Stupidly, Lea Michele but now that I think about it she plays Rachel Berry and the cast of glee say that she is a lot like the character so I shouldn’t be surprised
If there's one thing we've learned with directors is that they love putting blame on the actors and make them look better by claiming the actors are troublesome.
Jennifer love Hewitt, she caused her tv show client list to be cancelled because she wanted her then husband to be the father of her on screen baby not the other actor. If you haven’t seen the show she sleeps with both men and then realised she’s pregnant. Show ended on such a cliff hanger but was cancelled
When I was 9 years old, I met Chris Farley. His entire entourage was rude and cold. He, on the other hand, jumped up from his seat, shook my hand and was the best. He signed many autographs for us and he spent time with us. Making me feel welcome to be interrupting his dinner. Class act. RIP.
@@KenMasters. yea it was bizarre for sure. They all seemed super sober and super angry that i was there. But not Chris. He was so awesome. He went above and beyond to be kind and welcoming.
Apparently Sylvester Stallone is an absolute nightmare and that was coming from someone who had been in the industry for years. However, on a happy note I know people who worked with Ryan Reynolds have said they have never worked with anyone so nice and down to earth.
My father is a pilot and his friend fly's private jets. Apparently Sylvester Stallone IS the biggest jerk ever. Totally rude, thinks he's perfect, just a little twat.
sylvester stallone argued with directors and screenwriters a lot during filming, and that's why they call him hard to work with. however, as a director and screenwriter himself, stallone requested control over script and direction. so that's not actually making things hard for them, because they had already known that stallone had right to work on script and direction. other than that, people call sylvester stallone mostly as a humble and funny guy
I was an extra on Glee twice. Both of those gigs I was also on set with Lea. She's freaking talented, but so incredibly rude and sometimes cruel. It was never anything loud or overt - but the things she would say (or sometimes not say since she'd blatantly ignore people) to various crew members and extras were so snobby.
Or we live in a age where the actual truth is irrelevant cause it’s either fun or beneficial to join a hate band wagon, it just seems like it would of come from another main character rather than a last season addition. Not saying this is true just that you can’t believe everything you read this day in time.
What horror stories have there been about Paltrow in a working environment? I really don't like her GOOP empire but that's entirely separate from her movie career.
Gwyneth Paltrow - she hasn't had many good movie roles but she sure can't sing! listen to her dreadful cover of Kim Carnes' Bette Davis Eyes (from the Duets soundtrack) - then you will really know pain. She sounds (according to a female friend of mine) as if she's constipated.
I have had the good fortune to meet William Shatner. He was exceptionally nice to my mother. She had just had rotator cuff surgery and she wasn't at her best, but she was star struck. His publicist contacted me afterwards to see how she was doing. When we met him at Fan Expo in Toronto 3 years later, he remembered my mother's name and gave her a hug. Shatner loves his fans.
Loving fans and being a good guy to work with are two very different things. On set, actors have to deal with long hours and sometimes uncomfortable scenes. The way you react to that says a lot about your personality and attitude on things.
I just saw this video of a cast member from the crew on Star Trek. The guy recorded home videos of filming and backstage antics. His voice over claimed that Shatner was great to work with and that the whole cast was like one big family. I don’t think I trust WatchMojo in this instance
Tim Allen's character in Galaxy Quest is literally based on Shatner. The overinflated ego and self-importance was accurate to how he behaved. The part where he overhears people in the bathroom talking about what a loser he is ACTUALLY happened to Shatner.
Kenny Craig Trump is not a rich bullshiter? This also has nothing to do with politics. Just calling out actors that are hard to work with. Even if actors claim they are for the latest “cause” they are still mostly republicans.

