@Roy de Vries de Vries A lot of guys have good footwork. The Korean penholder Ryu Seung Min had as good a footwork as I've ever seen. Some of the better defensive players have great footwork too, like Joo Se Hyuk, Koji Matsushita and Ruwen Filus
Xu Xin and Ma Long are easily the most aggressive players of the game .... What differentiates Xu Xin is that he really waits for the ball to drop low before hitting a crazy forehand
You could tell Ma Long was by far the best player of the ones Xu faced in these.......those rallies were insane, you couldn't even see the ball half the time they were hitting so fast

Why are the last three duels? Coz, they show the most exciting, insanely incredible points. Liang JK, Fan ZD and Ma L are the toughest opponents for Xu Xin coz the know each other's game so well and are able to counter before out doing each other. Sadly, there might NOT be another PENHOLDER CLOUD WALKING like Xu Xin as most players have turned to shake hand. But here it clearly shows if you know how to use a weapon, you can still find the target. (BTW, Xu Xin was world #1 in 2013 and #3 in 2022, the only penholder in world top ten). The athleticism Xu Xin plays at combined with his insane coordination is just so impressive. Probably overall one of the great athletes in the world.
No one in the history of Chinese Table Tennis is like him treating the game as an art to play! My salute!
His coach is Ma Lin and it shows, their playing is very similar in several shots, they're both artists
