Great video, Eddie! Crystal wash is great stuff! I’ve added it to my process the same ways and it’s bussin. For $22 you can’t beat it. It works well breaking down the road salts before I pre-foam and rinse.

Crystal wash is SO underrated. Great product.

One of the main reasons I bought the Crystal Wash was the fact that (as EC showed) it DOES NOT stain from the rust like iron removers. Using it on a new driveway or a clean one will not get you a complaint from the owner! Saves time trying to wash away that purple residue if using Iron Buster.

Hi Eddie. From what I remember, in the actual video that P.S did on the Crystal wash, it is still recommended that you use iron remover even on the body of the vehicle after using crystal wash.
Also, the vehicle must be dry when applying it.
I don’t know I don’t use iron buster smells like cheeks - I do know if I need iron I use ethos / ads new iron

Took your advice and ordered this stuff…question what do you put in your wheel bucket? Do you put whatever wheel cleaner your using or do you put whatever car wash soap your using ?
No to the wheel bucket always spray on
1. Then agitate
2. Then spray what ever wheel cleaner you want

I wouldn't consider a ph of 2.4 being a mild acid. Any issue with using it on a rim with missing/damaged clear? Have you followed crystal wash with an iron remover, if so how did it do?

It’s acidic and works as iron remover ,decon pre soak
I have used crystal wash on a Cadillac ct4 with a rough feel on the paint and after it was washed off the paint was slick and smooth as if I did an iron remover and clay after the iron remover.
Do all of your 32oz bottles leak at the top when you use those trigger sprayers? Every bottle i have leaks with those at the threads when i turn the bottle on its side.
On the tolco sprayers some times but there so cheap I always have like 10 back ups
@Ecdetails ok thanks. Mine are all new but every one of them leaks from the connection point, regardless of the bottle.
@@mikezupancic2182 may sound crazy, but three wrap arounds of Teflon tape on the threads did the trick for me (it leaks because the sprayer doesn’t have a gasket).
@@melansonstevenandrew yes, I've been looking for sprayers with the gasket as a lot of the companies have sprayers with gaskets. You would think a 5 dollar spray head would have one. I'll try the tape. Thank you.

Make sure your pump sprayer is resistant to acids. This will ruin any regular pump sprayer
@@HEMi1995 good point - I have switched over to acid sprayer heads and my pressol to the acid sprayer heads cause anything else fails
At 6:38- 6:41 ish you really over simplified high + low ph=neutralized. There are many factors. Giving a blanket statement like this can actually be detrimental. Not dumping on you, but be informed when you give advice.
“When two solutions with different pH values are mixed, the resulting pH of the solution will depend on the initial pH values and the amounts of each solution that are mixed together. If you mix an acidic solution (pH less than 7) with a basic solution (pH greater than 7), the resulting pH will depend on the relative concentrations of the acidic and basic components. If the acidic and basic components are present in equal amounts, the resulting pH will be close to 7, which is considered neutral. However, if one component is present in excess, the resulting pH may still be acidic or basic, depending on the excess component. The exact calculation of the resulting pH requires knowledge of the initial pH values and the concentrations of the solutions being mixed. This can be determined using the principles of acid-base chemistry and the concept of molarity. In general, when mixing solutions with different pH values, the resulting pH will tend towards the pH of the solution that is present in greater quantity, but the exact resulting pH will depend on the specific concentrations and strengths of the acids and bases involved.”

Why do you not let Crystal Wash dry on the rims first?
On the wheels I never let it dry It’s a mild acid I work it in spray a wheel cleaner over and , on the body before the foam I let it sit 5-10 when I’m doing other stuff

Spray crystal wash soft brush clean the emblems and grills foam on do your thing or crystal wash - some rinseless agitate
