Sueciae Rex - Knugen he’s well not to most knowledgeable people, although he’s one of the worst posers and did not many have many impressive wins or runner ups
He had health issues which affected his ability to pose. On top of that, his conditioning was never good. It is a shame because Dillett is one of the most genetically gifted bodybuilders in history. Dude had no real weaknesses.
@@ItsBigDre i can understand him being dehydrated with that much bodymass and still having to flex all of this time, if i did that all my body would sore lol
Marcus Bryan not his waist that is special, but you dint see 6’1 guy having full arms with great muscle bellies and a black guy that has calves comparable to Dorian Yates. Hes special
90's bodybuilders were aliens. The stage was packed with freaky mass monsters like Paul, Kevin, Ronnie and aesthetic gods like Flex and Shawn. Now it's bubble gut vs bubble gut. Zero variety and excitement.
Kruv Mezulari what lmao it’s better to be short than be tall in bodybuilding apart from Arnold every winner was under 6 feet tall it’s clear your new to this sport.
Kruv Mezulari you’re saying their biggest problem is their too short yet my personal favourite Frank Zane was 5’9 and he dominated the late 70s so your point does not stand at all.
Are you watching the same video? Jurassic Paul could NOT control his midsection or hold those poses long enough. It was the biggest thing holding him back.
all the physiques that Paul achieved were lightyears ahead of a narrow small bitch like Phix Heath even if he so called didn't reach his potential. I know you don't know much about bodybuilding, but how much further do you possibly think in your little brain that his physique could have progressed
Politics played a bigger part than discussed; everyone has weakness and Dillet had only a back that wasn’t as bad as claimed-plenty of width which is the first criteria. It was only lack of detail. He had only that one issue, and everyone had that many or more weaknesses. Posing, sure but in a competition to be honest posing doesn’t have to be the biggest issue depending on what the judges are looking for

That crucifix-pose 😎...and that small waist with wonderful abs at 1'37" (although you see even better ones by other bodybuilders at 1'46" and 1'51"). Those shoulders, that front double biceps 💪...and what quads. Ladies and Gentlemen, here you are one of the best bodybuilders ever: Paul Musclesaurus Dillett!!!!! 🔝
Crazy thing this is probably one of the easiest things in all of bodybuilding to fix. Like how did he lose out because he didn’t know how to pose? SMH.
He could have dominated Body Building unmatched only if he could master the art of posing. He had the best genetics of any body builder. The fact that he had such a small waist for a guy of his stature speaks volumes. I firmly believed Dilette and Levrone overestimated their unhuman genetics. They both could have trained harder. Levrone stated he only trained 4 months for Mr Olympia. Yet still he could place in top 3. Imagine if he trained all year long.
Julio Hernandez oh please Dorian didnt deserve 4 of those Sandows he won. After Haneys retirement Body building became a joke. You have a guy winning Olympia with a torn bicep, torn tricep and bloated waist/midsection. Not too mention the advent of the bubble gut ushered in by Coleman. It all became a grotesque and embarassing freakshow even up to this day.
Most of the comments hating on paul’s posing. Guys, you need to appreciate the guy, you need to work hard to achieve the physique he had. He had that wow factor that very few bodybuilders can boast about.
In his day, he had arguably the best aesthetics of any big man out there. Ultra-wide, perfectly shaped shoulders, massive arms, tiny waist, great legs, decent chest. But his back always let him down. It was wide, yes, and pretty thick, but no definition--it always looked sorta mushy. Plus, he couldn't hold his poses very long. He was a freak, though, and a great one...but he could never bring his back up to the level that Yates or Coleman had. That hurt him in the long run, and that was why he never really became truly great.
Paul was probably the greatest of all-time standing relaxed. Not really a weak point on him. Unbeatable from the front and his back was equally as good...but only when relaxed for some reason. When flexing his crucifix was arguable one of the greatest poses even but that back...looked so great relaxed . Now the second he flexed it's like ...WTF happened???
A true monster among men! Paul Dillet was both massive, and had that shape of a V; he was one of the widest bodybuilding men ever. Besides Lee Haney, Nasser El Sonbaty, and Dorian Yates; Paul Dillet is possibly the most massive bodybuilder when bodybuilding deep into the 1990s was still about that v taper; and muscles that still flowed from one area of the body to the next.
He was cramping and running of breath all the time. When he flexed his muscles, he was moments away from fainting, that's why he relaxed so quickly after a pose.
Dillet had one of the most unique physiques in history.
Why does nobody ever talk about Paul Dillett? He was one of the best bodybuilders ever.
Sueciae Rex - Knugen he’s well not to most knowledgeable people, although he’s one of the worst posers and did not many have many impressive wins or runner ups
João Luiz Didn't he come in 4th place at the olympia? And yes his posing is garbage which is weird for a bodybuilder of his caliber
He had health issues which affected his ability to pose. On top of that, his conditioning was never good. It is a shame because Dillett is one of the most genetically gifted bodybuilders in history. Dude had no real weaknesses.
