The irony that she wanted to become a famous serial killer, but Germany’s strict identity protection laws mean we don’t even know her real name… poetic
this is likely her training arc... she didn't even try to hide it. in 12 years I would be worry living in germany.
This case is extreme example but to be honest when you see how "court of public" (especially in USA) can totally lynch you if you are just suspect I am glad for our identity protection laws (I am czech but our protection laws are similar).
@@mariefryzelkova7927h yeah, it’s pretty insane how some ppl take a suspects name and run with it, in some cases doing irreparable damage to the person only for them to not even be guilty. court of public opinion can do lots of harm sometimes!
I do enjoy this part of the story
So..to be clear...you can show her image, tell us where she was born, her medical diagnosis and pretty much give away everything about her and her past, but you can't reveal her name? I'm not gonna do it, but I doubt it would be challenging to find her name on the internet. It took about 20 minutes after Ryan Giggs asked for a super-injunction where his name couldn't be published by the press in a legal incident before his name was publicly known by everyone in the UK. I'm sure the German authorities have the best intentions with their privacy laws but privacy laws are pretty much irrelevant in the internet age.
Just for future reference, if a woman is super willing to have sex with you as a stranger, and then recommends a shed in the woods where no one will know you are “having sex”…..its probably not what you think it is.
Right?? Like every woman I know values her life too much to go to a rando shack with a literal stranger…
Anytime a dude asks to go hiking on the first few dates makes me super anxious and I usually cancel and don’t bother again. A woman would definitely not respond well to sex in a shed in the woods, but I can see why this dude was down. She’s got that Satan worshipping vibe and he thought he was playing in her kink.
To be fair, he looked mid thirties, what is he doing trying to pick up teenagers? I mean, he was no saint either .
Yep. You got it.
He was a 40 year old man and if unto that surely could have paid for a safe experience- have to wonder why she is so cold 🥶- although doesn’t take much imagination?
The way she behaves makes it clear that she's very likely to reoffend. I hope they don't let her out for society's sake.
There are different Methods for keeping people locked up if they pose a threat to society in Germany. Depending on your situation you might never get out, unless a psychiatric exam clears you. I'm not exactly sure what the specific situation is in this case.
Yathink? Lol 🤦♂️
She was convicted under the juvenile criminal law, which could have given her a maximum sentence of 10 years, but since the "particular gravity of the guilt" was determined due to her lack of empathy, she received 12 years. In addition, preventative detention was imposed -> she needs a psychiatric exam in order to get free
What gave you that opinion that she would reoffend. I mean apart from the fact she said it be sad if she went to prison without getting to kill someone. I mean apart from the fact she said she would, how did you Sherlock Holmes that 🤣🤣
Who cares, Germany's a s***hole anyway.
Thank you for not demonising people with bpd. My sister struggles with it. And she has made so much progress with her mental health. She'd never do something so vile as take another persons life. And she has a huge heart for animals. She's had to work through a lot of trauma from her early life. She's gone through so much. And most people I've met with bpd or any other mental health problem has been good, kind, and would never hurt another person.
Hhmm I disagree, people with BPD in my experience are horrible horrible people with stunted warped ideas of empathy and loyalty, it is now acknowledged in the DSM that they are as bad as NPD for empathy lack and manipulation skills second only to a psychopath, ...it is after all a cluster B personality warp.

Same is true EVERYWHERE.
Women always get more lenient sentences, and Germany is far more lax than the US
Yeah, she's probably gonna do it again once free. She's a psychopath, no amount of therapy is going to change that.

I get recommended other crime videos and they are so disrespectful and obviously use the stories of the victims for views. Thank you for your quality and respective videos, I appreciate it a lot.
Also worth noting that she tried to convince her mother to kill her ex-boyfriend. The mother replied with "I am not a murderer"

You know, as far as killers go, she's got to be one of the stupidest pitiful attempts of someone "being a serial killer" and getting away with it. She had a fantasy in her mind but had no idea she was in way over her head and this was something she couldn't handle. If her idols had seen her back when they were alive they would have laughed at her pitiful attempt and then killed her themselves. She wouldn't think it was cool then.
Or they would pull a Joker, trick her into becoming their Harley Quinn, use her to help them in their heinous crimes, then toss her aside once they see her as having no further use to them.

