Eddie bringing back the Saturday morning cartoon vibes. I’m like a kid waking up to watch my favorite stuff 😂. Great dedicated review Eddie ,appreciate all the hard work and content.
Good break down and review, Eddie. I have not used many of these products so it is good to see how they worked for you and I agree the price point is really solid.
Damn dude, your head was straight steaming when you took off your hat! Laughed my ass off 😂 Great video as always my dude. Good to see you're giving P&S some love. Is it the end all be all? Hell no. Is it great for the price point? Absolutely. There are much better products, but hard to find better for how much you get and at the price you pay. Still waiting to use Crystal Wash and the 3-part Carpet Cleaning System.
Ya I cast judgement way to fast I based everything off beadmaker , swift but look pass that stuff they have some sleepers for sure. Appreciate you watching my head was cooking like bacon
Eddie, I am a big fan of P&S products. After a week of crappy weather here in eastern Massachusetts, aka snow, rain, snow and 4 straight days of rain, my wife's 2014 Ford Edge, aka the "spousal transportation unit" was filthy rotten dirty. I took it to one of the local "pay and sprays" and brought my "quick clean kit "(Sprayers and pump sprayers with P&S Crystal Wash, Brake Buster, Sonax Beast wheel cleaner, Pearl and Absolute) with me. While waiting in line for a bay to open up, I sprayed the paintwork with, Crystal Wash Brake Buster and Beast on the wheels. When I pulled into the bay, I sprayed Pearl on the paint, Absolute on the roof and glass surfaces. I used the rinse function to rinse the encrusted salt and dirt off the car. The spousal transportation unit is ceramic coated, this combination got the paint uber clean and the hydrophobics of the coating back. I brought it home, turned the garage heater on for a few minutes and did a rinseless wash with Absolute. I used Dr. Beasley's Bead Hero to add some shine and boost the protection. It came out mint!
If you have a garage, you must have a driveway and hose. Why not just use the hose and give it a wash? I’m in your general area and I wash all winter. As long as it’s above 32 I’m washing. It’s not bad, just dress for it. Use warm water in the buckets and use rubber gloves. I’m not a fan of waterless washes any time, but especially on winter road grime.
yo we went back and forth on your brake buster vid in a real constructive way. i unsubscribed then came back. i’ve always been a fan, but damn this video is where it’s at, no one should want a straight fan boy or someone who’s gonna just caca all over a product in a review. but this vid really put out some good vibes. keep doing what you do and keep being you brotha ✌🏽

That brake buster foam 😍 that’s pretty fun! Nice job. Great to start my Saturday drinking my coffee watching the foam. Ty and looking forward to interior. I ve never tried any of their interior stuff.
Eddie, great real world test from both you and Jamie using Pearl and Crystal Wash. I am a huge believer in both products. They are an amazing combo! Three years ago when I first tried Pearl, my first thought was how good it was at the recommended dilution. Which turns out to be about 25% of the cost of most of the other soaps we see advertised by Pan and others. So, I decided that instead of using each company's recommended dilution to compare product effectiveness, I would instead compare $1 of each soap in my Foam-Canon and or bucket. For example, I used $1 of one of your favorite soaps against PS Pearl. Your soap gave me 4 oz and PS Pearl was 13 oz. Guess who blew the other away! Pearl obliterated all six soaps I tested in both slickness and foam. So, dollar-for-dollar, P&S products are superior.
Eddie breaking down the P&S line, i like it! They make a good quality product at a great price. They're used by detailers and enthusiasts all the time Must be doing something right, plus cleanmaker 💪💪

Great video Eddie, I've been a p&s fan for a long time lots of there products like almost everything down to the fabric coating my honesty a handful of the products SUCKS
Great review Eddie! Been using Brake Buster for a few years love that stuff. As I've gotten into rinsless washes recently I've been interested in Absolute. Gonna have to give that a try
Eddie, first, thanks for posting a review on a Saturday. It's nice to have a coffee, relax, and watch your video. Second, excellent job. You covered a lot of detail and did a thorough analysis. What temperature was your garage when you applied the Crystal Wash?