I met William Shatner years ago, when I attended a Broadway play with a group. We were from the other end of NY State, and in high school. A few of us politely approached him, before the play started, for his autograph. He was so pleasant, asked where we were from, and told us, he'd started out on Broadway, before doing tv and films. He asked us what we had seen in NYC, what we'd liked, what we hadn't. He laughed when we told him of one of our group, that had ordered a hamburg and fries in a Chinese restaurant, and asked if that guy had embarrassed us. Had he ever-we'd all asked the waiter, what to get, as none of us had ever had REAL Chinese food before. He told us how he'd lived in a horrible tiny apartment, as it was all he could afford when he first came to NYC, and told us of all the really cheap places he'd eaten and shopped while going on auditions. A real class act, we all thought. He seemed very funny, and we all told him, he should do comedies; he said, in the future, he just might. I'm glad he took our advice!
I can attest to the Sean Penn one. I had a run in with him while working in NY. He's one those "don't you know who i am" guys. Apparently when someone is standing next to a door he's abut to walk through, he expects you to drop everything you're doing and open the door for him. When I didn't he attempted to have me fired, my boss promptly told his handler to tell him to get over himself. He then threw a hissy fit and and demanded that the buildings management fire everyone working and replace us with "people who know who's who". Nothing is more funny then to watch an ego maniac have a meltdown. Too bad it was well before smartphones, that would've ended up on FB instantly.
That's hilarious considering I wouldn't have a clue who he is. He could have a name tag and I wouldn't give a damn. I'd sooner drop everything to open the door for Joe from Blues Clues than some random asshole screaming at my manager.
Christian Bale did not deserve to be on the list. That was one incident. He visited the wounded victims of the Dark Knight Rises theater shooting. On the set of American Hustle, when David o'Russell was verbally abusive toward Amy Adams, Christian Bale stepped in and stopped it.
The only reason he defended Amy Adams is because she is another huge star, and there would have been blowback about him not standing up for her. When it’s a little person being screamed down no one gives a shit. The thing with TDKR was a studio backed PR move, and you know it.
@@yandiaz2487 Frankly slackers often find it tough to work with perfectionists or people with high standards. It means fuck all some say so and so are hard to work with. Who's doing the complaining. That would be my question.
Halle Berry should be on this list. When politely asked to smoke elsewhere instead of next to a fire hazard, she responded with "dO yOu KnOw WhO i Am?!" And refused. The funny part is that SHE didn't know who SHE was talking to and ended up with a citation.
Surprised not to see Wesley Snipes on here. If I remember correctly, he lost his mind during the filming of either the 2nd or 3rd Blade movies. I recall the director claiming Snipes would spend most of the day smoking pot in his trailer, and started to act as though he were convinced he was actually a vampire. Pretty sure he even bit someone. He was so difficult to work with that they ended up phoning in a lot of his on-screen appearances in Blade: Trinity, using footage that had already been shot for Blade's reactions and such. That, at least, deserves an honorable mention, imo.
I think it had to do something about him not being satisified with the script and the direction, but was legally bind by a contract. Something like Johnny Depp in 21st street.
I don't know about thinking he was a Vampire, but apparently he did threaten people which caused someone to hire Big Bikers as security(if I remember correctly).
Yeah, but he shouldn't have. Marlon Brando was an asshole, but read some of the stories about Klaus Kinski, that guy was crazy. How about the time on set when he got annoyed at the noise coming out of a tent next to his, so he fired a gun three times into the tent to get them to shut up. Thats next level difficult.
@Zizihazazi Great points, There are many great actors in the business who are terrible people. As a matter of fact it seems like most people on this list are considered some of the best actors. Christan Bale, Edward Norton and Marlon Brando.
You have all these a-holes who belong on the streets and then you got Keanu Reeves who treats fans and film crews like kings. Not many like him I'm afraid.
I don't know what makes them (or anyone) think it's ok to disrespect people. Reeves is a legend. Pretty sure there's a some gems like him. Not many tho, like you said.
She's very sick, they probably excluded her because of that because no matter how difficult a person is, it's truly disrespectful and honestly unfair to add more difficulty to their lives in those moments. She'd also lost her best friend Luke Perry recently so, they probably gave her the benefit of the doubt. She has grown, she's trying. You have to give her credit for at least that.
@@conniethesconnie Why Mel Gibson? I've never heard anything bad about him professionally. Are you saying this based solely off that drunken arrest years ago?
You missed it re Christian Bale. I've worked with him twice and I was on set when he went off on Shane. This was a build up of several weeks. There's a lot more to it, and he's a respectful and generous actor who taught me a lot.
BS Chris, I was on the set when he went off on Shane and you weren’t there that day. You didn’t get there until hours after it happened. You and I both know that.
Kiriakos Kanatsaris you have a great memory, I did call in sick that day but later was feeling better and came in right before the explosion happened. Thank you for confirming my story.
@@the_trash-_-man_9313 Please stop using made up social media words. And why are you defending Lea Michele? She is a terrible human being. And she is also ugly as fuck and has a shrill voice, making her self-delusions all the more perplexing.
I worked as part of the staff in 2017 at Cannes and Venice festival, through a cinema school program which selected some students for the three most important festivals here in Europe. And all I can say is that Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Lawrence, were the worst celebs I had contact with. J Law in Venice was very loud and demanding with everyone around her, when passing by she yelled to a staff member which was indicating the way, “I know the f**** way, ok?”. Nicole in Cannes was very cold , her assistant came to me and asked me if there was a nearby toilet, in which Nicole responded to her assistant “don’t ask him! he knows nothing…”, some of the other staff said she never smiled, said thank you when having catering, or being guided to her seat. On the other hand, I had the pleasure of accompanying a friend of mine which was part of the crew in fuerteventurq for “Eternals”, and Angelina Jolie was extremely sweet and kind with everyone around her: crew, locals, stunts etc.
It really pisses me off when I hear about celebs acting like cunts on set. It's one thing to blow up at paparazzi, but the staff on set are just doing their job. I did actually meet Nicole Kidman and Anthony Hopkins when they were filming The Human Stain in the Berkshires. They were nothing but smiles. Each of them took pictures with us, and signed autographs. Maybe she was just having a bad day back at the festival. Idk. Either way, being a douche is not a something celebs have a monopoly on. I wanted to knock a Door Dash driver's teeth out the other day. HAHAH
I am not surprised in the slightest by Jennifer - she comes off extremely arrogant. I am however, shocked by Nicole. I thought she was classy - she sounds vile.
I hate how we’re meant to love Rachel and despise Quinn at times even though Quinn has many more redeemable moments and much less instances of being straight up cruel than Rachel. She was also so much more relatable, she wasn’t the star. Her talents were ignored, she suffered discrimination, she had hardships, and most importantly she showed that through it all she could still do well in her studies. Rachel was never called out on her behavior, never been the only one put to blame for something, was always given everything, and was so annoying. For a show that was meant to relate to teens more than the other shows, you’d think the main character would have more hardships to experience other than being lightly bullied and Jewish. I also hate how her bullying is treated the same as kurt being threatened in some ways, like what?
@@lemonade507 Yeah I agree. But I also think that people need to give Leah a second chance. She's now a wife and a mother and wouldn't return to work in at least two more years because she needs to take care of her first child. There's no excuse for her terrible attitude but it's also unfair to keep hating her for terrible things that happen about six years ago. All I'm saying is that people like her deserve a second chance.
