I will relay this story from a friend of mine: He took his mother to an expensive restaurant in New York City for her 70th birthday. As they were being led to their table he spies actor Richard Gere sitting across the room , his mother's favorite. After being seated he excuses himself for the restroom. On his way he scoots by Gere's table asking if he could sign a cocktail napkin for his mum. He has him point her out. My friend tells the actor he can give the autograph to his waiter to deliver, apologized for the intrusion then headed off to the toilets. When he comes out he sees Gere sitting next to his mum with his arm around her laughing an chatting away like old buddies. Gere ordered the house specialty dessert that they all shared. He signed a menu for her personalized and posed with mother for some photos. After about 20 minutes he excused himself back to his party but not before giving his mum a kiss on the cheek. When my friend went to pay Gere had already picked up the check leaving a note for his mom wishing her a happy birthday. I will never listen to a bad word said about Richard Gere.
What about Johnny Depp? He's very down to earth. Visits sick kids in the hospital, dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow. Gladly signs autographs and takes pictures. The list goes on.
I miss Gary Shandling. RIP bro. He really WAS as nice as ppl say. When I worked at a movie theater, he would hang out after screenings when we were closing and just talk to random guests. He made funny jokes and seemed to forget he was famous 😊
Favorite down to earth story: Tom Hanks was filming a movie around here and was going around introducing himself to people, including at the grocery store. He also went to the local high school to talk about being an actor. Oh and at the restaurants, he tipped well. I wasn't living here sadly. Also, when John Belushi was filming the Blues Brothers (which was near my childhood neighborhood) he apparently was going around talking to people, asking if they had food and sleeping on their couch!
Melissa Benoist Wood (Supergirl) is the nicest and sweetest, most down to Earth person who is a celebrity. She genuinely cares about others and supports many causes for people and animals alike!!
I can attest to the Guy Fieri, he came to my home town for that restaurant show and met my sisters while there. They said he was one of the nicest people you'd ever meet.
This video was such a refreshing thing to see. I've met a few of the people on your list. From my experience, I can only say that the rumors are right, and your praise is spot-on.
Tom Holland is the absolute perfect Spider-Man. He has that baby face so he looks like a high schooler. He is so down to earth and all around great guy. I hope they keep Tom Holland on as Spider-Man for many movies to come.
Basically expand that so that it includes most of the cast of the MCU. Key word being most of them. Everyone knows that if you join the MCU in a big role, you're not doing just one movie, so you have to be willing to play nice if you want to keep that role. They also encourage the actors to get involved with charity work if they are not already. Like when two of the Chris' made an unplanned visit in costume to a children's hospital. Disney probably disapproved of the method the actors used to do it, but they would never disapprove of the charity work itself.
I love Hugh Jackman. And yes he is such a nice guy. I remember the meeting between him and the Ehrlich Brothers on the red carpet of Bambi (german filmaward) and the Ehrlich Brothers were wearing Jeans. He steped to them and said "I feel a little overdressed" it was a great and funny moment. Not only for the Ehrlichs.🤗😍
George Clooney will always be #1. I met him more than once at work and he treats EVERYONE with respect and kindness. I once took his photo with a co-worker and by mistake I had the flash setting on HIGH which probably almost blinded him. He smiled, let me adjust the flash setting to low, and asked me to take another pic. That was awesome!

And Shakira, a humble queen
Who else wasn't surprised when Keanu Reeves popped up at 1st?
Anyone else also agrees that other actors need to be on this list or at least on the honorable mentions?
my girlfriend chased him down a manhattan street one time, it was hysterical how he gradually speeded up..until he was hauling ass i almost shat myself
Like arnold, i mean the guy filled in a hole in his neighborhood because he had trouble getting help from the government
Lou diamond Phillips. My sister and her husband meet him twice in Phoenix at the airport. He was so nice and thankful for his career. He even remembered there names the second time they saw him.
