Mike if you're familiar with duck seal, it's a product that you use to fill up conduits, and holes that you're not using in electrical, and it's black and it's a putty, very easy to form, the last time I used it I found it at home Depot in the electrical department. 👍
I really like the folding tonneau covers. They make life so much easier. The one you got is the creme à la creme of all tonneau covers! That tailgate is so awesome. Makes getting in and out so much safer. Have a great weekend my brother. Enjoy that beautiful country out there. Gorgeous!!!
Looks great. I get mine Monday. Had one on my ram I had, ow have the same truck as yours. I just had my side windows tinted, along with 50% on the windshield and a brow. Absolutely love the GMC 2500HD with the Duramax.
Getting that GMC outfitted to your liking I see. I like that top. I put a 1 piece cover on mine back in the day and ended up keeping it off 90% of the time. I like that yours is easily opened and secured. Looking good mike.
Mike, great comprehensive video. I had the MX4 on my 2016 Sierra and loved it. I ran the drain tubes out the front, drilled through the plugs on an angle ( off of the truck) then put a 90 degree insert and about 6 inches more drain tube between the bed and the cab. Worked great. Occasionally would get only minimal water in the bed. I just got a new Sierra with the multipro tailgate. Does the MX4 mounting rail interfere the the fold up grab assist bar ?
I will have to check but I would think the last panel would have to be open to use it, I will check tomorrow and get back with you if you reply to my reply, thanks for watching 😀😀

Can you tell me what the dimension is from the top of one of the floor ridges to the bottom of the cover rails and panels? Would really appreciate it. I have an HD AT4 but I don't think that will be different than the Denali.
when folded all the way up, does it obstruct the camera view at all from the third brake light? Seems like the perfect time to use the rear view camera mirror feature, assuming that camera is not obstructed by the cover folded up to that window.
Hi. I just picked up a 2023 Sierra 1500 Denali with cover installed. On the rubber bumpers they installed it where the bumper is over the painted area and not just on the window at around 13:15 in the video where you noted to keep it further in to miss the painted area. Do you think it makes a difference?
If you were just resting it there and were careful it would probably be ok , but if you were driving with it up I would a say no, you should be able to get a bumper that would work, if it’s a Bakflip you can call them and they will send you some different thickness bumpers for free, hope this helped 😀😀oh yeah congratulations on your new truck, they are so awesome 😀😀
@@DesertRatFabrication thanks. Another question. Been raining a looked inside and a lot of water inside. Water was coming in along the rails and near the drain tube. I went to check the drain tubes. I pulled the tube off the drain on the rail and water gushed out. It was as if the tube was blocked or kinked. They installed the tube through the hole on the side but did not trim the tube. I pulled the tube out and they put the entire tub in there. I am assuming it got kinked or turned up so I decided to cut the tube so only 1/2" to an 1" sticks through the hole. A few hours later (still raining here) I check the tube and no water gushed out like before. Too wet inside from before to tell if this alleviates all the leaks. I looked at doing it through hole on the cab side but decided to use the side hole. Any issue with it just half an inch to an inch of the tube sticking through the hole? I guess it might run down the wall in the cavity but should not get inside from there.

The old beds were 6’6” they added 3 more inches to the new ones but for some reason the bakflip lists it at 6’6” but I had the plant look it up and they said their info says it’s 6’9”

I think Mike mentioned that the camera mirror worked with the cover folded all the way up. But a confirmation of this would be helpful.

What did the insidenofnypur bed measure? Mine measures 6'8 1/2". I don't see that size option.

No that’s the good part rear camera mirror doesn’t get covered, but the rear view mirror is( when not in camera mode)👍👍