P&S is a fabulous product line and you can do wonderful work with their products. Crystal Wash is a product I need to try because living by the airport in Nashville I get a lot of fallout on top of the car as well as the back end. Another gem is their carpet cleaning system. My son is eleven and he is a big boy. He loves to play football and his clothes are just filthy. Terminator and Bomber to amazing work as a pre clean for laundry. His football pants are still bright white. Appreciate the video Eddie!
Hey neil appreciate you watching, I have the carpet system its pretty good the trick is not to use a lot cause its gets hard to work with spray some on let it sit steam and done
Best thing with the boss model is the ability to connect directly to product bottle. Using the metering tips then keeps the solution light extending your product.
Ya next brand im testing in a few weeks is either griots , or shine supply, what I did was take the whole foam cannon apart put a 1,25 orifice that I knew was a 1.25 re tapped it and now testing it
I ordered some P&S Absolute and Paint gloss. I have a gallon of Xpress cleaner that I still have to go through. I find it leaves a film or gets streaky occasionally, also has weird smell in the heat. I went through a gallon of brake buster very quick. Worked okay, not the best. Ceramic gloss is my favorite spray sealant so far. I also ordered some Xtreme solutions tsunami apc. May be my go to for interiors. Still trying to find my favorite rinseless wash too, as I haven’t used soap for a while.
@@elonsus9747 Wanda loves xpress dilute it 1:1 and it will get rid of there film build up. Ceramic gloss is awesom and for brake buster for the price is super good. You should give hyper cleanse , tem apc and super clean from nxtzen a gander
I want to give P&S 👍👍 for value, crystal wash $30 is gallon, and the soap $9 was 32oz bottle but a gallon is only about double that price. Very good value and performs so is it better if trying to make your detailing time profitable.
Agreed its super affordable and it works well not all there products are my favorite but the stuff I am enjoying crystal wash, pearl , absolute drying aid, brakebuster I could run my business off of this
Great video Eddie. I like Xpress. It smells good and is good and I like it for our interior. I put my Boss foam cannon on the shelf. I've always used the metering system, but may pull that out and do normal dilutions.
The Exspress Interior for when I need foamy cleaning for non maintenance cars. If it's well maintained or at least often, then I use Swift. I used Swift on my wife's car since it gets trashed by the kids. I did not tell her and one day she came home with Orange Vanilla frozen ice cream. Said she been craving it. I explained later the scent of Swift and she had been wondering for days why she smelt that. 😅 Leaves a nice matte finish. P&S Undresed Tire cleaner with break buster is the bomb. Even with rinsless wash rinse in garage the tires and rims come out spotless. Also lastly the Defender been testing last 6 months. The self cleaning is insane and gloss and sickness is there as well. Great value for price. #Greasy Sacks
@@Ecdetails I like the Swift. Little foamy still not as much as Express but for once a month clean and wipe it keeps dust down and makes everything a lot easier to clean. I compare it to Turtle Wax Graphene interior which is also good but for the Wholesale Price of P&S Swift is a better value in Gallon. Great on floor mats as well.
Great review brother! Crystal wash has peaked my interest for a while, just never pulled the trigger to buy it but might have to after seeing this. I was using P&e before DIY and there’s some solid products in the like. I was using their APC but diy is definitely better.
Awesome video man! I agree Pearl is very slick. What did you think of their glass cleaner true vue? I’ve been liking it so far I gotta try crystal wash soon
@@Ecdetailsthey recommend 10:1 for summer cleaning and 4:1 for winter cleaning but I’m liking the 10:1 dilution more the winter one dries too fast for me
P&S has some of the best values in detailing for sure. You get a lot of bang for your buck so to speak. A good solution for people on a budget or for new detailers just starting out that want to purchase gallon size containers for reasonable prices that work.