I am unsure how it works in Germany, but I worked in the forensic psychiatry system in Canada. Everyone acts as if being sent to a psychiatric facility is getting off easy, but (in Canada) for someone like this who refuses treatment, even after the 12 years is up, they will likely continue to detain her. It’s not like jail, where you do your time and go. You’re stuck there until a doctor deems it is safe to let you out. I have worked with individuals who have begged to get sent over to the prison system so they could eventually go back to the community.
It's similar here in Germany. "Insane criminals" are locked away in psychiatric prison hospitals (and not in the general state prisons). This normally means they'll never be free again although they're sentenced accordingly ... unless a psychiatric team pronounce them "safe" in society.
Amost all inmates in the general state prisons in Germany are prescribed x-hours of psychiatric therapy which isn't compulsary though benificial for their general behaviour during the time in prison.
unfortunately Europe in general is quite "soft", im willing to bet she'll be out at some point in the next 20-30 years.. a dangerous 45-50 year old, looking for a 2nd victim. :(
Same in the USA. I hope she doesn’t ever go to treatment so she will be gone for good.

Enough said.
I can't believe all she got was 12 years. She should have gotten at least 25- life.
She won't get out after 12 years. She may be never free again.
In germany this is pretty normal, that even murderers get sentences like this. For example Suleiman A, who killed a doctor with 20 stabbings in 2018 will be free soon.
Only if you are very dangerous and are a repeated offender you can get something called "sicherheitsverwahrung" which is like a life sentence with parole.

As someone who lives with BPD, thank you for validating us by saying millions of us suffer with this and most of us would not do what she did. As someone who has BPD, I don't need validation. You don't need validation from anyone. The victim mentality is out of control.
Isn’t a central feature of BPD to craft oneself as a victim?
@@34turnerjason yes I understand that, but my point is it's refreshing to hear a true crime researcher say that not everyone with BPD has murderous intentions like this case. Words of wisdom. Hopefully you never HAVE to take this advice, but if you find yourself in a stabbing situation DO NOT TAKE THE BLADE OUT. Sometimes, it being impaled into you is the only thing stopping you from bleeding out. Don’t, under any circumstances remove the blade. Let the Doctor/surgeon do that.
I was told of a man who worked for a railway, maintaining box cars, and
fixing things. He was doing work between 2 big box cars, when they abruptly
moved, squishing him between them, with their connecting metal latches
on both sides penetrating his body. He was stuck and still conscious until
they moved the cars apart, and then he fell dead. I guess the metal latches
he was impaled with were preventing him from bleeding out. Good advice.

I was diagnosed with BPD 20 years ago. I never killed or wanted to kill someone. I could understand someone with BPD hurting or killing someone in the heat of the moment, if they are in ''crisis'', but this murder was planned and carried out. The ''I have BPD'' defense is bullshort in this case.
I'm sorry but "bullshort" made me LOL. But as someone who has BPD as well, yes I fully agree with what you said. Spot on.
Another BDP suffer here - I am high functioning and work full time. I have a major crisis periodically - not one in the last 12 months now...... I have major issues and can't be around people as I don't trust my emotions to keep me safe. It's not difficult to work with professionals to find coping mechanisms, you just have to want to engage. I am so please with how Adrian touched on this diagnosis too. Very fair IMO.
Having bpd my self I can understand (but never defend) the motive. It was most likely a desperate attempt to kill the big empty.

