I heard in Siberia, they run the exhaust from a running tractor to the exhaust of a cold one and wait for it to migrate thru the open valve and heat the cylinder, water, oil everything. Then start it. Now they have two tractors to thaw out two more!

Word of advice on your grain bin location....plan for future expansion not just you guys but your kids too, Electrical power will there be enough for more bins+fans ,ease and speed of dumping trucks, will you always be useing augers, maybe a grain leg down the road in 15-20 years???Plan your space carefully so you can add later. I'll pretty much guarantee you'll be adding more bins with in 10 years and they'll be bigger, seen it happen many many times.

Love watching your operation. Mr. Welker, you must be proud to be able to work beside these two fine young men. What a great team you all make and the accomplishments you have achieved. Farming is not for the faint of heart, the hours you all put in and the sacrifices made regarding all aspects of this operation probably stun many? If this were an hourly job, many would say "forget this! I'm going to Walmart"...but I think what draws me to this channel is that you are working for yourselves...your successes (and failures) are all a result of you skill, determination, and divine providence, I don't think the value of that can be expressed in monetary terms? You all represent what is great about America and the American farmer. Looking forward to the completion of this and future project. Merry Christmas to the entire Welker family, 2020 is going to be a great one!
