under the seats and cleaning under there is much easier now too.
I love mine. Had them for several months! I have a 20' TRD-S so it has the power seats. I'm 6ft even and most of that is leg length. I wouldn't have it any other way. Even did the front passenger seat as well. Both have them in the front and I used the max lift seat jacker for the rear on the driver side (1inch) . Minor adjustments, but it made driving Riverside to Phoenix and back comfortable for me. These things are worth their weight and you can see and feel how stout they are in their craftsmanship. Built etc in the Las Vegas area, the customer service is on point. I highly recommend this mod and their products hands down.
I just bought my first Tacoma May 23rd 2021. I didn't know there was such a big world of Tacoma's. I've been learning as much as I can about the Tacoma and found your channel yesterday May 29th. And I've been watching many your videos. They are fantastic! A real pleasure to watch. I don't know how you find the time with a full-time job. It IS amazing. And your energy is contagious!!! Keep it up! You're doing US a great service!!!!!!
@@ChloeKuo I plan on getting the front seat jackers but is it necessary to get the rear? I'm 5'8. On long drives my back tend to get sore. The fronts make sense but not sure about the rear.
It’s totally worth it!!! Got both front and back seat jackers!!! Love them I’m 5ft tall yes so I could barely see over my dash 🤷🏻♀️ after I got a great view and fit comfortably!!!
I love this mod! I lifted both seats, including the front and 0.75” on the rear. I also added the molle panels to both seats to mount stuff on. I’m relatively short, so this was perfect for me.
Hi Jim, were you having back pain before you lifted the seats? I was also thinking about lifting the front and rear of the seat. Now that you have had them in your truck for a while, is your opinion still the same? Why did you lift the front and the back? Thanks!
Great review!! I am about to recover the front seats on my daughter’s 2012 Tacoma and I’m definitely gonna install these while I have the seats out. Thank you for your efforts on this video.
Got a set for my 3rd gen. Had them For a few months now and I like them. Did an 8hr road trip from CA to AZ with stops every couple hrs and my back wasn’t totally destroyed so all in all they were worth it for me. My gf didn’t notice them at first but after that trip she saw the benefits. Although Pricey these are high quality CNC pieces of billet metal with high quality hardware to match and made in the USA, not some cast aluminum Crap made in China that will get you killed in a car accident.
I think I'm trying these, one thing I don't like about my truck is the seating position, it feels like a sports car with the seats too close to the floor, which for long trips sucks, they kinda expensive but if they do fix the problem might as well worth it..
It’s hard to believe such a slight change in seat angle makes such a difference. A bigger, much more amazing difference is the KDMax ECU tune. Do a KDMax Tacoma tune review pls.
Make sure you have enough room between your legs and the steering wheel. I have about a little over an inch of space. If I installed this my legs would touch the steering wheel. My wheel is tilted to the highest point.
I bought them and I didn't really like them for my Gen 2. I felt like the steering wheel was too low and close to my knees. It also gave me back issues but I heard good things from other people.
Wow I can't believe I never thought of this mod. I have had a 2016 TRD sport for 2 years now and literally my only complaint is that the seats are uncomfortable on long drives. I was thinking about getting padded seat covers or something but this actually makes a lot more sense to adjust the seat angle. Kind of like the nissan titan "Zero Gravity" seats which is just marketing for a more reclined angle to put less pressure on your legs
Thanks for letting us know about this product. I just got mine and they look awesome and I will be installing soon. I'm looking forward to improving my long distance driving comfort.
Awesome video!! Just ordered using your discount code. Thank you so much for the amazing informative videos and can’t wait to install this game changing mod :)!
I have these and they great and spacers in back. Longer drives make a big difference in comfort. Might do the passenger side. Chloe has some great videos and have done a couple of her mods and no regrets.
I installed them and they helped my legs, but then I started messing with the seat and steering wheel settings around and my body aches each time I drive, so I am still trying to figure out better positions.
boxing?! I had to check for videos of you boxing...I found on this channel. Nice job. Love to see people, not just staying fit, but actually competing.
Would think lifting both the front and back would offset the purpose, so I decided to only do the back of the seat and love it. My wife on the other hand, before I told her, noticed the difference and hated it. Oh well.
They are expensive but thinking of the consequences if I go cheap, these things make the difference. The long drives I had when I had drill weekend (500 miles) round trip, same when I drove from Cali to Texas.
OK Chloe, I just ordered a set of seat jackers. Let’s see if they are worth the hype.. I was thing since i have power seats that they wouldn’t offer much, but it seems that i may have been mistaken.
Another great video I like this product a lot I hope it helps me with my problem I'm 5 11 and I can't get comfortable in my seat so I ordered 2 sets . I'll see if all the reviews & videos are true and do a update later on. Keep up the great videos
Love my seat jackers and MMP!! Only thing that sucks is with the taller seat position (I have front and rear) it’s hard to see traffic lights. I need to duck 😂 fault of the truck and not the seat jackers though

If you only use front jackers when the rears are bolted down do they still sit flat to the floor or do they get bent while bolting down to the floor? Thanks
Ok, Chloe... I decided to get the mod solely on your reviews. Thank you for your videos and honest input! If you’re interested, I’ll let you know what I think after the install? Cheers!
I don't have these yet, but I am going to order them very soon for my wife's Tacoma. I know this is an old video, but can anyone confirm that these are really 7075? The Desert Does it website says they are made of 6061 and it would concern me that the bolts would strip over time

I feel like my steering wheel is already too low on the highest setting. Will the jackers make the steering wheel feel even lower? Also, will this take away from rear seat leg space?
Once again Chloe, another great suggestion! Desert Does It had the Seat Jackers out Amazon quick. Super easy to install. The comfort upgrade makes the cost worthwhile. (2022 Taco, power seats)

I noticed you have your fire extinguisher in the bottom of the driver side, I have the same size extinguisher but keep in on the back, what bracket you use to keep it in place?
My knee hits that panel under the steering wheel some times. Being in a manual truck having my seat more forward then I’m used to in order to push the clutch in. You think it would make it worse if I added the front seat jacked since my knee is raised higher
It most likely would , I had to remove mine because my knees kept hitting the steering column and it made getting in and out of the truck harder because it would pinch my legs under the steering wheel, I'm 5'10 and pretty stalky so i need all the leg room i can get under the steering wheel so these didn't work well for me.
@@madd2278 thanks for reading and commenting on my comment. I wanted to get them to “make my ride more comfy”. Not a huge big deal I don’t get them I could live without it. I’m not even tall it’s more of just being comfortable with my clutch which means being closer
I put a set in my 2013...I like it but it causes the seat to cut the circulation off to my heel of all places. I thing I will add a set of risers to the rear of the seat to help even things out. Anyone else have this issue?
It's a little loud, but not deafening. Combined with the engine on and door open (to connect the hose to the compressor), the air compressor sound kind of gets drowned in
I think it depends on what you are going for. The rear Seat Jackers give a more commanding angle (which I like for off roading and better visibility because I am only 5'5) but the fronts are more for leg comfort. You can do just the front, just the rear, or both!