They’re affordable not cheap couldn’t have said it any better…Absolute, brake buster, paint gloss, and bead maker/ clean maker stay in my arsenal..paint gloss is a very dynamic product in my opinion, I know you don’t like bead maker but I still like using it as a drying aid and to give wheels some protection, I haven’t tried dynamic dressing but have been using p&s shine all dressing lately and I like it, haven’t tried their 3 step carpet cleaning products but I have used just the carpet bomber and had good results…I’m gonna try some of their interior cleaners next and crystal wash
Crystal wash is soo good , carpet system does light work if you use a little and let it work “. I have never tried paint gloss, beadmaker just can’t hold a candle to my current drying aid in performance ease of use and slickness / gloss
@@Ecdetails I also recently starting using paint gloss as a vacuum aid as recommended by Sydni from P&S you mist it on the carpet and it cuts the static barrier and helps all the particles on the carpet come up
Wanna get a mind blowing drying aid ..... Add 2 oz of P&S Paint Gloss in that 32oz bottle of P&S Absolute (diluted 256:1). Step it up another notch after drying by using P&S Dream Maker to get an extremely warm shine.
Yep, for the purpose of a drying aid or even lubrication for a Clay Towel. I found it ramps up the slickness, while adding a nice lil shine and a slick feeling to the paint. The Price is Right... 60 cents for a 32oz. bottle of this combo. Paint Gloss, Dream Maker, Bead Maker and Absolute seem to all play well together. Dream Maker is my favorite for its warm glow. It definitely has its place in a detailing arsenal.
Crystal Wash looks like a sleeper product. The Pearl at 5 ounces isn't that inexpensive vs other high quality products. Can Crystal wash be applied in sun a cool panel or only in the shade ? Brake Buster straight is a decent product used for a weekly tire and wheel cleaner in my experience. Nice to see older products in a line have still a good use today.
I’ll have fo try crystal wash in the sun - but is good man. The pearl cost per use even in 4 oz is cheaper then other soaps now it’s if the best in the world no but you saw it great foam pulled it down easy spray off - anyone starting out I believe this would be a better choice the honey dew snow foam and Mr pink .
EC are you comfortable going from Crystal Wash right into a rinseless? Could be a fast way to wash clay seal with that extra decon step without having to use a hose for an iron remover rinse off.
I don’t understand how you can not like Beadmaker, the slickness and gloss is still unmatched by any other product that I’ve used. And when used as a drying aid after every wash it is extremely easy to use. It’s a special product for those of us that use it and enjoy it. For me it’s been game changer
I get it man , I have tested it against my normal drying aid. Amplify , Adam’s slick and shine (og) , valor , ride shine there are just others that are slicker. Bead maker takes to much product and collects more dust then what I’m use to
The reason why P&S products are cheaper in price is as you know all products are made it house. There is no middle man where they have to pay a blender and then other companies need to charge more. I believe if P&S didn’t have Dave in house their products would cost a lot more.
Yes and I also mentioned that in my video that if Yvan decided to go out of business and ads I would use Pearl but for the cost and this soap can be used as a rinseless , you don’t have to use 4 oz and is a good bucket soap
You're a crazy man Eddie but I love you! P&S products have changed the way I view detailing chemicals because they just work and get the job done like mentioned are budget friendly. I've tried a few brands before it and was always disappointed. Thanks for giving them another shot because I feel they are a pretty decent brand to have in the bag. I do have a question though, I am in the market for a new Iron Remover.. what would you suggest? You may have stated your choice in one of your videos but I'm a busy guy these days so I may have forgotten. Heck link one of your videos if I may have missed watching it. Thanks for keeping real brother!
Hey bro are you looking for a legit iron remover or wheel cleaner Iron remover Sidero Labocostmetica can be diluted 1:3 and its amazing ADS Wheel if you an iron remover based one ETHOS wheel best non smelling wheel cleaner
@@Ecdetails Most definitely a legit iron remover for paint specifically. I'm quite content with MWC and HJUL when I need that extra bite for those dirty wheels. Gotta try those you listed sometime soon! I asked because I am almost out of my gallon of P&S IB and figured I would try something new.
Xpress Interior Cleaner smells terrible like a melted pineapple lifesaver BUT FOAMs and cleans really well with boars hair brush diluted 1:1. The finish is really really good. No real residue or shine either....however not matte. Its a really nice finish.