It's weird how Quinn was written to be the mean girl getting in the way of Finn and Rachel, but Quinn 👏 was 👏 his 👏 girlfriend!👏 If some random ass weirdo girl was blatantly trying to steal your man, wouldn't you be a little bitchy too?
I love Diana, she was in love with Cory and apparently it was mutual. I think she was one of the very few who were by his side when he relapsed the first time. She, Chris and Nia rest in love definitely saved his life that time, and there wasn't anything they could have done the second time, he was in a critical condition at that point, both physically and emotionally. But they tried, at last. Unlike HIS FUCKING FUTURE WIFE LEA.
I can confirm the reports on Lea Michele. On the set of Glee Lea would blow up at the cast and crew. There were times when everyone had to wait hours before they could start filming. Honestly, I don't even know how the show was made at all. She was an absolute nightmare.
A member of the crew told me they wanted to applaud Bale for cussing out that particular DP. The DP has a reputation of being a poison pill on set and making everyone really uncomfortable with his nasty temper towards lower staff members. They said the DP was 100% deserving of the cuss out and that he deserved far more for the awful way he, the DP, treats crew and creates a very negative set to work on. Bale had just had enough of him.
I never knew that . Thanks for the info. And did anyone ever hear Bale bring it up over & over and go on a tear about the guy to anyone who would listen? No he called a radio and station and made his apology public.
Bale isn’t a fair shot. He apologized profusely about that. I’ve heard him on interviews where people asked him about it and he flat out laughed and said, “I was such an asshole. I don’t know what I was thinking that I had the right to talk to someone like that.” And made no excuse for himself. I was a Bale hater until I heard that. His reply was quite impressive ~ admitting he was wrong and out of line.
I agree. I heard him apologizing and he seemed genuine. I was impressed by how he emphasized his own wrongdoing and how badly he made someone else feel. He owned it and owned up to it.
True story: Bruce Willis walked into a bakery in South Jersey on Christmas Eve and demanded rolls. (Best roll in South Jersey, by the way.) Baker told him that he needed to get in line. Bruce Willis goes: Do you know who I am?! Baker: Yes...but you STILL have to get in line. This was during Moonlighting, pre-Die Hard. So he wasn't even all that famous yet.
While boarding an airplane in Denver, I tripped and dropped everything I was carrying. Sprawling in the aisle of first class. Sean Penn helped me up and helped me gather my things. He was a perfect gentleman and a pleasure to have met. And that's the way it was...
Good for you, you're in the minority. I met him and he was easily the most arrogant and insufferably rude c0cksucker I think I've ever met. He treated everyone around him like peasants who existed to cater to him.
Ironic that William Shatner and Edward Norton were next to each other on this list since on “Fight Club” Edward’s character said if he could fight one celebrity, it would be Shatner. 😂
I have first hand confirmation about Val Kilmer's attitude... One of the customers at the dry cleaners my mother used to work at was a character actor who played the doctor in "Tombstone" that tries to save Morgan Earp's life. When I met him, I asked about the various actors on the film and what they were like. He had good things to say about Kurt Russell, Sam Elliot, and Bill Paxton. But when it came to Kilmer, he basically confirmed much of what is said in the video about him being and overly rude jerk.
That is not "first-hand" confirmation however. _First-hand_ would mean you have worked with him. Hearing it from someone else is called "hearsay". And hearing it from your mom who has heard it from someone (lol) makes it a fairy tale. The story is probably correct ... most Hollywood weenies are assholes ... but for sure it is not "first-hand".
@@lennychorn147 Well he's gone now. Funny thing about when you first die, you usually have a life review. Atheist Bill Ayers died and was brought back said he had one with someone he called the Superintendent of the Universe. He swore up and down it was real, but he refused to call the Being God and reported feeling profusely uncomfortable. I'd imagine if Paxton treated people terrible he had a profusely uncomfortable experience too.
The chick from Glee wasn’t the only one who was rude from that cast. They all were conceited and rude. My friends and I worked Valet right next to them at Paramount which is were they filmed most of the show, and everytime we would say hi, or try striking a conversation or anything with any of them, they would look at us with disgust. The ONLY one person who to this day spoke to us kindly and whom I still admire for that is Ms. Jane Lynch. But that’s it
I think it would be entertaining for a while then get annoying AF and everyone would be so hated after an episode or two that people wouldn't care who won anymore and would quit watching. Some might tune in a couple of more episodes just to see if any of them caught something or got eaten by a wild animal.
Chevy was an asshole but Dan Harmon only fought fire with more fire. While the rest of the cast were simply irritated Dan was especially hostile towards Chevy. So in this case I think it was more of a clash as opposed to just one guy being intolerable (also I think Dan purposely humiliated him on set)
Yeah Charlie Sheen, (born Carlos Irwin Estevez), is a timeless and unapologetic Alcoholic/Addict, that's why he was so successful in "Two and a Half Men" as Charlie Harper cause he was technically playing himself. His self destructive behavior had him boot out of the show but the show just went down after he left.
How can you not mention Bill Murray? I mean his status as difficult to work with is legendary. It started back in Caddyshack. (They literally had to spend a whole day to convince him to do a scene with Chevy Chase-talk about a tense day on the set) But it followed him through his whole career. You could make a list of people who claimed this. Harold Ramos and Murray had a life long friendship that ended because of Groundhog Day. Richard Donner said he was creative but very difficult on ScroogeD. Richard Dreyfuss essentially said he was a drunken bully on What about Bob? Lucy Liu - Charlie’s angels. Said he liked to pick arguments with her using explicit language Anjelica Houston - the life aquatic with Steve Zissou And there were a bunch of others left out.
I'm surprised Julia Roberts didn't even feature in dishonourable mentions. She was nicknamed Tinkerhell back when she was filming Hook. She caused loads of problems and they all ended up hating her. Kindest Regards ER
Heard all kinds of stories about her. Even Julianna Margulies back when she was waitressing said that Roberts was downright awful and rude to wait staff.
Julia Roberts is not a nice person. She's the type, if look at her she'll have you fired. She also stole her now husband from his x-wife. Julia would wear t-shirts with nasty comments about her. You have to be a real bitch to pull that kind of stuff.
My aunt worked on Runaway Bride and said Julia was a total bitch, very much a diva. She kept having the makeup lady redo her makeup to her liking and everything.
It’s ironic how pretentious and demanding actors are when there are so many people involved in making movies and shows who put more work into getting projects done
Dale Henderson the crew is what makes the actors’ performance possible. Can’t have a good performance if the script and direction isn’t there. Actors are only there to act. They aren’t working on the movie for years like others in the crew
I hate how these people ( like most people anyways ) try to act like " liberals " and try to seem open-minded in front of media and public and yet are themselves some of the most corrupt and make some of the most bigoted , narrow minded , and toxic statements to political affiliations that do not necessarily agree with liberal ideals . And even in private , these so-called " liberals " are caught many a times making sexist , homophobic , racist comments or are accused of violence or sexual harassment . Coming from someone who believes in liberal ideals and strongly supports representation , most liberals are nothing more than just opportunistic hypocrites who use representation as a marketing gimmick to gain money and don't care about representation itself . Why do you think so many Hollywood producers ( who earlier used to be massively sexist ) have started to talk vocally about women empowerment and started to put out so films revolving around female characters ( most of which aren't good films and just use women empowerment as a marketing gimmick and don't care about the quality of the film itself ) ? Because of the success of Wonder Woman and a few other female-led films that came in 2017 and trying to cash in on the MeToo movement , these producers have realized that female-led films can get them massive amounts of money and so just overnight ( exaggeration ) have completely turned over their views on inclusivity and representation . Because they had a sudden change of heart ? No. Because they want money . And the sad thing is - most of the films these Hollywood producers make are some of the laziest filmmaking and are just gimmicks trying to pander to the audience . Worst part is that they know all this but also know most audiences will not try to be critical or hate the film because they don't want to be labelled as misogynistic and sexists by the pseudo-liberals and so just lap all the movies up .