I just wanted to say thanks for not demonizing people with BPD. I have bipolar disorder myself, but there's a lot of overlap and both are still pretty stigmatized. I'm also a social work student, and it was VERY surprising to me how many of my classmates talked badly about people with BPD, saying they're manipulative and hard to care for. They're just people struggling greatly.
Being manipulative is bad regardless. The difference is if the person struggling with BPD or bipolar seek help or just continue being a toxic person.
@@jawaela Having a mental illness doesn't automatically make you toxic.
@@ShaeRosalee I didn’t say it does? I said being manipulative is bad.
@anna not all of us are toxic. The only toxic traits I have are inward aimed like self sabotage and self loathing. I've never been toxic toward anyone but myself. And I agree, without getting help, it can be a mental health issue that takes over your life and can destroy things. But bpd, bipolar etc are over stigmatized and that just makes things so much more difficult. If you open up to people and let them know, they distance themselves, or change how they see you or act. Or are horrified. The mental health issues that seem to overlap and fall under a similar umbrella seem to make people assume negative things. I feel if it was more widely taught about different mental health issues and personality disorders... They would get helped sooner, as well as being understood rather than ostracised x
Borderline personality disorder is nothing like bipolar disorder, just saying.

@@bhavikasicka7871I think, and maybe I'm just being wacky here, regarding a contentious youtuber as an idol is not vaguely in the same league as idolising an actual serial killer. Hashtag hot take.
It IS BLATANTLY OBVIOUS that the individual IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND there is ABSOLUTELY NO doubt that she WOULD go on to commit more murders given the chance!!! Therefore, she MUST remain locked up for the REST OF HER LIFE!!!!!!!
But why?
She only killed a simp.
Simps aren't people.
There's a reason why "simp" rhymes with "chimp" you know.
Your use of capitalized words is a crime!

I hope your caps lock is broken cuz if not your attempt at italicizing words is brutally awful 😂😂😂
Thank you for the video. Keep up the good work!
This woman should never be let out of the psychiatric facility she is in . I also don't understand why she has access to hair colour , fashion items etc .. her obsession with Ramirez and Bundy shows how sick she is .
It's not even an obsession. Like i said before, it's cringy teenage/young adult stupidity. Trying to be edgy and cool. She is nothing special, but clearly thinks that she is. Wonder how she would've reacted if Ramirez and Bundy attacked her 😂 surely they wouldn't spare her and invite her to kill with them and have sex, like she probably imagined in her dumb head. I can assure you, that she doesn't know anything about Ramirez, she probably saw a photo of him at the court with pentagram and thought that it was cool. Ramirez only started to look better after he got caught. Was able to get his teeth fixed and clean himself up properly. Before he smelled badly and people stayed away from him. Maybe she watched American Horror Story 😂 She deserves life sentence, without any access to fashion. Also that ''pentagram'' show off was cringe too. I laughed my ass off when it was said that just before the murder she did those ridiculous google searches. Bundy and Ramirez at least weren't caught 30 minutes after the murder, yet she thinks she is all that. A crime is a crime, yet the way she tries to picture herself pissed me off so badly, that i literally wanna punch her. Wonder how that ''edgy killer girlie'' would've reacted.
@@wiktoriajedrzejewska7287girl really wanted to be a famous killer like girl i honesty forgot you even existed she will never be famous like ted bundy, Richard Ramirez and others😂🤣
Never feel like you have to apologize for your hard work or just simply living life, this is also your safe space to be yourself. This channel is one of the absolute best on YT and we appreciate you and the hard work you put in 😊
I agree! We all need our own time! I hope Adrian knows that we feel lucky to have him do this channel for us, and we totally understand 💕
@@samanthajacobs2827I do too! The way he makes sure to show his condolences for the victims and family is so respectful and important when telling these stories, I also appreciate how in depth he goes and how easy it is to follow along. Definitely a lot of hard work goes into this and it’s very appreciated!
Yes, Adrian you are the best!
You may feel jet lag, but your puns and humor is spot on 😂. I sure didn’t notice an abruptness our definition of abruptness must be vastly different 😂. All I noticed was a great presentation, as always. Catch up on your sleep 😴, and thank you for still posting.
Great video Sir! No apology necessary!!!❤❤
Hey Adrian thanks for another great video!! Glad you got to move to Australia🤗 as we all know how much you love the scenery! 🥳 Congratulations 👏🏼 keep doing what you do!