P&S (especially the Double Black line) is one of the few brands that I will just flat out recommend to anyone looking beyond the typical big box/auto parts store products. They just work without a ton of effort, are high quality and affordable. It's a family business that takes care of their customers and employees. Yes they sold now...but that's just the reality of business when you have two owners who are nearing retirement and no family who want to continue...but for the time being they are still involved in the business. They get smoke because they have 2 million products (1.5 million of which are dressings) but they are straddling two worlds. One is their old school distributors and supply trucks that are selling to car washes/dealerships who have institutional inertia and keep buying certain products. The other is the independent pro detailer or enthusiast/semi-pro consumer (who can sometimes be some of the most toxic and tribal people in the online space). Those people need to chill a bit and realize that not every brand has to have 100% bangers in order to be good. Your own self-worth or your opinion of others shouldn't be predicated on what detailing products we like or don't like (and whether someone else agrees with you or not). The reality is that most detailing brands will have a handful of gems that they really poured a lot of effort into and that standout from the competition...and then they fill in the gaps from there with products that get the job done but don't necessarily excel. There are many ways to clean a car, and each person has their own preferences, style and preferred methods. What is a standout product for one person may not be for another, and that's okay. Eddie, I know you hate when companies hype trash products and encourage people waste their money. Personally I'm a little more forgiving of that. People who make/sell detail products have one job: to sell their companies' products. Bonus points for educating people how to use them right and innovating on better products to help people be more efficient/profitable. This is why I'll pay a premium for RUPES or some other product from OG that I personally value. Consumers have their own job: caveat emptor. Sometimes we have to make mistakes in order to learn and grow. If someone buys a crappy product, they have to work harder and learn how to make it work. That has the potential to help them become a better detailer...so not all is lost. What really flabbers my gast is when detailing companies/salesmen spread FUD or blow smoke about their competition. My one piece of feedback that I have for DJ/Bradley is to watch that, because it isn't a good look in my honest opinion. Talk about why your products are better, not why you think another product is trash/hype. They're certainly entitled to their own opinion, but it doesn't make me want to buy from them when I see them piling onto whatever the current online opinion of the day is about one of their competitor's products. Just my 2 cents for the day. Bottom line, have fun and use what you like. At the end of the day, dirty cars get clean and scratched cars get shiny.
Thanks for your comment, Jeff. I'm not familiar with how DJ and Bradley behave, but maybe we can inquire about it. They're two guys passionate about their brand and selling quality products. What I appreciate about their ads is how they supported my wife during chemo, demonstrating their kindness. While I agree with your point on product hype, everyone has the right to express their opinions, and constructive feedback can be valuable. Just like companies sells products the consumer has the right to ask , say or use what they want. By the way I just brought some stuff from og doing some upgrades.
@@Ecdetails I've just seen a few things here and there on FB groups (and only their personal profiles, not as ADS.) Nothing outright or egregious, just kind of piling on to someone else's post who was critical of a product in a non-constructive way. To make my point clear, I don't think it was anything they deserve to be criticized for. They were who just popped to the front of my mind when I was writing this. They seem to be great guys, they have awesome products (their wheel coating is stout, my comparison between that and DPT Wheel is neck and neck), and that's amazing what they did for you and your wife.
lol I use brake buster in my IK foam pro 2 and tried adding some of p&s iron remover (I did 8 ounces brake buster and 2.5 ounces iron remover with a little less then 50 ounces of water) on the recommendation of Jamie the cleaner and just that little bit of iron remover made that batch smell horrible
Wow you would defently put absolute in rotation as much as you based it in more than one video I mean brake buster is good I use it. Havent tried crystal wash I have alot stinky fall out remover the soap I dunno prob decent soap
Eddie where are you getting that bottle of Pearl for 9 bucks? On P&S website it's $13.50 and Amazon doesn't offer it in that size. Mind you it's still a crazy affordable price, especially in the gallon/5 gallon sizes. 5 gallons for 81 bucks is real tempting if it's as good as you say.