That's what I thought too, even though I really like Shannen it's well documented that she's hard to work with; the feud on Charmed that got her fired and her feud with Tori Spelling that Tori's father had to fire her from the show 90210 because Shannen didn't get along with his daughter Tori.
As I said, she's very sick now and had lost a good friend recently. She is trying to change, I think she deserves the benefit of the doubt, at least at this point in her life.
Don't know much about him but it would have to be bad to beat Brando. How can you go from one of the best actors ever in Hollywood and someone who can't get work? One of his last roles was to play a spoof of his godfather character and he messed that up with the entire cast and crew regretting working with him. In Apocalypse Now he was so horrible they reduced his role to only a few minutes usually with him in the dark or just using his face. In Last Tango in Paris he improvised a scene where he simulated having anal sex with his costar. He refused to let her know about his intention so the director could get her raw emotion as he ripped off her clothes and threw her on the ground. It's going to take someone special to upstage Brando.
@@conniethesconnie Just saying that Klaus Kinski was so ridiculously short tempered on set of Fitzcerraldo that the natives on the island offered to kill him.
6:32 Calling Klaus Kinski simply "difficult" would be an understatement. Even if we disregard his disturbing personal life, his equation with the legendary filmmaker Werner Herzog is enough to make him one of the most unhinged actors of all time. During "Aguirre: the Wrath of God" an irate Kinski fired a gun at some extras blowing off an extra's finger. Herzog pulled a gun on Kinski, threatened to kill him and then commit suicide when Kinski wanted to walk out of the movie. Kinski allegedly tried to return the favor. The locals had offered to murder Kinski for Herzog. He rejected their offer, but admitted being tempted to accept it. They did five movies together and apparently admired each other. Lord knows how Kinski behaved with people he actually hated!
There's an impressionist here in Germany named Max Giermann. One of his go-to impressions that gets the crowd going crazy EVERY TIME is his Klaus Kinski. And it's SO spooky, you can just SEE the moment when Max steps back and Klaus just takes over! 😳 It almost looks like demonic possession. 🤣🤣🤣 It is SO FUNNY as well as uncanny. Of course, Klaus Kinski would say that he is personally responsible for Max's career boost, but I think most would agree that Max is responsible for bringing Klaus back out of obscurity. 😉 There are UA-cam Videos, if you haven't seen them. 😁
I was looking for this comment. Also, calling him not a household name... he was an actual monster but he is a legend in the history of cinema, as is Herzog.
Russell Crowe. That shocked me. I met him about 20 years ago. My best friend was an extra in Cinderella Man. He was a reporter who shouted one question. He took us all out for drinks one day. Was great
A friend of mine had a dance studio that was rented out for rehearsal when Mike Myers was shooting the Love Guru. Part of the deal was that a new washroom was built JUST for Myers, because he didn't want to use a restroom that someone else had used. The worst part is that Myers never ended up attending any of the rehearsals at the studio!
I made food for Sean Penn twice while he produced Into the Wild starring Emile Hirsh and stayed at the hotel I worked at. He was rude AF and didnt even tip.
I waited on Eva Longoria once, and she was an absolute nightmare as well. Refused to look at me, demanded we create something off menu for her, demanded that I have an extra server to “stand guard” at her table to make sure people left her alone (even though the restaurant was mostly empty and not one person attempted to approach her the whole time she was there, and that poor server made nothing the whole time) then tipped absolutely nothing on her huge bill.
I heard that Lohan supposedly, as a young actress, intimidated other girls to get "the parent trap" role or something like that, but it's just a rumor....
Haru Sohma did you hear all the things Lea did? Apparently she used to call background actors “cockroaches”, threatens to fire people even though she wasn’t in charge. And threatened to shit in someone’s wig. She also has complaints against her from people that worked with her on Broadway.
Fun fact: my dad handled insurance for Hollywood celebrities for a time, and he informed me he had to deal with an incident in which Bruce Willis tried to fire a crew member from the set because he/she did not address Bruce as "Mr./Dr. White", which he apparently always demanded in order to calm his nerves.
I met someone who worked on a set with Brando. Apparently if you were a director or producer he was a pain in the ass. If you were a random crew member he was great. He would occasionally ask the crew if they would like the day off. They would awkwardly say that would be nice. Then he would say felt "a cold coming on 😉" so they wouldn't be able to shoot. Then he would buy them all pizza and beer.
I work in the film industry and honestly I’ve had nothing but great things to say about everyone. I’ve worked on Jurassic World to the new Bill and Ted. I also haven’t talked to everyone of them personally. But we all talk about certain sets and how much it sucks compared to other directors sets. Kevin Smith being that absolute best set ever by far!!!!!
You guys should do an early Hollywood actor list like this. Maybe split between silent era actors and early talkies, quite a few can be said about Bela Lugosi for an example.
Well when you go around stabbing people well saying only yah baby yah then that's what you get actually even worse oh no wait that's a different Mike Michael Myers 😆😄
What was done to actress Maria Schneider during the filming of Last Tango in Paris should surely have been mentioned - or at least alluded to - in your entry for Brando.
I worked with hundreds of AAA stars over a period of 15 years in Hollywood on over 200 films and over 200 TV shows as well as commercials and music video . . . By far, the worst male actor I worked with was Robert DeNiro (I worked with him for 6 straight weeks) and by far and away, the worst female actor I worked with was Whoopi Goldberg. (Who I worked with on 2 films). You don’t always see the person behind the character they are taking on in a production.
I have no trouble believing that at all. They're insufferable in the public spotlight as is. I couldn't imagine having to share a room with either of those degenerates.
All the people working with Brando should be given the credit as they made his madness work and made him shine. If you ever watch the making of of Apocalypse Now you understand what everybody around him had to deal with.
In my opinion, Jennifer Lopez lost all right to say she's still 'Jenny from the block' the second she started calling herself something as pretentious as J-Lo.
To be fair to JLo, has anyone ever heard her call herself "JLo"? I'm pretty sure that was a tabloid nickname that just caught on. I've listened to commentaries on movies she's been on and other actors/directors who've worked with her call her "Jen" or occasionally "Jennifer". I think she probably calls herself/introduces herself as Jennifer.
Most of her international fame comes from her performance in Selena, which was great, but then her music career took off and then she became super famous
I seriously do not think she's that great of an actress. There are so many wonderful actresses out there like Samantha Morton and Michelle Williams. Those girls have something that, to me, JL does not.
Kinski should be higher. his outburst during Fitzcarraldo is legendary. They were in the djungle and went full rant with real natives on the location. the natives actually asked the director Herzog if they should kill Kinski for him
As far as I'm concerned she only had one winner her whole career and that was Selena, but it was honestly one of those roles that the actor just happened to be perfect for a part no one else could play. Like Jamie Foxx in Ray or Phoenix (I'm not 100% on that name) in Walk.
She travels with an enterouge of 20 or more, including FOUR hairdressers. I've flown her. She's a nightmare. As is Oprah. She thought the ground crews should do her laundry AND clean her silverware. That's NOWHERE in a fuelers job description.

