It's inspiring to witness Xuper Xin to regain world No.1 after 7 years. When most people think he's passed his prime time he refused the downhill and chose to evolve, to change, to break through especially on his backhand. I love table tennis because of him, now the only thing he needs to fulfill his already successful career is an Olympic gold medal.
Great video giving insight into some of his personal habits and skills. Thanks Stiga! I hope he'll win a major title very soon, he has the skills and he's one of the most stylish players around these days!
Wow im so happy to see there is so many Fans from all over the world!(i m from China) Xu Xin got his biggest chance this year,he will fight for olympic chanmpion in Tokyo 2020.

@@eric_diascp2apparently, he IS right handed, but his coach when he was like 7-9 found out his left hand is better for table tennis than left, so he plays left handed.
@kiddynamo Hi! Xu Xin is World Champion. He is World Team Champion 2010 in Moscow and Men's double World Champion 2011 in Rotterdam together with Ma Long. We think there is a 50/50 chance that he playes the Olympics in team. He is a lefthander and he is the best against defence players, such as Joo Se Huyk from Korea.
great video! I really love these videos!! STIGA please recruit Zhang Jike so he could have videos like this! hahaha! hmm i think it's better if you just did the subtitles :) anyway! thanks stiga!
How insightful it was. So, according to Xu Xin, if you want to enhance your footwork, you must insist on practicing footwork exercices, and a lot because it takes time to have a good footwork. Thanks, captain obvious! I don't want to belittle Xu Xin's great performance btw, just underlining the uselessness of his answer ;)
Look at how shiny the top veneer on his blade is. It's lacquered AND polished. I guess they don't want that water from the glue to destroy the blade over time.
@RedSwordTT Xu Xin uses black on his forehand like most other Chinese players (the belief being that black sheets of the same rubber are stickier). The red sheet that he was gluing on was for his backhand and they just didn't take the time to show him gluing it on, I imagine it would have been sort of redundant.
Wuhu (: i love this video (: I wish to spend a day with him, like training or something like that :D Can u do a video with Zhang jike or Ma long? (: Very nice video!
Very stylishly made. But why did he stick a red rubber on FH and leave no gap like a shakehand racket? I believe he only do that on his BH. Obviously it is not really his blade but a brand new one for show.
@RedSwordTT Valid point. I wouldn't dispute that this is a promo more than a doco. I guess stiga should hire us as outside consultants. They probably didn't figure people would catch those things and if they really wanted to use product placement, they should have shown the front of the package cover :P
@criddlenation Stiga Rosewood V only has lens (logo) on FH of handle so he is indeed sticking a red rubber on FH of the blade. The rest of video shows him play with black rubber on FH (logo side) so he was not actually practicing with this blade he made. The red rubber is Stiga of some sort and many believe XX use Tenergy in competition so this is probably a Stiga promo video rather then a real doco.
It'd be interesting to see a 2k on a Concept rower by elite tennis players. Not sure about lung capacity and those chicken arms but legs and core seem to be well developed. My guess is around 6:40-6:45 for top players, maybe less for taller and heavier europeans.
Actually is not mix handedness, scizors are impossible to use with the left hand unless they're designed to it, that's why some lefties have to use their right hand to use scizors

Xu Xin: How much branding?
STIGA: Yes.
The stiga laptop is my favorite
5:25 how comes the TV isn't STIGA.
Leshrac Banehallow i
Actually, I think that's an old iMac G3
ran out of stickers
This is my favorite table tennis player
Haha that nice trick he did with the ball and his nails was awesome. 1:38
+Martyr of Grenth True
it's actually easy to do, the thing is when I do it, it won't spin for that long
Probably because of his rubber.
He use stick rubber in his backhand now, it's more spin absolutely
thats the point where you see that he feels this sport inside and outside.
1:16 The rolling stick is made by Butterfly.
Because he uses tenergy 05
@@sebastientan5210 you dont need a butterfly roller for butterfly rubbers it's just a preferance
@@irtiza4262 idk anymore try searching in Google what equipment he uses because before thats what i remember.
Xu Xin is one of the high potential player. He definitely will be top or near top in the near future.
Thank you for such a wonderful insight from XX's life, he's a living legend 💖
Xu Xin has got crazy footwork.
Ryu Seung Min is better
@@memesvideoswtfouson6063 Who asked?
So for him table tennis is a job he goes to every day. Maybe at the weekend he can do some office work for fun.
Its hos career
haha
Fuck... Good one
The only difference is that he doesn't get paid by the hour like normal wages :)
That's the same for every sports, u practice everyday and have a few days off like 1-2 or even none
lol the "stiga" computer xD
Guys put captions/subtitles on 4:48

these videos with xuxin are so cool! :)
This guy is destined to be a Mega Star. And it helps that he is a showman in a humble sort of way!
Too much stiga branding. Even on his laptop?
+pascuavram Yeah that's just weird.
pascuavram he has to wear only stiga almost everything should be stiga otherwise he gets removed from his sponsor
If you get paid a lot of money by a sponsor, you put their stickers on everything - that's how it works
Xu Xin really likes stiga, let him be
How many stiga signs do you want
Stiga:yes

“Now I will use a BUTTERFLY roller to get rid of all the air and make sure it is smooth”
Ok it doesn't matter what roller he uses
Never laughed so hard 😂😂
I believe that Xu Xin and Wang Liqin have some of the most beautiful forehands to watch in this sport.
1, I noticed he had Fanta orange for lunch.2, It's so rare to see him perform traditional backhand push stroke.
please do this with fan zhendong also
But fan zhandong isn’t sponsored by Stiga
@@stew880 yes he is, has been for a long time
7 years later he’s number one again
I liked the trick when he catches the ball between his fingers and keeps on spining :)

Number one again!
Nice! Hope STIGA will continue this, the make such good videos :D
i like his style

2:44 when the girl you're staring at stares back at you...... LMAO.
I love his triple turn jump. 3'43"
1:38 omg how did he do that?
You just hit the ball in the air while putting spin on it and then catch it with your finger nails and the ball spins
THIS NEEDS AN UPDATE!!
Now you should do a second video with the number one 🔥👍
No I think it's only advertisement...In Dortmund he played with DHS Neo Skyline 3 and some sort of Tenergy :)
Insane Stiga marketing in this video.
Look at how shiny the top veneer on his blade is. It's lacquered AND polished. I guess they don't want that water from the glue to destroy the blade over time.
The alarm tone really get me😂😂😂😂😂

he play's Stiga Rosewood NTC V and Stiga Calibra LT (both max.)

I noticed that he eats, hold remotes, texts and open doors with his right hand but plays Table Tennis with his left hand.
pdubb32 non-dominant hand is stronger
Xu Xin is right-handed. In some games, you will see him sign a paper with his right hand. He, however, learned tt with his left.
so cool.
Do you do a particular diet to play ping pong ?
back to #1!
very nice :)
Yeah in this video the rubber identification number is 68-008 which is Calibra LT. I'm not sure what he uses for competitions
Does anyone know the shoes at 1:44 ?
xu xin is so cute bro, i wish I can be as good as him