Also I was under the impression that this soap didn’t foam for the cost and for the way it worked it was worth the 9 bucks I believe some one also sent me something from autopia that had it cheap - I did use 4 oz in the foam cannon but you saw I it is a great ph neutral spa
P&S overall are great cost effective products for the working detailer. With some gem bangers in the lineup for anyone to use regardless of cost. Bangers being like the Interior Express Cleaner, Crystal Wash, Pearl, Absolute, Brake Buster, Beadmaker/Dream Maker (The Clean Maker combo), Enviro-Clean, Carpet Bomb, Enzyme Spot Treat, Finisher Peroxide Cleaner and and a few others. Even their Surface Prep is pretty awesome, you can dilute it, use it as a glass cleaner, etc. Now of you're always chasing "the best" in some particular category, P&S might not always make that top spot, but for the money, they are highly functional with great performance overall.
On the video that p&S has for crystal wash. You are supposed to apply Crystal wash before ypu even wash the video and off course it's supposed to be on a dry surface.
It’s slick for a claybar - for me it’s not as good as my other rinseless I think I said that in this video absolute as a claybar drying aid 64:1 is good
How transparent is P&S? Their labels look like they were crated using the standard Renegade template. Likely blended by Renegade. Would not be surprised if P&S was essentially Renegade's product line with an alternate color/scent.
Is renegade a design software? It looks like Crystal Wash label was revamped as well. If everything was revamped & consistent, I think that’d be cool to give the brand a refresher. Similar to ONR, the older labels looked like it was designed in the 90’s. Less use of the font family Impact (as you see everywhere including Angelwax).
Which one - swift is cheeks . I would buy Pearl again , crystal wash is staying I have brakebuster gallon I always have one and using absolute as a drying aid / claylube makes sense Hard pass on beadmaker
Affordable is a great way to describe the products. Great review! If I had a detailing business, I would use a lot of P&S products because they work great and are more affordable than most. I even like Beadmaker!

Great video Eddie. I like Xpress. It smells good and is good and I like it for our interior. I put my Boss foam cannon on the shelf. I've always used the metering system, but may pull that out and do normal dilutions.
Doing a long term test on the boss foam cannon - took it apart retakes it orifice 1.25, I haven’t used xpress on a full interior yet doing that soon
@@Ecdetails I have the 1.1 installed in mine. I have a 2000/1.2gpm. Think I should switch?
Great video! I love P&S products. That Pearl and CW are the Truth!
Cw is a goto everyone should try it
The Exspress Interior for when I need foamy cleaning for non maintenance cars.
Haha - my wife said the same thing with ethos coconut interior detailer
@@Ecdetails I like the Swift. Little foamy still not as much as Express but for once a month clean and wipe it keeps dust down and makes everything a lot easier to clean. I compare it to Turtle Wax Graphene interior which is also good but for the Wholesale Price of P&S Swift is a better value in Gallon. Great on floor mats as well.
Great video, Eddie! Thanks! I really like P & S. Hey, and thanks for the humour (humor) as well 😊
Thanks for watching
Great review brother! Crystal wash has peaked my interest for a while, just never pulled the trigger to buy it but might have to after seeing this. I was using P&e before DIY and there’s some solid products in the like. I was using their APC but diy is definitely better.
It works good man spray it on let it sit foam on or rinseless on do the contact wash call it good appreciate you watching
I don't do many soap washes, mainly rinseless, but the only soap I've got in the garage is Pearl, just so inexpensive and it works.
It foams good , cleans good and cheap your so right!
Awesome video man! I agree Pearl is very slick. What did you think of their glass cleaner true vue? I’ve been liking it so far I gotta try crystal wash soon
Video dropping tomorrow girls loved it so much we are buying a gallon haha
@@Ecdetailscan’t wait for it! My gallon has been lasting forever since you can dilute it 🙌
@@Bakedbanana007 What dilutions you using ?
@@Ecdetailsthey recommend 10:1 for summer cleaning and 4:1 for winter cleaning but I’m liking the 10:1 dilution more the winter one dries too fast for me
P&S has some of the best values in detailing for sure. You get a lot of bang for your buck so to speak. A good solution for people on a budget or for new detailers just starting out that want to purchase gallon size containers for reasonable prices that work.
