Why Behringer Neutron is best addition to Moog Subharmonicon?

- Finally made my first review of synth combination. First pancake never turns out the best, i got problems with mic, but i think I've expressed my thoughts.
In first part i just patched seq1 and 2 with osc 1 and 2 and trigger to env gate. Then i modulated shape of osc 1 with lfo and shape of osc 2 with s&h and synchronised them with sequencers of moog. Then i patched triangle lfo to cutoff moog via attenuator. Finally i changed octave range of moog and add slew limiter on neutron.
In second part i connect vca of moog to input of neutron and patch vca to vcf and vcf to vca, then add bias to pass moog sound through neutron. And add delay and patch lfo to delay time via attenuator. Then i made bass drum from moog: trigger to env gate and envelope to cutoff, close the filter and rise the resonance. Finally i directed osc 1 to vca of moog and patch in with sequencer.
And last patch was from osc of neutron to osc input of moog in drone mode via attenuators, and it has to be fine tuned with attenuators to get exact note. Ok, i understand that its not moog sound already, but this is one more experimental way to play on it. Finally i turn on all oscillators of moog to get fm ambient.

Nice combination. I don't have any Moog products, but I do have a Neutron and currently controlling it from an Ornament & Crime module (original firmware) which is yielding wonderful results. Subscribed for more. BTW, the filter on the Neutron is totally fine, and versatile as it is multimode with 2 different outputs.

If you are in modular there are too many great filters like ssf, random source etc.
And I didn't appreciate the filter of neutron, sorry, I found it expressionless.

Hails mate! Hell yea, this is sweet. The patch bays are a simple key that fits nice. I use a werkstatt with a brute for the patching. Cool tones coming thru!
This is immense fun! A tip to try on the SubH - send midi cc 113 to it to turn the Rhythm Generator Logic from OR to XOR, it makes it much more polyrhythmic… It enables the triggering to have rests etc and not be so relentless. If you’re able to switch it in & out, it’s very pleasing for jamming etc. I turned one of the buttons on my Beatstep Pro into a toggle switch for the purpose and have had great results using the function. By the way, as an Englishman, I say your English is absolutely fine sir! New sub for thee here, peace ✌️

I disagree with the Neutron filter being meh. In my opinion its far superior to the moog to each there own. cool vid though.
