Hello. My son told me to buy him this and I have a few questions. The first question is that can you just connect it to a laptop? Also do you need the power cable if you are using a monitor?
i have it for over a year, i would not recommend it. Colours are really really bad, i bought new LG one like 2 mounth after this one, it is cheap, and only buy it if you got low budget
Not really, it performs pretty well, just the standard change when you look from underneath like if you were laying in a bed watching something from a meter away or so.
Acid Elie yes it does but there is another version of this monitor that has only vga so you should check before buying but this monitor is only good for for a secondary monitor or an office monitor not a gaming monitor the response time isn’t good and the refresh rate sucks only 60hz hope this helps

5ms display for this price, is a steal!; If it lasts a year. Ordering one tonight. You should have run some vids & taken a few close-up takes of the display front and sides whilst the vid plays. Cheers 🍻
Jayydm No it’s not 1ms, this isn’t a great monitor and shouldn’t be used as a primary if you’re a competitive player. 60hz isn’t that great. It’s good as a secondary monitor however
Hey thanks for the video! I brought this monitor for my first build but i didnt realise both my motherboard and graphics card arent compatible with VGA cables and needs DVI instead. So im currently taking the monitor apart in hopes of selling it but the monitor just wont lift up from the stand. Is there any advice u can give?
I’m using this monitor with my PS4 but I can’t hear no sound unless I’m using my headset with my controller, does the monitor not have its own speakers ?
My friend told me you can use PC Monitors via HDMI to PS4 so it should work yes my friend, but not the VGA adapter version of the monitor like I got. They also sell a HDMI and Display Port version which costs more but the HDMI one should work. Hope it helped.
You can't man, you have to buy the HDMI model. Perhaps a VGA to HDMI adapter might work and solve this but Id recommend just buy the HDMI model, hope that helps.

I cant say whether it comes with a VGA cable, although Im pretty sure this did so perhaps the other model versions come with Display cable or HDMI cable but I cant say for sure since I didnt buy the HDMI one.

You can downscale it via windows like any other monitor if thats what you meant
Did you change any settings? Mine looks like it has a gray transparent foil over it. Colors look greyed out.
I didnt actually modify any settings but with the software I think you can.
