I agree for the most part of the list. A couple mentions for some of my favourite boys: Arms Dealer - honestly, this guy is surprisingly consistent if you go melee damage + speed + some harvesting to smooth out your income. 33% on melee damage mods is means you're having at least +1 melee dmg every time you take it. Speed is something I feel all melee characters sorta need to maneuver effectively. And you just chop for so much, everything is being almost 1-shot, including elites. Range you should keep around 0 for attack speed to be optimal. Yes, it require some shop management - and you should start thinking about elite fight 1-2 waves in advance, but that is the price to pay :) Chunky - he is so damn good with shields. You take all the armor + Max HP you see. You don't need speed on it, you can take all negative speed items, just let them come to you. You also want to solve that recovery factor - so everything that heals you (heal turret, monkeys) or make fruits better/spawn more often (all +HP from consumables, gardens, more trees etc) are S tier items on him. Ignore HP regen, you just have so much HP it won't matter anyways. Just focus on armor+dodge+ some attack speed.
A mention: Artificer can actually grow damage. Ranged damage still affects shredders and launchers to the point you won’t see any difference with any other ranged character.
I think what you're missing with Lucky is that it's an engineering character. If you run engineering, the attack speed downside is heavily mitigated. Lucky still has a hump around rounds 8-12 but after that the amount of money you've made with all that luck pays off. Additionally if you go engineering you get to completely ignore any stats except for armor, dodge, hp, and engineering, meaning you can often take even more luck or harvesting items. Get the item that gives you more money on recycle and your econ gets real nice. On top of that, engineering and luck synergize. Engineering likes trees because of the item that spawns turrets from them. Luck likes trees because luck is likely to invest in fruit healing up items. Luck likes garden, which engineering also likes, since it'll pick up improved tools. Luck is likely to increase your chance of finding better turrets as well, as well as important pieces of the engineering toolkit. I'd also say the 50% xp down is less of a downside than it looks like. If on average you're picking up higher quality upgrades, it winds up not mattering that you got less levels.
I love how in this game everyone's tier lists look so different. I think this is not too far off from my opinions with a couple of notable exceptions: I feel the same way about Streamer as you do about Jack. Actually, I rolled Jack right after finishing streamer, and I did it 2nd or 3rd try. I also had a lot of fun doing it. I actually forgot the game could be fun after spending like 10 hours on streamer. Maybe I got lucky and I was just so glad to be done with streamer, but I had a great time on Jack. Fisher is strong. I think a little overrated, he's not S tier or anything. All he gets is flat damage which is a ton but you still need to find everything else, and survive. Bull is very weak imo. You need the harvest bag item or you have to just play like the pacifist. For a character that is supposed to be about running full speed into enemies, you spend the majority of your time running away. You can't get enough defense to hang out in the enemies for more than a second without a super high roll. I really hate this character actually. Golem same deal. Not being able to heal is a huge downside for me. It took me quite a few tries to finish this guy off. One of the weakest for me. Renegade, Crazy, and Mage feel really meh to me. Doctor is S 100%, it is genuinely impossible to lose. Even putting him in A tier is way too low somehow. Wildling is boring but pretty good I think, 30% lifesteal of the bat is a ton, and it's nice to never worry about sustain. I like solider. Mutant is kinda bad I think, and fighting stick, the weapon literally made for him, still sucks with him lol. Unpopular ones I agree with you on: One-armed is strong, Speedy with lances is amazing (or shurikens, whatever tbh), glutton is really good. Explorer is incredible, S+, and I love going chopper actually and feel like I'm slashing through the jungle. The bonus healing on it is more valuable than pruner I think, as you already get so much fruit from trees. You don't need regen or lifesteal at all. Cryptid is a weird one that doesn't seem like it should be amazing but it kinda is, I win every time. I think Hunter is good too but most people don't like his squishyness. F streamer in case I forgot to say that. And also, streamer sucks so bad and I hate him so much.
Bull is top of S. You don’t need economy on a character that doesn’t use weapons and has a 400% flat damage multiplier. He’s one of the few characters I can do D5 150% runs without breaking a sweat lok
@brandonkruse6412 to this day I still don't love him. I think I figured out I need to build more damage and dodge on him than I was. I was only focused on armor, hp, and regen.
i have to disagree with a couple of choices and reasonings, the saver (my favourite class) is better than that, you don't keep around 500 materials, you ideally want around 1k by wave 9 and 10k+ by wave 20, the bonus damage you're getting from that is massive. the second is the ghost, i built it with 2 of each ethereal weapons and it was one of the easiest run i've ever had thanks to all the different bonuses i didn't have to buy from the shop.
I'm surprised you hate ghost. I enjoyed it, simply took all the ethereals and scaled them into decent weapons (shiv most important ofc), then went up to 90% dodge and found a couple tardigrades, which meant I had to get hit 30 times on average to take damage once, and even then I'd still survive thanks to the ~50 hp from scepter, heal with a stew of lifesteal/regen/consumable and be ready to get hit again unless I was very very unlucky. How good is an extra 30% dodge? Well 90% dodge is on average equivalent to ~110 armour no? You have to build up to it, but otherwise it's not bad. Yeah, there's some nasty stuff hidden in that "on average", but I like him. One thing I'd recommend with ethereals is combining weapons asap so that you'll waste fewer kills between buff procs. On the other hand, I completely hated golem. Will give them another go I guess.
I wouldn't say I necessarily hate Ghost, I just found it a bit prone to dying early to mid game to any small mistake. In general I think I'd only say the F tier characters were ones I truly hated playing. And I still hate all of them as of this comment lol, I tried playing each of them at least once more since then and unfortunately I still suck with all of them about as bad as before.
@@Gabriot You're far better than I, so I'm taking your word that those guys suck lol. Already struggle enough with the "good" characters. I suppose I still have more stuff to unlock though. It'd be easier to beat everything on 0 instead of 5, but I'm too stubborn.
This tier list is pretty good but I disagree with a few things Glutton deserves to go in bottom s Explorer is amazing deserves to stay in top s Knight bro omg he deserves top 1# in s tier ITS INSANE Lucky is pretty good but i recco other characters with luck like glutton Speedy is mid bro deserves to be bottom s

Chunky wants to run the Choppers since they scale off your health. You can get them pretty beefy and melt bosses. Alien Eyes x2 for good clear
Pretty good tier list with beer list right here

bull only gets good when you put a 1 damage tick item on him then he just blows up constantly and its funny

You should try Chunky with the Cleaver weapon. I’m pretty sure they added it to buff Chunky lol
Decent list though multitasking is criminally underrated you where saying the only weapon you can use is sticks then use sticks
That explosion guy at least a tier
