- We recorded this video inside a church called Víkurkirkja in a small town called Vík before we played an intimate show there the same night. This is the first tour we’d done with this setup and the first tour we’ve done where we traveled around Iceland playing 14 shows in small towns around the island.

While I've enjoyed your recent albums, stripping away all that production and singing in Icelandic highlights what I've always loved about your music. You have an amazing voice, and your native tongue is so beautiful --- as an American, this is the Ásgeir I crave.

@@vipelere Yes I own just the icelandic versions ... the english i hear just (on UA-cam)because I want to understand it better. But the Music is way better in original Language.
My mother's family is Icelandic, from around Akureyri, as well as Danish from around Odense. When I was a child my amma taught me some Icelandic but that was a long time ago. I try to learn as much as I can and hope to travel to Iceland to see my family's homeland. I try to listen or watch anything in Icelandic and this is beautiful!
