I have such fond memories of misery business uniting kids in our school who had otherwise never spoke. we all got to bond over them which in turn let kids who were closeted alt music listeners to feel more comfortable showing off their music tastes and for kids who were closeted hip hop fans to openly share their music taste with the new friends they made. everyone was just swapping music and vibing and it was precious and comforting. we were all making mix tapes for each other. sensational.
Your video just popped up for me to watch and I did! I am so glad I did and I just wanted to say that I am a very proud black girl Paramore fan since they dropped their debut. I haven't been able to see them live yet. I hope that changes this tour.

Look up the band Bad Brains, considered to be the pioneers of hardcore punk/punk rock but interestingly, they do not consider their music that genre. black women were pioneers of electric guitar playing we're so used to hearing today, sister rosetta tharpe, beverly guitar watkins, so many more.
