Idky but my sugar and egg does not whip at all to be creamy. I've gone for 10min and it's still the consistency of gritty sugar. I have tried THREE TIMES 😢😢😢 I watched another video with similar ingredients to yours, but it called for 1/2 cup vs 1/4 cup of butter which did create the cream (sugar + butter) I have tried. But I want to use your recipe 😢 Please help!!

These were delicious, very light and airy! In my full-size convection oven, I cooked them at 350 F for 15 minutes and some got a little too brown. I will reduce the temp next time.
@@wateasa I couldn’t be asked to go out & buy some so I used buttermilk instead since it has similar consistency and sourness and it turned out great! Greek yogurt or plain should be fine though

Help I make a lot of cupcakes but being as so many people including myself don't like buttercream at all I have been using fresh double cream. I would so pleased to be able to pipe a lovely top on them but my cream is too soft or to whipped I can't get it right.
