    Made these twice. First time I made sure to measure and weigh out everything by grams and the result was perfect. Second time, also great but since I measured in cups and spoons it didn't result in a perfect cupcake. Still delicious but slightly more dense and slightly less spongey. So overall I highly recommend weighing everything out before you begin. This recipe is amazing though.

      That usually happens due to the flour being clumped together slightly, if you stir the flour a little it’ll help give you a more accurate measurement when using cups:) but that’s another reason I prefer using grams!

    165C = 329F that’s not even an option on most stoves.

      Wow really?! Mine goes down to 90C. here in NZ it's quite common to have lower temperatures on ovens :)

      330 deg F at 17 min worked well in my oven.

    I made today, they're really soft and fluffy.
    I used homemade buttermilk (milk + vinegar) instead of yogurt, cos I didn't have yogurt at home.

    This is my fave recipe! Works every time, this morning I even added fresh blueberries and some orange zest and made muffins. Easily the best baking channel on UA-cam 💗💗

    Idky but my sugar and egg does not whip at all to be creamy. I've gone for 10min and it's still the consistency of gritty sugar. I have tried THREE TIMES 😢😢😢 I watched another video with similar ingredients to yours, but it called for 1/2 cup vs 1/4 cup of butter which did create the cream (sugar + butter) I have tried. But I want to use your recipe 😢 Please help!!

      Grind the same quantity of sugar mentioned to make it powder form n use it

    These were delicious, very light and airy! In my full-size convection oven, I cooked them at 350 F for 15 minutes and some got a little too brown. I will reduce the temp next time.

      @@wateasa I couldn’t be asked to go out & buy some so I used buttermilk instead since it has similar consistency and sourness and it turned out great! Greek yogurt or plain should be fine though

    Help I make a lot of cupcakes but being as so many people including myself don't like buttercream at all I have been using fresh double cream. I would so pleased to be able to pipe a lovely top on them but my cream is too soft or to whipped I can't get it right. I added a bit of lemon curd to my cream for my lemon cupcakes but it went too grainy .Do you think it was because of the lemon in the Sicilian curd and do you think a soft cheese topping might be better.HELP.

      Hi Vanessa! To prevent mushroom looking cupcakes you want to make sure you're not overmixing your batter and that your leavening agent is fresh :)

    Made them twice, dont know what i keep doing wrong, but mine keep coming out dense and just feel, look and taste like they are raw even through the toothpick is clean. They just keep coming out heavy and they should be light.😢

      Wa alaikum alsalam I tried with chopped chocolate I added half the batter in the cupcake pan and put in the chocolate and added the rest for 2/3 full so good 😊 hope you have success