I’ve been with your channel for awhile now and I can’t seem to get enough. You have only been here since Dec 2020 and look how much you have grown ! Congratulations Adrian
Can’t believe it’s only been since then, feels like so much longer 😍
Right? I remember finding this channel when it had 200k subscribers :D
As always, Coffeehouse Crime's ☕️ presentations of strange individuals are excellent! Thank you. Es ist furrückt! It's crazy. The bit of German I remember from high school! Not just the sentencing, but darkness of it!
I've missed you these last 2 weeks!!
She is what I call a 'pure psychopath' and should never be released from any incarceration, seriously why she never got life without parole is beyond me!
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed you trip here down under Adrian and keep up the great coverages of true crimes that a majority of us wouldn't ever find out about and have taught me quite a few things about people whom committee these unbelievable crimes so thanks m8
Probably would have got life if it was a guy
She'll do it again if released
Bc there ist no such thing as life without parole in Germany. 12 years ist actually big given that she was 18. It could have been much less. That ist how it works here. Hope she will be held longer than those 12 years.
My ex suffered with bpd and its rather horrific and for those dating a sufferer, he wouldn't acknowledge this illness, I actually tried a lot of ways to help, in the end I finished the relationship after catching him on a dating site. bpd is no excuse to kill another at all, I've complex mental health issues but would not hurt others, as always a respectful upload Adrian.
They’re nearly impossible to date, it takes everything out of you. I know exactly what you’re talking about, it’s tough. I feel bad for their families because they don’t just get to break up with them.
Someone who doesnt want to acknowledge his illness is a walking red flag no matter what mental illness is because they dont want help.
@@nl-ho4wm 100% agree, I even spoke to his gp
@@Sniperboy5551 I think it stemmed from his mother and father, it nearly broke me tbh, thankfully 3 years on and I'm single and fine being so
Yes, it can be beyond horrific. My relationship with an untreated pwBPD was the single most exhausting thing I've ever experienced in my life, and I've been through hell before that. I seriously can not find the words to describe it. I ended up in the hospital and was in an almost catatonic state for a while. Complete and total burnout.
I gave my all. My everything and beyond. And was abused and accused endlessly.
I didn't want to believe that he was beyond hope. I could honestly write a book about it.
I'll always love him, but I'm going to stay as far away from him as possible for the rest of my life like I've been doing since years. There was and is no other way.
Thanks Adrian for another absolutely amazing video. Never a disappointment.
Hope you had a great time in Australia. Great you are back at it.
I' a German and I never heard of this case... Thank you for your good work, Adrian, and good luck for Australia 🌞
“What was he thinking as he slowly bleed out?”
I want to know what he was thinking meeting a woman saying she’s the Devil’s Bride willing to have a romp in an abandoned barn
He probably thought it was just playing into the goth, BDSM thing she was going for
Well, consider that he was 39 and she was 18. I'm pretty sure we all knew what he was thinking. However, if you're an almost 40 year old guy, the chances that a teenage girl wants to meet you in some isolated place and doesn't have something nefarious in mind are probably pretty low.
Seriously!
He was probably thinking of the other dozen times this has happened but ended with sex instead of assault... It's not uncommon for people to talk like that or meet in clandestine locals...
He probably thought, dang I should have use my other head to think it through haha
Great work Adrian ❤❤❤
A 39 who wanted to meet up with 18 year old girl he thought was a virgin. Bro
I am one of those who suffer with BPD. I know how hard the emotional regulation is. It's absolutely maddening having to CONSTANTLY think about your words and reactions to absolutely every single thing happening to you in your life, but here I am. Never having murdered anyone. I didn't even know what I was suffering from until I was 30 years old, and still never did something so vile. People like her really make being a person with BPD even more difficult. It keeps people away from us, believing we are all insane and entirely too difficult to deal with and be around. But most of us are self aware and willing to try to not outwardly express...that's actually why so many of us self harm. Many of us are inward presenting, we don't try to harm others, only ourselves. She just used BPD as her shield and her own reasoning for doing what she did. How sad for this poor man and his family.
