Others would have driven the patrol differently but its good to see this bloke knows his own personal limits and capability's and stops before going to far out of his comfort zone. Good job :)
Fantastic video showing excellent driving skills, proper assessment of trails - safe and fun. If more people drove like this, 4WDing would have a far better reputation with the general public
Dave hope Nissan is watching this as you sold a thousand or more cars for them. While Idling along nicely. We love watching you Guys as you show what it is. And for the record the camera never shows how steep the hills really are. Great to see the Family out enjoying themselves. Take care safe travels Cheers
well done Nissan Patrollers. One of the best videos I've watched for some time. My favourite line..." that's how you break sh*t" This is a great way to test the capability of your vehicle and have fun at the same time.
I just bought a 2020 Nissan Armada (American version) which is basically a 2020 Patrol but the front end looks like the older Patrol and 2" less ground clearance. I already put yellow led fogs in but after a lot of searching around for patrol parts I'll be making mine into one of these soon. Thanks for making this video :) from Wisconsin USA.
Its amazing what these vehicles can do in proper hands with some additional equipment. I bet that in reality those hills a much steeper than they seem on video. Awesome video!
Well done Dave, well done Ilia. Kudos to Sharon for keeping the camera rolling under stress. Had me on the edge of my seat. Excellent, honest and real content. Keep it up mate.
I chewed my nails in anticipation, I cried in nervous whimpers, I laughed in triumph and a little bit of wee came out because I couldn’t take a loo break for 1hr 21mins and 53secs. Thanks for the ride along Dave 👍 total awesomeness.
If Benny doesn’t get back to you, just go to Carsales & add 2L per hundred to each of the “claimed” fuel figures to get an accurate real world consumption number when driving the car gently. Most V8’s are economical unless you’re accelerating, ie, driving in built up areas, getting stopped at Stop signs & red lights etc. But it always astounds me when people want to spend a fortune on a car & are concerned about fuel costs? Doesn’t.... really.... compute....
Just bought this beast.... 6 months due. Former SA boy but abroad.... Hermosa looks nice. But went black. It's my retirement present to myself after 25 years in ADF. How I would love to pick your mind and go next level on my car. Your channel is sick. Absolutely inspiration to my next new chapters in life... But not that hardcore tabletop video.....
Great trip to the forest! I love such trips. And I love Nissan Patrol. I really liked this movie. Are you missing an extreme tire. This route is great. We also have beautiful and interesting forest roads in St. Petersburg. Sometimes it is very difficult to drive through the forest without a winch. Especially in the spring after the snow. We will definitely install a snorkel. Good luck with your trips!
Thanks for the vid, I really enjoyed it. Those cars suit you guys. And they say there's no replacement for displacement, LOL. Sometimes it's just a bit of momentum and the right line.
Good onya mate! That's why you brought those beasts (and to tow your van).. it was good to see you getting through those tracks without ripping and tearing. No damage done. Except maybe to your wife's blood pressure. Me 40 years offroading Oz and northern Thailand. Thanks for the vid!
Just bought mine yesterday!!! Putting tires on it soon. Thats about all she needs. Got a great deal on the Armada!!! Same truck, thats what they're called here in the states.
Hi Guys, That was fantastic to watch. Very entertaining watching from the comfort and safety of my lounge room chair. Great live filming too. The sound of the big V8s is music to my ears. All the best regards Peter
40 mins in the hill is call palmtree bypass. the other option u said cant be driven is palmtrees and driven alot by the locals. the area u were in is bad in the wet . lucky it didnt rain while u were in there. ive spent hours watching 4x4 get wiched out of there.
Some of the things that freak you out truly surprise me, the car is so high and wide that you have so many available lines, but the fear man. I think beaches would suit you and your wives better. Your son seemed a bit edgier trying to figure out ways through.
Mate, mad props, by the looks of it you did Ho Chi Min, its no joke in the dry, so well done.I think you guys could of done little red in the dry. For first time visitors you guys did an awesome effort, and to not break anything that's a big win after doing glassey. That place has cost me thousands of dollars lol, only because I like the loud peddle. 👍😀
Awesome vid, I just picked one up didn’t even know this beast could be capable of going on trail like these. Keep the constant coming I have to live through you guys wife won’t let me hit the trails. I just liked and subbed.
Every time one of the wheels one quarter spun while the cars were being babied something shocking the poor woman was having a cardiac arrest. I’d like to see her live reactions when she’s at home watching 4wd 24/7.
Feeling nervous watching and it's not even my car. More suspense than any Hollywood block buster than I've seen in ages. And this was almost a feature length movie.
6:44 - Ronny mate, if you weren't that bold with the Beast in the background... that shot would have been the "Nissan Patrol Y62 let me show you how it's done" company profile!!! 😅 Still love you and your work man, Keep it up!!!😎😎😎
10:00 First WFT, is it really Dirty Y62, is it a Patrol at all? Why didn't Illia want to go there? 33:30 second WTF, I know it's slippery but I think if you backed up a little more with the wheels turned to the driver and then to go forward turned wheels to the other side and put considerably more throttle, there's definitely a chance to go over that without winching. Otherwise a nice video.
Nice, great to see these cars off road doing what they are designed to do, love the rumble while they are crawling. kudos to you Dave taking a brand new rig through that stuff , I did wonder if you would regret the bush barrier removal. No tarmac queens here!
Great video and I differently agree that keeping these 62s light is the way to go as I have built mine and it’s now very heavy and I don’t have a roof rack but have rear wheel twin carrier, 3 hop front bar with winch , 3 battery’s and inverter aand and arb rear drawer system and arb 60l fridge plus cooking gear and recovery gear and other 4wd accessories and I am guessing that all this gear would be pushing a ton at least on top of the normal weight of the car and watching this video shows the difference between yours and dirty 62 with power and speed needed to do the same track
You just found the track the locals call Hennessy's. Loved the comment "Thats not even a track" oh yes it is. 😈 Super a big hole at the top too. Great work though for your rigs. One of the nastiest places in Glasshouse.
Mate I just watched that whole video in absolute awe, crazy what these things can do, I am about to buy a warrior but don’t think I’ll be doing this stuff 😂
@@DASHOffRoad yea i live 10 min from glasshouse and explored a heap of the tracks so u get use to where to go and where not to go but if i havnt been in a while ill walk all water crossings cuz some big trucks grt out there with 40" tires and chee it up a bit. Next time your up here powerlines north up to the fire tower is a good drive easy enough only a few car swallowing holes to avoid
These cars are so capable with a few simple mods. Yeah extreme for sure, but would've been just as enjoyable driving the track in the dry, and less chance of breaking something. Well done everyone......
Others would have driven the patrol differently but its good to see this bloke knows his own personal limits and capability's and stops before going to far out of his comfort zone. Good job :)
Love that you getting the family out enjoying life in the great outdoors, the kids will grow up looking for adventures.