Yes it does
They’re affordable not cheap couldn’t have said it any better…Absolute, brake buster, paint gloss, and bead maker/ clean maker stay in my arsenal..paint gloss is a very dynamic product in my opinion, I know you don’t like bead maker but I still like using it as a drying aid and to give wheels some protection, I haven’t tried dynamic dressing but have been using p&s shine all dressing lately and I like it, haven’t tried their 3 step carpet cleaning products but I have used just the carpet bomber and had good results…I’m gonna try some of their interior cleaners next and crystal wash
Crystal wash is soo good , carpet system does light work if you use a little and let it work “. I have never tried paint gloss, beadmaker just can’t hold a candle to my current drying aid in performance ease of use and slickness / gloss
@@Ecdetails I also recently starting using paint gloss as a vacuum aid as recommended by Sydni from P&S you mist it on the carpet and it cuts the static barrier and helps all the particles on the carpet come up
I wonder how crystal wash compares to Jimbos Magic Cleaner. It's an acid cleaner as well.
I have both for me slightly different crystal wash is won’t thr let it crystallize
Wanna get a mind blowing drying aid ..... Add 2 oz of P&S Paint Gloss in that 32oz bottle of P&S Absolute (diluted 256:1). Step it up another notch after drying by using P&S Dream Maker to get an extremely warm shine.
So paint gloss mixed with absolute ?
Yep, for the purpose of a drying aid or even lubrication for a Clay Towel. I found it ramps up the slickness, while adding a nice lil shine and a slick feeling to the paint. The Price is Right... 60 cents for a 32oz. bottle of this combo.
Paint Gloss, Dream Maker, Bead Maker and Absolute seem to all play well together. Dream Maker is my favorite for its warm glow. It definitely has its place in a detailing arsenal.
I’m curious what it is about Bead Maker you don’t like?
👋 so I don’t like how I have to over use for the first time , for the effort I don’t get alot out in terms of use and it’s dusty
Yes Eddie!! Love that series
Thanks for watching
What type of sponge are you using to wash that vehicle it’s in a lot of your videos
Kamikaze sponge Carzilla sells it
@@Ecdetails thanks I appreciate it keep making them awesome videos
Great video once again Eddie, P&s is a really solid brand for value! Did you dilute crystal wash or used it straight?
Appreciate it no I use it straight let it sit 5 mins foam over it , contact wash
Pearl is so good my favorite thing is how well it rinses off💯🔥👊🏼
The rinse off was nice
Pearl is such an underrated soap, especially in the bucket. That thing suds up like a bath bomb lol
It is a great soap
EC are you comfortable going from Crystal Wash right into a rinseless? Could be a fast way to wash clay seal with that extra decon step without having to use a hose for an iron remover rinse off.
I would go

Spray on rinsless as a pre spray and
Do the contact 🧼 I tried it the other day didn’t see an issue

Can crystal wash be used with a rinseless wash?
Yes sir
I don’t understand how you can not like Beadmaker, the slickness and gloss is still unmatched by any other product that I’ve used. And when used as a drying aid after every wash it is extremely easy to use. It’s a special product for those of us that use it and enjoy it. For me it’s been game changer
I get it man , I have tested it against my normal drying aid. Amplify , Adam’s slick and shine (og) , valor , ride shine there are just others that are slicker. Bead maker takes to much product and collects more dust then what I’m use to
Hey Eddie how does diy ceramic gloss stack up against the drying aids you've mentioned
@@Sean-ij3mi I personally haven’t felt anything slicker than BeadMaker once it’s cured. I would like to try DIY

They make great products at an affordable price point. Can’t go wrong with P&S products
Truth!
Great stuff bro. P&S the goat
The reason why P&S products are cheaper in price is as you know all products are made it house. There is no middle man where they have to pay a blender and then other companies need to charge more. I believe if P&S didn’t have Dave in house their products would cost a lot more.
Well see if that stays the same since they were brought out
Eddie you used 5 oz vs something like incredible suds 1 Oz to foam and is a stronger cleaner.
Yes and I also mentioned that in my video that if Yvan decided to go out of business and ads I would use Pearl but for the cost and this soap can be used as a rinseless , you don’t have to use 4 oz and is a good bucket soap

Absolutely smashing the nail on the head. I rarely see a comment on any video that I agree with to the core, but this is it 💯
Thanks for your comment, Jeff.
Hi Dane
@@EcdetailsYo! Great job with this vid 👍👍