Take out Jennifer Lawrence and you have yourself a solid list
And MS 🤮
Why do you want to take her out?
I agree...
@@andrewquint7962 She's said in interviews that she purposefully acts as rude as possible to fans in real life so that they'll leave her alone. She's not very "down to earth" at all.
I thought the same thing.
Cena irl is everything Hogan pretends to be on TV.
Couldn't have said it better
In other words Hogan irl is a jerk?
@@MrGoodman174 pretty much
@@CarlosSilva-eg5pi Shit...
cena is very toxic at wwe backstage, he ruin many wrestlers career
Where is Johnny Depp ?? He's an angel.
A friend of my wife's met Hugh Jackman at a park when he was in Michigan filming Real Steel. She invited him to a party the following day and he came. I've seen a photo of Hugh drinking a beer on their trampoline. He was such a sweetheart.
Hah that's nice...I think these ppl r down to earth already and wud rather hang with regular ppl and not all the rich and elitist ppl who are so far from reality
WHERE’S FLUFFY?! Gabriel Iglesias is one of the nicest people period! Not just celebrities!
Really, a lot of the stories I’ve heard are about him being rude and just not nice at all. But this was at the beginning of his peak so maybe he’s changed with more fame or something
Fluffy Rules!
Jack Black, Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, Jackie Chan, Jim Carrey, and Robin Williams.
I'm glad you included Dave Grohl. He deserves to be on this list.
Sandler deserves to be way higher.
Apart from other Keanu Reeves deserves the most thankful towards his humble , generous and all time kind act to one n masses.
I've heard Aaron Paul is like top ten nicest celebrities. I feel like he's gonna be a Keanu Reeves type
Wasn't Jennifer Lawrence hard to work with in the X-Men movies?
Yea, and she's admitted to being rude to fans. Not sure why she's on here?
They put her but not Ryan Reynolds smh
Didn't she blanket categorize the people in her home state as a bunch of hicks?
Exactly my thoughts
Yeah no kidding
I used to wait tables a while ago. I used to wait on Jeff Goldblum a lot. He's one of the nicest ppl ever. I have nothing but wonderful memories of him during the waiting yrs. of my life.
I know someone who worked with Jeff Goldblum in a film. He said Jeff was wonderful and kind ... a great guy. And Keanu Reeves is great.
I’ve heard just the opposite with Jennifer Lawrence and Will Smith..Most Smith stuff is more how strange he is.But with Lawrence I’ve heard major diva attitudes.Who knows?
I’m not surprised about Adam Sandler Aaron Paul Hugh Jackman and Keanu Reeves
I would add Gary sinise. Through his lieutenant Dan band he's done so much for the men and women in uniform
Can’t believe Ryan Reynolds and Gabriel Iglesias aren’t on this list
damn... i forgot about fluffy. you’re right.... fluffy should be here
How is Johnny Depp not on this list? He's such a nice guy, very down to earth.. great list otherwise..
Omg yes! How did he not make the list? I thought for sure he would be Number 1 or at least be on the list
I was sad seeing no Johnny
Because if he was on the list, Amber Turd will likely sue the list
@@andritr9614 well said 👍
I’ve heard that Johnny is very shy but very down to earth and very nice ❤️
Matt Damon was stuck in Ireland during Covid. Not one person had a bad thing to say about him and said he was a gent. He loved Dublin and Dublin loved him!
John Cena is most wholesome invisible human on the planet
BUT....that whole Tawain us-China apology was embarrassing to witness....
@@jeffbengert2863 damn, you beat me to it. I had mad respect for the guy before that. He still seems like a great guy, but great people don't cowtow to the most oppressive regime on the planet just to make money.
Jennifer Lawrence literally said how dismissive she is to her fans in an interview lol.
so she doesn't like her fans then?
