y'all should try the costa North Turn, probably my favorite pair of Costa big head glasses, they are more of a squared off version of the classic aviators
I purchased several pair and they are coming from China but have been held up at sorting facilitie since the 10th of July according to the tracking number. Has this been the normal now with covid ? What's your advice on this thank you.
Hey! Just ordered a pair of oakley Holbrook metal but i cant really stand that i get sunlight in my eyes from both sides of The glasses, really thinking about sending them back and order a pair of Costa del mar permit! What do u guys think about them? Saw you had another video of The permit, The guy to right hade black permit with blue lence but cant decide IF I want them OR The tuna ones, what do u think? Thanks for reply
Please for the love of all things holy convince them to make a Spearo in a larger size i agree with you they’re the best ones ordered them myself and they’re just too small need a Spearo XL
Hey Kyle007! Right!? We are in love with the Spearo but unfortunately, it is a true M fit and most of us have big heads at SportRx. We will keep mentioning it to our friends at Costa and hopefully, they listen.
Oakleys are good but in my opinion for the water Costas are the best. I tried polorized prizm Oakleys for about 2 month gave up . Went back to costas not even close. I understand costas are for the water but I was sold that oakleys are better lol. Thanks guys
Thank you for the feedback Geo! For anything on the water, we always recommend our friends at Costa. It is hard to beat that 580 technology when reeling in the big one.
What is the color frame of the rincons that Rob tries on ? Looks almost like a matte grey which to my knowledge isn’t available on the rincon. Great video, thanks guys !
Have the people who sell fake Costas, trying to put 580 on the lenses to pass as etched?? Just curious wanted to buy a pair off eBay! Any feedback would help!
Hey Rob, I just bought a pair of Jose’s but the frame was bent right outta the box. I bought em from a secondhand dealer. Any suggestions on what to do?
Question i have an older pair of Costa with Vermillion lens. I can see 10 deep in Galveston water. I know they stop making them lens. Im looking for something wher i can see in the Galveston water for site casting any idea?
Well I just got a pair of Costas white tip 580p first things first is that I picked them up from one of my family members for free before I even knew what they were they said look at these glasses you might like them as soon as I seen them I was like no I don't like how the temple part stick way out but my girlfriend quickly noticed that I don't hold my ears back with these glasses on so with that I was like yes I want them but not really liking them at all not knowing what they were I get online and find out that they were $250 in their prime and about 180 or 150 now or $200 or whatever I don't know I can't understand why any pair of sunglasses for that matter would be that much money but especially these they don't feel like some superior quality they just feel like good quality glasses I will say that the 580 lenses are some of the absolute best lenses I've ever looked through I wish all my rifle scopes had this kind of glass in it other than some nice clear glass I don't care if I was Elon musk I wouldn't spend $200 on any pair of sunglasses I just got these things last night October the 11th and I guarantee I'll have them busted and broken before this coming weekend I broke my pit viper glasses the day I got them I can't keep glasses the longest I've ever kept glasses was a pair of knockoff oakleys that some girl stole from me in the strip club in South Carolina lol
I currently wear Maui Jim World Cup series. I want to try out Costa for my next pair. I have a large head and I like the way the Maui Jim World Cup fits my head. What would be most comparable in the Costa line that you can suggest?
Hi guys, I have a question about Costa authenticity on a pair of glasses, sold in the United Kingdom. The shop is reputable, and selling Costa sunglasses among others. The glasses say Costa on the lenses, but I can't find any pairs online that say that (I know that they say 580 now) but are there any lenses that have "Costa" etched into them? And what lens technology would they have? Thanks!
Hey Art! I reached out to our friends at Costa to get an answer to your question. Apparently, in the earlier days of Costa, they use to etch COSTA into the lens. It was around 2016-2017 they stopped doing that and only did the 580 etched into the top right lens. If it is a reputable shop then it is more likely they had a model sitting around there for a while. But those lenses did have the 580 technology. We hope this helps answer your question.
@@sportrxeyewear Thanks for the reply! I got those back then and really lucked out. Since they're not very popular in the UK, the store was selling them for about $60!
Hey Joseph! The Spearo and Rinconcito are both close in size compared to the Frogskins. If we had to pick one we think the Spearo would be the best option as it has a similar lens frame width and lens design. Please let us know if we can help with anything else :) www.sportrx.com/costa-spearo.html
Hey Heath! The Bloke's are a great pair of fishing sunglasses and. This is a link to a video review we did on them when they were first released. ua-cam.com/video/0K09Prd8yk8/v-deo.html Please let us know if you have any further questions :)
Sorry for the delay in reply! The frame color is Matte Tortoise and the lens color is the Green Mirror. You can find those here: www.sportrx.com/costa-slack-tide.html Thanks for watching!
Any of Costa's "Core Collection" frames will be good for fresh water fishing. We'd recommend going with the Copper lens with either the Green or Silver mirror.
Hey rob question bro...? What sunglasses do you recommend me im looking for wrap around like the costa reefton,or the oakley turbine...but in like a medium size...?? Thanx
Hey Hugo! A Costa frame with a similar design to the Reefton would be the Motu. For Oakley, the Straightlink is a good M version of the Turbine. Please let us know if we can help with anything else. www.sportrx.com/costa-motu.html www.sportrx.com/oakley-straightlink.html
Hey Ronald! The Costa Diego is about 2 mm wider in width compared to the Reefton. But to answer your question yes they are similar in size. Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

Hey Coloradonation! Unfortunately, the Costa Diego and Sampan weren't released yet when this video was shot. But if they had been both frames would have made the cut.
Hey Carson! The Trevally is one of the smallest frames Costa offers. Neither the Apalach or Blackfin would be a great option if that is what you are looking for in regards to frame size. The Whitetip would be a good option or if you want something more lifestyle the Hinano is also a good choice.
Isnt rincon pronounced reen-con? Like in Spanish. I figured if it’s named after rincon beach and there is a version of these glasses called rinconcito it shouldn’t be said with an Anglo pronunciation. Just saying 🤷🏻♂️
"Bearded man, if you do a review, then show the glasses from the front how they look and not from the side! The second chela has a narrow face" We tried to show all angles on the spinning plate, but we have since started to show all frames modeled on a face. Hopefully, you're watching newer videos as well!
