It's also worth noting the treasure piles you craft are for more than just aesthetics, they have a reuseable few mins long buff you can get by interacting with them, extremely useful when defending against sieges or hordes at your base. The horde that spawns after reactiving the forge is worth fighting as well, as the enemies that spawn are much weaker than the usual ones (a single arrow will one shot most of them) and they all drop a lot of great loot, including black diamonds.
Additional Tips 1. Build an Oven ASAP. If you are in the elven quarter, you should be able to to build. I guess you missed it. This will allow you to create meals and take them with you. Think of these as HP potions that also eliminate hunger. 2. Build the Shieldwall at the Elven Furnace. You are only able to equip 1 Masterwork item. This shield NEVER loses durability and NEVER needs repaired. I just entered the Crystal Depths and I still haven't found another Masterwork item, so you might as well build and use it. 3. Enchant your weapons at a rune table. I put this off for way too long. I use the thunder enchant. It works great for sieges and raids.
I have found one other Masterwork item so far . . . it is a torch that never goes out that can be crafted . I believe it is called the Zarok Torch, or something like that. Since I am using the crafted Mining Helmet, which has a light that never goes out either, I think crafting the Shieldwall makes more sense. I'm not sure if the Zarok Torch gives you any kind of buff (or an enemy debuff!); it would be cool if it did.
@@Rilianawakened321 the best thing about the torch is it stays active even when not in your hand so you always have continuous light. It’s my go to mastercraft unless I’m specifically going to mine or fight. Oh also when you find the masterwork pick make it is amazing.
@@HamadaHamada-qx9bx Right on! Yes, have the Quarrymaster pick now, and it IS amazing! Will mine any ore or gem, and wow . . . it is fast! I still like the Miner's Helmet, as it does give enough light to get around in darker places (not as much as a torch, but ok), and leaves both hands free for fighting! It seems the Zarok Torch does the same, but the forward shadow effect can be a bit disconcerting/annoying . . . (to some of us, anyway!)
@@Rilianawakened321 no doubt the forward shadow is awkward but nice attention to detail! I have the mining helmet but sadly I suck at blocking so I really need the highest armor on I can. Im just about to get their 3 armor so maybe I can afford to lose a bit now. I really wish that the torch wasn’t considered a master craft item that or maybe you could modify a helmet to have a crystal on it. 😂
if you get the shield called "shield wall" its an unbreakable shield and blocks everything even steam vents and poison only shield needed really as it dont take damage either never have to repair it... its rather OP ive taken the bosses solo using it😀
The hordes should end after a certain number are killed, I got to the forge and spawned the horde and my friend and I fought through it. After killing a few the horde ended and the remaining enemies all tunneled under ground/ran off. There were a lot of enemies but it did eventually end. If it doesn't it might be a glitch/bug.
I have killed the first 5 orcs and the horde has left. I have not tested it yet but perhaps the horde can be stopped if you kill enough quickly at the start.
you get your first black diamond for defeating the hoard, it not hard just use choke point, you could even build small base if you really wanted but its not needed
I think rebuilding old bases costs the same materials as building a new one, but if course old bases usually have walls ready. I dislike the building because clipping it's such difficult thing.
The forge hoard wasn't bad at all solo. I just stayed in that little tunnel off to the side of the forge and took them out one at a time. Some did come up behind but that wasn't bad. I was decked out in T1 gear though.
A multilayer game like all the others which is very good for lord of the rings fans but the missing matchmaking mechanic makes this a single player game not a multilayer. Why this has no matchmaking is beyond me
I am assuming since I can't find it that this game did not release on Steam? Shame, I was looking forward to this game when I first saw it a year or so ago and didn't even know it released until I saw this video.
They need a better marketing team, me and a couple friends all were anticipating this game and none of us even realized it released already. Hopefully it does well and goes to Steam at some point in the future.@@aweismantel14
unplug them from the USB ports, and try something else in those ports to make sure they work, if they do then replug the mouse and keyboard, if they don't then plug them into other USB ports. If you have a controller plugged in, maybe unplugging it can help.
Youre not forced to ,in any way. You chose to come to a video ,that you yourself ask why peoole would watch it, and make a comment. The title isn't misleading at all so anyone who watches it will know. It's a little weird that people are confused by early tips and tricks videos. Some people watch them becsuse they have very little time to play in the day and prefer a little head start on knowledge. That comment was just plain silly.
No reason to no true Scotsman gamers, there's clearly people that enjoy games in a million different ways. Some people might be trying to catch up to friends. Others may be checking to see if they missed things. The people that don't want to risk ANY spoilers won't watch videos. This only covers the first couple hours of gameplay anyway, not like there's story beats to spoil, and that's not exactly a clever puzzle to find have to find pieces on the floor in the area. Also, in the UA-cam game, a tips video early on is the only way it'll ever get picked up by the algorithm.

0:53 Elven Wood is pretty early, too. So if your world runs out off it, just load and loot another realm
For the first horde, Take them to the cave bears. 1 bear easily kill half of them, plus bears demolish trees just by touching. Its a double whammy

The part about gold coins doesn't seem correct. I repaired a statue, got gold. Repaired another one, got a recipe. Both in Elven Quarter.

my part for durins axe was on first floor just after the first base location well before i came near the mines
I used your code last night when I bought it! Thanks for covering it so I could notice it!
Those lights that hang down from some dwarven buildings, can we turn them on? We can repair them but I see no options to turn them on
Very much want to know this... Feel like I'm wasting torches
goo d job broseph
Elven wood drops naturally in the elven quarter I've not had to cut down a single elven tree
Love the game! Thanks for these tips Jade!
is this game soloable?
Yes, I play solo :)
How did you manage to have enough diamonds to forge the mithril spear? I'm really stuck with that (not black diamons)
Nice tips in there Jade

Its on the epic store, not released on steam.

Yeah, it's a Epic store exclusive so most likely not coming to Steam.
Good thing downloading epic and creating an account only takes 5 mins brother

I'm having trouble connecting to online services on PC and forced to play offline. Has anyone else had this issue?
for me, durins first axe part was floating in the sky...
for me too!
Is it worth buying Return to moria? And does it have a finished plot? :D
Help anyone, I can't use my mouse and keyboard what can I do to fix it ?

Great video, but you need a better mic.

why spoil things to others? every normal gamer wants raw experience when first time playing.. Idk who would watch this video

Why would you even comment ? Let people enjoy what they want. Yeesh