Bale was doing a scene and the Cinematographer kept changing settings mid scene. He's known as a jackass in the industry, so Bale snapped at him. The rest of the crew calls it karma.
Is it bad I want a show filmed with all of them as the main and only actors/actresses? Just to see how it would go if they had to create a show together.
My friend who performs improv at Second City in Chicago told me about a time where Mike Myers was a guest in their improv show, and the improv team was having the audience laughing hard all night and the show went great, which made Mike Myers pissed because he wasn't the one getting all the focus, and he screamed at the improv cast (the ones that invited him) for not letting him essentially run the show. Verbatim, he said "when you have Wayne Gretsky on your team, you give him the f*icking puck." And it's not like he didn't get to perform, he was just mad that he had to share.

And it's SO spooky, you can just SEE the moment when Max steps back and Klaus just takes over! 😳 It almost looks like real demonic possession. 🤣🤣🤣 It is SO FUNNY as well as accurate. Of course, Klaus Kinski would say that he is personally responsible for Max's career boost, but I think most would agree that Max is responsible for bringing Klaus back out of obscurity. 😉
@@erik4382 So what I am understanding from you is to ignore the horrible things people have done, and insult people when they do address them ? Absolutely spectacular way of thinking.
Most actors and well known people are like this sadly. I've met a few in various workplaces where I was working security and out of the 5 I've met only one person actually treated me like a fellow Human being, that was Michael Palin. The rest looked down on me, treated me like I was nothing. There's nothing worse than saying hi to someone and getting blanked by them. It's funny how they expected me to care about their security after that. I honestly would have stood by and done nothing to help those stuck up people despite it being my job but for Michael Palin I would have done anything for him even if it wasn't my job because he is such a wonderful person.
I always heard very complimentary things about Palin, and also Martin Short. Paul McCartney too, and he's a guy who's been in the spotlight for 60 years.
i mean if someone had a camera on wherever they went eventually you would find an outburst of a bad day, but some of these just seem self entitled on and off the screen and mostly why you don't see any of them much anymore
How about a “Top 10/20 actors that are a joy to work with”. I’m sure Johnny Depp, Keanu Reeves,Lenard Nemoy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Drew Berrymore, these guys just seem so humble to me.
I got to work with Sean Penn on "Into the Wild" which he directed. He is one director I'd work with again in a minute. A great director and made himself a part of the crew to the point of helping schlep equipment
The first interview I ever saw with her was on Jimmy Kimmel I think and she talked about her then 9 year old son, she preceded a story about him enjoying playing dress up in women's clothes with: "I don't know if that means that he's gay, and if he is that's totally fine, but..." That was the moment I fell in love with her. To quote Charlie from perks of being a wallflower - we accept the love we think we deserve. And if your mom teaches you to believe you deserve all the love in the world for being who you are and not despite of it your life would be a life worth living, and that's rare. I know for (almost) a fact that my 11 year old sweet, GENIUS, kind, deep, gentle, spiritual cousin is gay and I would be certain until he comes and tell me himself, but it is very clear in his case though in most cases you can't know really, and I'm genuinely scared of the day his parents find out. His 13 year old just as extraordinary brother will accept him in a heartbeat because he's autistic and is not capable of judging, but their mom and dad are a completely different story. So yeah I love Idina. And she's beautiful in my opinion, by the way.
I know someone who had to work with Val Kilmer, the camera crew was ready to film and Kilmer showed up in his limo and hoped out, said he didn't feel like acting that day and got back in his limo and went back to his hotel.
James Garner said in his biography that he had to pull Bruce Willis aside during a film shoot to reprimand him for adlibbing his lines. I think Garner told him something like, "You can't write better than Blake Edwards!"
People forget that there was looooooooong time Mel was considered one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. I think somewhere along the way he got a frontal lobe injury.
It is common knowledge that back when Steven Segal was still making movies, Segal would purposefully and intentionally injure stuntmen who were correctly Choreographing their fight scenes and not hitting the actor and Segal would not pull his punches saying it made the scene look more authentic, causing broken bones and ribs to the stuntmen.