She truly just represents her vile nature as a person and nothing to do with BPD
Agreed. I have BPD too. I really like when people call out those who use it as a cover for their deeper issues
I have BPD too and it sickens me when murderers use BDP as a cover for their heinous actions. It just makes us even more isolated.
I have been diagnosed with BPD too. I am doing a lot better than when I was first diagnosed and I have had the support of my partner. Never have I wanted to kill somebody though nor have I attempted to. BPD doesn't make you kill people and it isn't a shield for violence.
I have BPD too and what you are saying is spot on! I hate when people use their mental health as an excuse for them to do such horrible things to people
Adrian brother, you never fail to enlighten. A master of your craft. ❤
Whenever i feel like im not a normal person, i watch true crime videos
Thank you for being respectful of someone who has BPD so many see us as monsters when we just can't always regulate ourselves and a lot of us do our best and even get help and go into remission
Your production value and composure on camera have improved so much over the past couple of years. I really appreciate all of your hard work. You’re one of my favorite UA-cam creators.
Well done Adrian....even with the jetlag....you were just as kind and respectful as always!! Well told and documented video once again! Thank you!!!❤
Adrian, I wouldn't know you had jetlag. Your brilliance won't be covered by any cloud. Great as usual!
Hi Adrian! Boise girl here!! Love your channel, thanks for the good work!
OMG my face when i heard that it is my hometown! how come i've never heard about that case. Thank you for covering it so well.
That is so sick & twisted, having pictures of a serial killer on her wall.
Been here since 100+K, I look forward to your videos every single time you upload. You perfectly upload in the morning right while I’m getting ready for work everytime. I’m honestly embarrassed how often I talk about you in my personal life. You’re the best Adrian!
I remember when he first started his channel and had only 8 or so videos. I remember thinking he would blow up. His videos are much more polished and professional than other true crime youtubers. It's impressive considering he created a unique brand and style all on his own. Or at least I think he does it on his own. You would think he has a team behind him helping to make his videos.
In my country we dont have patience for remorseless killers. Really sad for zayed.
Thank you for posting this video even though you're jet-lagged. I've made that journey from the US East Coast, and it's a long, long trip.
I have BPD and that you that you were so kind to explain the basics❤❤I wish that more people would see us in a different light than Jody Arias and Amber Heard(and many others)❤ ….
Hope you recover soon Adrian. Thank you for taking time to share this one with us. Extraordinary and very disturbing.

Yay, new video! Thank you for your continued content Adrian! ❤
Good luck in Aus, Adrian, but please keep up with these, I am riveted. Greetings from Cyprus. 👍👍
I am from Ebermannstadt where she got arrested and know a little bit more about her. There seemed to be a lot of family issues… even when she was in jail her mom and sister wrote disturbing postcards to her even defending what she did. The responses were always that she needs her posters from her room and more hair dye… and yes her mom send everything. I know this bcs my mom worked at the local post station in Ebermannstadt haha she always said that the family acted very strange in general - even before the incident.
As a long time fan I was surprised to see a case covered from my hometown by Adrian. Thank you ❤
Man this is unbelievably sad. She couldn’t even help but wait just 5 min to kill him. She absolutely would have kept it going if she didn’t get caught so fast. Great episode, sad story!
Thank you for releasing another case for us despite the jet lag! You are a champ, go rest. We will be here when you return 🖤
Great content 👍
I watch your vids religiously, and i gotta say, man, i love every single one of them!
Two of my best friends have BPD. They are some of the kindest most caring people I know, mental illness never excuses sometimes like this, and people that hide behind their illness and perpetuate the “scary sick person” stereotype are some of the worst out there.