"Soft roaders get lost and accidentally end up on a real 4wd track"
Nah he just needs to learn to drive in mud

Thanks for watching 💯🙌
%100 agree I need a Y62 in my life these guys should be getting paid by Nissan. Can’t believe just how capable these things really are.!
Wow, this video has convinced me to buy a Y62 … unbelievable what these cars can do. Respect for what you guys did here pff 🙌🏻

Good lord! What a journey! Great job by all, and great to see what those vehicles are capable of!
It was a lot of fun riding/walking along with you and the gang. Thanks for posting.

hahahahahahaha
Great effort guys, love Sharon’s reactions so honest and raw and didn’t miss a beat filming it 🥰
Always impressed at how good these cars sound
Jajaja yeah, your girl has to chill and enjoy more the adventure, instead of being worried about everything all the time 😅
One of the gnarliest offroading videos ever! :) Nice.
I am glad you hit the tracks...that's where your forefathers lived and explored Australia.
Thanks for the videos..!
Bought a brand new Series 5 last week.. Moonstone White.. Absolutely loving it... Mighty..💪
Hi Benny. What’s the fuel consumption like if you don’t mind. Myself planning to buy one over the LC which way too expensive than a patrol.

That was breathtaking to watch absolutely amazing loved it all🙌🏼
The Mrs had me crackin up! It was pretty nuts tho!!
Easy going will get you there without breaking something .Well done and good driving
Thanks 👍
Absolute beast, I would have maximum confidence in taking this monster anywhere 💪
Mate, watched this great movie today, 4 beers, popcorn and a choc top later. It was all about y62’s in their natural environment, loved it....👍👍

Question ; The 2023 Y62 how does this vehicle run on 94 octane E10 without an ECU modification ???
I’ve only ever run RON98
Stop being a softy. JUST SEND IT
This video is waste of the time, have a look roothy or 4wd action, they arent scary at all
Talk about all the gear and no idea
Parks should be using these guy's to block tracks
I can understand not wanting to break anything but cmon man.....not even a little juice to clear some of them obstacles?
@@DirtySlapper99 least they not going in there and wrecking tracks so the average guy on 31s can't do any of them
25:24 - that's how we do it!!! well done on the "UP" 🤪mate!!!
Do you have a mute button for the Sheila every time the wheel leaves the ground a little bit ?? :D
hats off to you mate love the rigg.. y62 all the way
Patrols are hands down the best off roaders ever built.