I read somewhere that when Joan Crawford's husband died (who was on the board of directors for Pepsi-Cola) Betty Davis made sure the Pepsi machine got carted out and replaced with a Coca-Cola machine in the studio where they were both working-in full view of Crawford. It might have been the other way around with the brands, but it showed how brutal Davis could be. You didn't mess with those famous, cold eyes.
Yes, Joan's husband was Pepsi-Cola chairman and CEO Alfred Steele. They were only married four years before he died and she refused to leave the Pepsi board.
I was on Community season 1 regularly back in the day, and I can definitely confirm about Chevy Chase. First, yes, he is as tall as a tree. Second, we would definitely hear him arguing with Dan Harmon couple times a week. I can tell one incident filming the halloween episode he was wearing his beastmaster costume and all day he would complain as the third person like "beastmaster thinks this stink like poo"
One story that went around was he got the original director of National Lampoon's Christmas Vaction fired just because he didn't like him. I also noticed on the DVD for the film they had all the cast back for the film for the commentary apart from Chevy Chase.
"William Shatners fourth wedding" hahah ive heard so many bad things about Shatner, Im surprised he has any fans at all, some people must like being shat on I guess.

Stupidly, Lea Michele but now that I think about it she plays Rachel Berry and the cast of glee say that she is a lot like the character so I shouldn’t be surprised
Nice 👌
If there's one thing we've learned with directors is that they love putting blame on the actors and make them look better by claiming the actors are troublesome.
Kyero Though there are legitimately some actors who it’s well know throughout the industry are just not good to work with.
Jennifer love Hewitt, she caused her tv show client list to be cancelled because she wanted her then husband to be the father of her on screen baby not the other actor. Richard Gere is a nightmare to work with
My father is a pilot and his friend fly's private jets.

