- Today we go through a few features Nissan probably didn't tell you about the Y62 Patrol. Some are for all models and some are more directed at the TiL. This video is more directed at the newer owners or perhaps the older owners who may not know. Hopeful soon when I am back home I can get some 4WDing videos out and a few more things that I would like to get underway. Enjoy!

Thanks for the vid! Can confirm anti pinch window feature works on S5 Ti. I could not get mirror dipping while reversing to work though
Beauty, assumed it did, was not game to try it ahah. Window dip is a TiL feature apparently.
Great share
I’m sitting in in my Ti-L. There’s not HDMI outlet in the entire can mate. Nothing in the back to enable using an IPhone to get that going through the headrest TV’s. Can you confirm what you are perhaps talking about mate ?
Anti pinch can be sensitive to rain and debris on the windows, be careful opening/closing when it’s raining because it might not work
Yeah spot on mate, had it randomly happen the other day.
@@WLD62 yeah I was confused why it wouldn’t close back during the floods, they also have like a water system because it was pushing water out and the fan was working harder
@@smallaam6191 Yeah okay... Very interesting. Thanks for the info mate.
Hey mate do you know if the 62 has crash collision breaking? Eg the car will break for you if there is a car in front
Yes mate, it does. Just have to make sure all sensors are on and it'll do it. Never had to test it out luckily!
Can I stop the mirrors from going down when reversing it is a pain when reversing a trailer
Oh man I live in a place where the average temperature is 45C and the window trick is 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Glad you found it handy mate!
Thanks for reply as i was planning to have one.Can we adjust level of headlight with button or still that one bot as well...
Headlights are manually adjusted under the bonnet. Although the TIL model, does have a self leveling head light that gets adjusted by the amount of weight on the rear axle.

Thabks mate for info.I had sports ford ever3st had all bell and whistles but now spending more its hard to go back in term of features. But i think Nissan is deaf in Australia.Appreciate your response mate.
@@kanwarsandhu9043 Yes I would agree, it's a shame they haven't been updated interior wise since they were first made...
I can’t see 100% on video, but if you don’t have any thing under that baby seat, if you like your leather I’d be placing some thing nice n thick under the seat base or your leather will be screwed very quickly. Great tips 👍👍
Yeah you're spot on mate, I have a piece of denim fabric under there as I figure it'll be tough wearing but gentle on the leather. Very good advice!
@@WLD62 with the kids etc and hot summer (no 3rd degree burns getting into a hot car) I found the custom fit seat covers made by a mob out in Geelong geat gear. It's pretty much wetsuit material and they are a extremely tight fit with no straps etc also waterproof/kid and pet proof. from memory was about 800ish for all 7 seats and custom head rest covers for the 2 displays for the littles in the back.
how do you re-set the mirror folding when you lock the car ? mines stopped and I can't figure it out
Mirror switch all the way down to the right.
Hey mate the lane and blindspot button, does that activate foward collision breaking aswell
That is active always mate, in my experience anyway. I have the lane departure off and the forward collision stuff is still on.
@@WLD62 weird, mine only beep when it keeps closer to another car never had it break for me though
@@antmobile3275 Unsure what conditions it needs to be to actually break for you. But mine does the same.
Hi Mate does it have auto high beam assist.Does it dip down automatically when opposite traffic approach.
Thanks
Unfortunately not, I was hoping it would, but it doesn't...
Hey mate, when ya offroad 4wd vid coming, looking forward to that
When I'm back home mate, planning on getting one out.
oh wow i owned a y62 for 5 years it didnt cross my mind that i can remove the annoying unlock door feature from my screen
Don't the mirrors only dip down for passenger side ?
Nahh mate, meant to be both sides. Neither of mine do for whatever reason...
Both driver and passenger on ti-l. can't say for ti and st
Damn. How's this on petrol? They only come in petrol right?
@@ovaisrehman9320 hi my Ti-L is a series 2, I average 16.8 litres per 100km and whilst towing 23ltr per 100km with a loaded up fro trips family of 5 and van loaded under 3tonne.
The patrols are only petrol. Only feed mine 98 if I can't get 98 then 95 never ran it with 91
Damn man makes my xr6 turbo seem like a prius. Lol. Its a 140L tank as well yeah ?
I’m sitting in in my Ti-L. There’s not HDMI outlet in the entire car mate. Nothing in the back to enable using an IPhone to get that going through the headrest TV’s. Can you confirm what you are perhaps talking about mate ?
Yeah mate. On the rear of the center console, on the very bottom, you'll find the HDMI.
@@WLD62 thanks mate
