A bodybuilding journalist friend of mine attended the 93 Arnold and said that there was such an enormous gulf in quality between Flex and the other competitors. The judges were blown away.

If this physique competed in today's Classic Physique Division. He would absolutely smoke everyone. He has no flaws. Taller than breon. Better back detail and arms than cbum. Better legs than george peterson and better overall shape and roundness than Arash.
Willie Gordon ehhhh I dunno about that one. Breon did look sick though. Flex just has so much size on him, a way better back, much better arms and most of all Flex had the best muscle separation of all time hands down. That combined with muscle shape and his structure that makes him the best.

Flex 1993 is the epitome of body building. Yeah Ronnie 98 looked phenomenal as well as in 03 as a true mass mass monster, but 93 Flex is the ideal body.

Flex Wheeler with his nickname title "Sultan of Symmetry" back then. He will still be holding this title even today based on today's line up, no one could touch him on that department.
Watching this in 2019, still in awe! This is how open professional BB should be, not a bunch of out-of-proportioned freaks without razor-shaped definition.
If Flex could have maintained that exact shape for a few Olympias, he damn sure should have won. Put something freaky in another way. Freaky mass vs. freaky aesthetics. Instead of trying to match the mass. Problem was, Flex was in better condition for the early shows, like the Arnold and the Ironman, than he was for the Olympia. However, he was still good enough. A lot of the shit was political.
The most underestimated bodybuilder... His physiques was incredible, no weak points. He should have won the olympia. The harmony between his mass as proportions was perfect. Contemporary competitiions have lack of this kind of competitors.
The muscle quality that has Flex nobody like him... muscle rounded ,proportionated, the back not immense but incredible perfect,you can see all muscle infraspinatus, teres minor and major, romboids and the quality the development on those muscle,k the proportion are crazy its like if a artist has chiseled every muscle, was amazing...nobody like him no body, and at time 1:51 the still imagine on double back bicipts the shoulders rounded and arms amazing .....like a god....