You Aussies are crazy! Im quite impressed at what a nissan patrol will do, cool video mate.
why you didn't past that water stream)?
100ml of rain is less than a cup full. 100mm of rain is a shit ton. Great action !!!
I don't think your missus should go 4x4ing man, she's going to have a heart attack or something.
Every time one of the wheels one quarter spun while the cars were being babied something shocking the poor woman was having a cardiac arrest. I’d like to see her live reactions when she’s at home watching 4wd 24/7.
Driven everyone of those track in a gu there definitely doable 😂

More suspense than any Hollywood block buster than I've seen in ages. And this was almost a feature length movie.
Top effort. Been up and down that hill many times on dirt bike but never see 4WD do it.
Great Video Dave. some great teamwork going on there and trust in your spotter.
What bonet is that the ontrack has on boss?
Custom
You have the gear, you just need to get over the nerves! You'd be amazed at what these vehicles can do when you have confidence.
What tracks did you guys tackle on that day..?
Hi does the bloke with the turboed y62 have a youtube or contact as i am interested in the cost and performance of the patrol thanks.
Troy
Give Jonny Tig a call in Adelaide, he built it 👌
that was crazy, good job.

Hey Dave, lot's of 3 word sentence's... What a video!, welcome to QLD!, right foot lovin'!, go the Y62!, Nissan Patrols RULE!....
...sorry, I forgot. Balls of Steel!

Lots of folks buy these cars, and never do jack. I applaud you guys for getting out and doing your best. The haters are goin to hate.
Had a bit of a laugh at this video. Has bush barriers on to drive on the bitumen & beach. But none on to drive in the bush.🤔
Awesome video DASH Keep up the good work
well done keep up the good work
Listening to Sharon stress is stressful, but awesomely watch how capable the y62 is with minimal mods.
Sometimes less is more
Pretty entertaining!
Well you’ve sold me, pick up our Y62 in a couple of weeks. How do I get a predator bar fitted in Queensland??
This patrol has a lot of potential but it’s being driven like it’s a luxury car.
what would you choose between new defender , 2019-20 landcruiser sahara or 2020/21 Nissan patrol ?
Y62 everyday
why are they so much cheaper than a Landcruiser …
Hello I like your video. And I have one question that the front pamper which brand or from where can I buy it please?.
It’s from DASH OffRoad www.dashoffroad.com.au/y62-predator-evolution-front-bar-for-series-5
rich boys with the 200's nice one fellas... I'm chugging along with my hdj81 happy days!
I’m not sure how to take that comment 🤷♂️
Really enjoyed this video, keep up the 4WDing, looking forward to seeing more of the Patrol
Damn, that’s a brand new car 😱
Was 😅
AWESOME.
10/10.
THANK YOU.
I never thought the Patrol was this capable, I’ve always thought the Land Cruiser was the thing. Those Patrols did it with ease.
The Patrol and Land Cruiser are the best in the world! High quality !!! I love my Nissan's 5.6L V8!❤❤❤❤😊
Welcome to QLD Dave :). Epic video mate. Glasshouse is always fun but every time I've been out there someone suffers a little bit of carnage. :)
Nice, great to see these cars off road doing what they are designed to do, love the rumble while they are crawling. kudos to you Dave taking a brand new rig through that stuff , I did wonder if you would regret the bush barrier removal. No tarmac queens here!

I agree. I'm keeping mine light. Removing the 3rd row seats. Only light gear on top. No kids or wife, only a dog. Less luggage and provisions...❤❤❤😊
Superb track and adventure!! Amazing your skills!! And so funny to hear your wife suffering!! 🤣
Slow, steady and calm heads 😎👍
Awesome off-roading❤would love to see unmodified y62 off-roading next.

Why did you leave the bush barriers off?
Are the y62s got low mounted alternators?? Any plans for fully sealed units if so??
I believe a 200ah sealed unit is available
Mate I just watched that whole video in absolute awe, crazy what these things can do, I am about to buy a warrior but don’t think I’ll be doing this stuff 😂

Really nice video, no showing off just take your time and do it right!