When an entire tv show cast turns against you (lea Michelle) you know you’ve turned into quite the rotten egg.
She thinks she's more famous then she is. I don't know why I've never seen her in anything besides tv?
Jared Leto though wasn't a surprise to me, bad acting and attitude
I was an extra on Glee twice. Both of those gigs I was also on set with Lea. She's freaking talented, but so incredibly rude and sometimes cruel. It was never anything loud or overt - but the things she would say (or sometimes not say since she'd blatantly ignore people) to various crew members and extras were so snobby.
When you have talent you need to be humble. A superior attitude is a career destroyer.
Or we live in a age where the actual truth is irrelevant cause it’s either fun or beneficial to join a hate band wagon, it just seems like it would of come from another main character rather than a last season addition. Not saying this is true just that you can’t believe everything you read this day in time.
Someone must be a fan of Gwenyth Paltrow to have omitted her from this list
What horror stories have there been about Paltrow in a working environment? I really don't like her GOOP empire but that's entirely separate from her movie career.
Gwyneth Paltrow - she hasn't had many good movie roles but she sure can't sing! listen to her dreadful cover of Kim Carnes' Bette Davis Eyes (from the Duets soundtrack) - then you will really know pain. She sounds (according to a female friend of mine) as if she's constipated.
I was about to say the same thing about Brie Larson!
I wondered about that too but manye she is more difficult with fans. They left off Ellen Degeneres & Lucille Ball.

I usually hear the opposite
That is a lie. He has stated on MANY occasions that he hates having to interact with fans

Thanks now I don’t need to watch this stupid video
I saw theShatt at the Macy's Thanksgiving parade. when I was about 10. I yelled "Oh it's Kirk!" and he waved and said "Hi liittle girl!' sorta nice.
He probably did now that you mentioned it to him. At least made him think about it.

I think there is one
It would just be 20 slots of Keanu Reeves.
Robert Redford, John Travolta.
Leornardo Dicaprio
Kevin Bacon? Hence why so many actors/actresses can be linked to him ("6 degrees from Kevin Bacon")
Yah! I know who you are! A famous Ahole whos a nobody without the fans you treat like shit!
Lol I'm so happy that he didn't get his way and that the manager had everyone's backs that's some heartwarming shit right there

Christian Bale did not deserve to be on the list. That was one incident. He visited the wounded victims of the Dark Knight Rises theater shooting. On the set of American Hustle, when David o'Russell was verbally abusive toward Amy Adams, Christian Bale stepped in and stopped it.
Underrated comment
Well...they didn't say he was a bad person, just a difficult co-worker, which is the theme of the video.
Doing good things from time to time doesn't make someone not a dick.
The only reason he defended Amy Adams is because she is another huge star, and there would have been blowback about him not standing up for her. When it’s a little person being screamed down no one gives a shit. The thing with TDKR was a studio backed PR move, and you know it.

That, at least, deserves an honorable mention, imo.
and they used body doubles for him
I think it had to do something about him not being satisified with the script and the direction, but was legally bind by a contract. Something like Johnny Depp in 21st street.
I don't know about thinking he was a Vampire, but apparently he did threaten people which caused someone to hire Big Bikers as security(if I remember correctly).

Lea played the nerdy Rachel but was mean off stage
Oh the irony.

I guess they cast the right guy for Iceman then, huh?
That is not "first-hand" confirmation however. _First-hand_ would mean you have worked with him. Hearing it from someone else is called "hearsay". And hearing it from your mom who has heard it from someone (lol) makes it a fairy tale.
The story is probably correct ... most Hollywood weenies are assholes ... but for sure it is not "first-hand".
I'm shocked that you said Bill Paxton was a good guy. From things I've heard over the years, he's lucky that he occasionally can land a role.
Wow my son worked at the company he subscribed to for his phone. He met him and found Val to be very nice. He liked dealing with Val.