@@Tigersfan1987 whether she does or not you can tell her ego is inflated to the point to where she feels no need to think about others lol. This is coming from someone who still enjoys her work
@@Tigersfan1987 no she doesn't. She admits this in interviews. Her fans are an aggravation to her. She's awful.
I thought she was not nice according to another list
@@Tigersfan1987 nope. Adam Sandler actually gave her some advice on how to deal with fans. She’s actually not nice.
you got it right with Keanu.he is pure...
Met Dave Grohl multiple times and he's easily one of the nicest guys I've met. He'll just joke around with the fans as if they're all just buddies.
Jeff Goldblum came to a fair at a nearby city and a few of my friends ran into him. They said he was super nice and they all got pictures with him.
I will relay this story from a friend of mine:
He took his mother to an expensive restaurant in New York City for her 70th birthday.
Chuck Norris, by all accounts, is very down to earth and easy to work with.
What about Johnny Depp? He's very down to earth. Visits sick kids in the hospital, dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow. Gladly signs autographs and takes pictures. The list goes on.
They probably didnt mention him because of a certain Amber Heard...

Tom hanks has degraded people interview. It shocked me! Use to respect him
Yall missed out on Bill Murray, he's definitely top 10 material for this list
And Robin Williams
Misha Collins
Tom Hiddleston
Johnny Depp
Jared Padalecki
Alternative title: Celebrities other Celebrities could learn quite a lot from.
I’m saddened that Paul Walker wasn’t on this list!! 😞😥
Yeah, Paul Walker wasn't on there but WILL SMITH is? Uh, if you say so...🤨
Dolly Parton is such a giving celeb! You'll have to do a second list!!
I would absolutely start crying and pass out if I ever got to meet Dolly! I love her.
I was thinking she was going to be number one
Not really the same as being down to earth, though... (but I'm sure she is lovely!)
She helped pay for covid vaccine development.
She's so genuine and down to earth. She's helped so many people! I love Dolly!
This is actually a good list
Except for Jennifer Lawrence
Harry styles😢
@@Dizzydawne you meet her?
Melissa Benoist Wood (Supergirl) is the nicest and sweetest, most down to Earth person who is a celebrity. She genuinely cares about others and supports many causes for people and animals alike!!
Common denominator of down to earth celebrities: They come from humble begginnings and earned their fame with hard work.
Its strange that Jennifer Lawrence is allegedly laid back and/or down to earth.
I've always heard/read other actors dont like working with her.
I've heard shes kindof the opposite
I can attest to the Guy Fieri, he came to my home town for that restaurant show and met my sisters while there. They said he was one of the nicest people you'd ever meet.
Guy just screams humble despite his appearance.
I really believe that Emilia Clarke should be on that list. She never stops smilling and she is the kindest person ever
All of her interviews its like she's talking to a friend! She's so sweet and open and caring
Her smile is intoxicating
You forgot Betty White. I met her once in 1987 and she was so nice.
I hope Betty White lives to be 200, she's awesome.
@@marcusrandolph902 Betty White would barely make it to 100.🤩🤩🤩❤❤❤
This video was such a refreshing thing to see. I've met a few of the people on your list. From my experience, I can only say that the rumors are right, and your praise is spot-on.
I’d say Tom Holland and Chris Evans too. Like Tom on FaceTime with that little girl.
Tom is truly Spidey. Tobey isn't thought
Yea did you see that Tom's visit to a children's hospital. It's like he doesn't even care about his popularity.
@@redhood7650 wrong tobey is great
I love Hugh Jackman.
John Cena is probably the #1 Good hearted man in WWE history❤❤
Tom Hiddleston is missing and that is a crime.
and Tom Holland!
They are both missing
George Clooney will always be #1. I met him more than once at work and he treats EVERYONE with respect and kindness. I once took his photo with a co-worker and by mistake I had the flash setting on HIGH which probably almost blinded him. He smiled, let me adjust the flash setting to low, and asked me to take another pic. That was awesome!
