iran only need this fighter jet for dogfights with enemy fighter if it was necessary but not fo it own operations
Why are fighter jets being used in the first place?
Why don't we use land-based missiles instead of fighter jets for precision attacks?
There are two kinds of missiles: cruise missiles, which are accurate but lack range, and ballistic missiles, which are almost limitless in range but have very poor accuracy.
Fighter jets are used to deliver precision attacks with air-launched cruise missiles.
But why did they have to be air-launched?
Cruise missiles can't be long-range due to a problem known as "the tyranny of the rocket equation." For range, you require fuel. Fuel increases the weight, which decreases the range. So the answer they came up with was to move the missile close enough to the target with an aircraft, then launch the cruise missile. and for longer range they made aircraft carrier to move the fighter jet closer to target
But why don't we make ballistic missiles as accurate as cruise missiles to eliminate the need for fighter jets and aircraft carriers?
The ballistic missile that could go long range had a problem of its own known as "REENTRY PLASMA EFFECTS" which happens When slamming air particles into each other as fast as a reentering object does, the extreme heat from all this friction raises the temperature of the air so high that the gas becomes ionized, forming essentially a cloud of plasma around the outer surface of the craft in the reentry phase that interrupt the radio communications between a vehicle and ground station.
In simple terms, you can't guide it. Therefore, long-range ballistics are only used for nukes that lack of accuracy isn't an issue.
So obviously, when Iran announced that they somehow developed ballistic missiles with pinpoint accuracy, everyone dismissed it as propaganda. Even after Iran released the footage of a ballistic missile hitting the target with pinpoint accuracy,. Iran was accused of Photoshopping, despite the lack of any evidence to suggest the footage was altered. But after the attack on the US air base that all missiles achieved bullseye, everyone had to accept the fact that, just like the Persians were the only ones with Damascus steel technology, now they repeated similar unachievable technology. Uzi Robbin, the father of Israel's missile defense, said this in reaction to Iran's pinpoint ballistic missile . "By pushing a button, they were able to accomplish a task that we need to risk the lives of pilots and costly fighter jets to do the same. and they probably were under air conditions when they pushing the button"
Conclusion: iran doesn't need any aircraft or aircraft carrier to diliver precision attacks

Have you compared Russia’s situation before the sanctions and Iran’s situation before the sanctions? Did you compare the budget of both countries? There is no room for comparison. The European Union countries do not suffer from any problems, and what you are saying is correct. Europe manufactures weapons before Iran, but Iran began the industry 45 years ago, so reaching this level is considered an achievement. As for your comparison of Iran and America, it is considered a shock! Did you know that America's budget is 78 times larger than Iran's?!! As for your saying that America manufactures its weapons without relying on any foreign country, it is funny. From where does America get its resources? Oil gas aluminum? It seems that you do not know what sanctions are and you believe that imposing sanctions means that countries will not produce weapons with the help of another country 🤣🤣

And for Iran..? The best thing they could do (once they really get the problems worked out over the course of 5-10 years ... is to make a bunch, fly it a lot, and make a lot of good simulators. The speed and accuracy of their missiles is very high. It goes without saying that Iran's missiles are capable of carrying nuclear warheads. They were always looking for a weapon of deterrence against America and its allies.
It is enough for Iran to target Aramco with a missile, then what will be the price of energy in Europe?
Certainly, American weapons technology is high and Iran does not have those weapons. But Iran made weapons to restrain them.

Iran actually started the self sufficiency in 1980s. The first indegenous F5 looking plane was Azarakhsh and it was not a success. They have reverse engineered the GE engines that are used in the F5, so on that class of plane they install the Iranian version of that GE engine. BTW, HESA is an Iranian Defense Contractor that usually focuses on Helicopters (US, Italian, Russian and also Iranian ones). They next built the Saegheh Fighters (they are usually in Blue color and have twins V Fins. They turned out not to be too bad, with all the weaknesses of the GE engine that thye copied. Saegheh has much better Iranian Avionics, better than what Iran received in the 1960s and 70s with the F5s Iran bought from US. I am not sure how many Saegheh are actually in use (I have read they may have 48 of those, subject to more ibeing built). Then HESA started the design of the Kowsar Fighter (Single Seat as well a the two seater trainer model). I beieve all their test pilots are Iranians. Contrary to what we may assume in the West, I do not believe Iranians allow Russian or Chiese technicians or pilots near their Western made aircrafts (Specifically the F-14s or the R-170) or the Iranian Cruise Missiles or antiships missiles. In fact Chinses had complianed and wanted to know what type of modifications Iran has performed on the Chinese technologies that has made the Iranian versions of Chinese Anti Ship missiles more accurate and extended their range and it appears Iranians have not told the Chinese yet, according to what I heard on one of thier programs. Probably, because Iran wants to compete with China and Russia in some areas, specifically Elecronics, Avionics, and Drones and loitering munitions. I am not sure exactly how many Kosar fighters Iran has built so far, but I heard one crashed and the pilot dies since the ejection seat (possibly made by Iran also) failed to eject the test pilot. I think these are te begining steps for ran and they have not spent as much money as they probably could in their defense industry (specifically fighters) since they know they will not be able to make sufficient quantty to make it worthwhile (juts like any other country). Russian are playing games with them with their on again and off again commitments since 1990s and they only reason they sold the S300 systems tp Iran, was because Iran was going to sue Russia in international courts for breach of contract. That is why, Iran had to spend about 10-12 years to develop its own BAVAR-373 and its latest upgrades that makes that sysrem maybe even better than the Russian S400. I think in the West we may have an inflated view of Russian and Chinese collaboration with Iran in terms of Defense and Nuclear technologies. Iran needs F15 type aircrafts and the SU-35 based on the number that have been shutdown over Ukraine may not be the answer. I think the ideal light fighters for Iran are the modern Sweidish Grippen. I am hoping that once the Mulah's regime is destroyed, Iran would gravitate back to the the Western block who are the natuarl allies of Iran (Not Russia or China).

In case of an all-out war between Iran and Israel/USA, most of these jets will likely be destroyed before becoming airborne. Those that will make it to the air will likely be intercepted by an air-to-air missile shot by an F-16/F-15/F-18/F-35/F-22 before the Iranian pilot will know what has hit him. That being said, kudos to the Iranian engineers. Iranian people are educated and hard working people. A tragedy that they live under such a terror-spreading regime.