I was waiting for Chevy Chase
He was literally written out of Community because he kept pulling BS on set and not showing up for work a lot
Don't think anyone in the millennial generation has even seen Chevy on a movie set. He was blacklisted long ago.
@@jnln552 Being tired doesn't mean you have the right to be an asshole to people
Chevy wasn't that bad, Martin Short and Steve Martin have nothing but good things to say about him

Charlie Sheen was a no brainer, literally.
I find it ironic that in The Three Musketeers(1993), he played a man of God, considering his unchristian-like behavior.
Luckily Charlie is recovering good just caught up doing bad things he’s actually a really nice guy I met him 5 months ago (sorry for shit grammar)
Chase Hedges67 Aramis is all but a man of God in The Three Musketeers (he becomes much later on in the saga). 😂😂
And Bruce Willis to be honest
How can you not mention Bill Murray? I mean his status as difficult to work with is legendary. It started back in Caddyshack. (They literally had to spend a whole day to convince him to do a scene with Chevy Chase-talk about a tense day on the set)
But it followed him through his whole career.
Said he liked to pick arguments with her using explicit language
Anjelica Houston - the life aquatic with Steve Zissou
And there were a bunch of others left out.
I'm surprised Julia Roberts didn't even feature in dishonourable mentions. She was nicknamed Tinkerhell back when she was filming Hook. She caused loads of problems and they all ended up hating her.

It’s ironic how pretentious and demanding actors are when there are so many people involved in making movies and shows who put more work into getting projects done
But the people don't go to movies and pay their money to see the crew.
Dale Henderson the crew is what makes the actors’ performance possible. Can’t have a good performance if the script and direction isn’t there. Actors are only there to act. They aren’t working on the movie for years like others in the crew
Exactly, they love to be assholes towards their own crew & call it “method acting”!
Worst part is that they know all this but also know most audiences will not try to be critical or hate the film because they don't want to be labelled as misogynistic and sexists by the pseudo-liberals and so just lap all the movies up .
i would love for you to check out my acting work on my channel and give your honest feedback :)

I thought that too, but I guess she's irrelevant now and it's not 1994
That's what I thought too, even though I really like Shannen it's well documented that she's hard to work with; the feud on Charmed that got her fired and her feud with Tori Spelling that Tori's father had to fire her from the show 90210 because Shannen didn't get along with his daughter Tori.

Worldwide worst actor to work with.... ever.
Even Jess Franco refused to work with him again! When he croaked, one director said "Klaus Kinski is dead and the world is a better place."

@@xxxentbrandonredhoodrobins7606 It was a stuntman who introduced Jan Michael Vincent to cocaine, curse him.A friend of mine got to meet The Monkees after a concert.Said they were charming.Would love to have met them, especially Peter,Jan Michael & a couple more.
Brando was so crazy and difficult he indirectly gave a young Martin Sheen a massive heart attack during Apocalypse Now.
Everytime Rachel Berry spoke on Glee I couldn't stand it. I tried to rewatch after the passing of Naya Rivera, I made it season 3 but couldn't take it anymore. (Also I forgot seasons 4-6 even existed.)
Shhh what seasons 4-6 😅😅
I couldn't stand her either😂
Maybe they are but I love watching Bruce Willis, Charlie Sheen, Shia LaBeouf, Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Lopez, Teri Hatcher, Christian Bale, Val Kilmer, Faye Dunaway, Dustin Hoffman, Russell Crowe on screen
I agree with all accept J Lo...give me a break dude.
@@2010redshift maybe you just hate her personality and bias towards her acting. She was amazing in Selena, U Turn, Out of Sight, The Cell, An Unfinished Life, Bordertown, Enough, Parker, Blood & Wine, Angel Eyes, Shall We Dance
@@irina1296 Most of the Teri stuff is just rumors and speculations. Kathryn Joosten in her final interview to the Emmy's before she passed, said that out of all the ladies she was the nicest to her. Probably the same for most of these actors.
Curious about the Dustin Hoffman one!!!
Why isn't Gwenyth Paltrow on this list? There are literally THREE people in the entirety of her career who have said they LIKED working with her. 🤣
@@johnsmi213 I loved Betty's style-she drove a Chevrolet while Joan had a Cadillac.
We all know what "creative differences" really means
What does it mean?
i would love for you to check out my acting work on my channel and give your honest feedback :)
Lol
Lol how old was he...?
One story that went around was he got the original director of National Lampoon's Christmas Vaction fired just because he didn't like him. I also noticed on the DVD for the film they had all the cast back for the film for the commentary apart from Chevy Chase.
Chevy Chase is a genuine asshole
It takes two to tango.
I heard that Mark Harmon is not completely innocent in the whole incident.
Edward Norton is still one of my favorite actors.
I agree. I believe he is a temperamental genius who may have narcissistic tendencies. Still he is a gifted actor.
Some of the actors on this list I think are the most talented ones and my favorites, so.. lol

"William Shatners fourth wedding" hahah ive heard so many bad things about Shatner, Im surprised he has any fans at all, some people must like being shat on I guess.
You should see his twitter,he’s arguing with someone almost everyday
What is a shat?
I'm more of a fan of.... his...... word..... pacing....... especially when he tries to.......... do it to music. It's hilarious.
Shat on by the Shatner
They don't call him Shat-ner for nothing
A friend of mine worked with Shia on Lawless. He said he was actually quite nice, despite his crazy nature
Weird because he sexually harassed my sister's friend when he was working on Lawless.
