Kaenon hands down. I have owned multiple pair and given these out to friends and family. Their lenses are hands down the best on the market.
I was very happy with the Wiley X Valors. Comfortable frame, good lenses. Similarish to the Oakley XLJ.

For me it’s between the Rincon and Red Sands. I tend to gravitate toward glass so probably Rincon between those two. Tough call.

After kids, I've bought gas station sunglasses for the last 8 years. Why no William Painters, or other DTC boutique brands? Just curious. Great video and awesome stuff you guys are doing. Thanks Rob! Thank you for all the videos for larger sunglasses. Because of your reviews, I have actually purchased all of them on the list, with the exception of the SPY pair. Here's my experience with them:
- Kaenon Burnet - great quality lens and frame finish, but because they are the heaviest and the arms press on my head, I reach out to them less often.
- Oakley Holbrook XL - my favorite pair so far. Comfortable, light, great lens (red ones).
- SMITH Outlier 2 - Although I liked the lens, the frame seemed a little "cheap" to me, so after I lost them I didn't replace.
- Wiley X Gravity - I use these while riding my Harley because of their wrap around fit and impact rating. I have the clear glass too for night riding.
- Maui Jim Red Sands - Very classy, dressier pair, comfortable, very good quality, but I hardly ever use them anymore. They have the dark lenses and I now prefer the brighter, color popping effect. You can ship your sunglasses to IL and they'll replace the lenses for you for $75 plus tax and a $13 processing fee, but I think I'll just keep them and buy a new pair instead.
- Costa Rincon - nice wide lenses, thin arms, good quality...probably my 2nd go to pair after the Oakleys because they sit closer to the face and I have to trim my eyebrows constantly. Funny but true. Costas keep catching them, Oakleys don't.
- I haven't tried the Spy yet probably because I'm not a fan of the big, thick arms...I feel like I'd lose some peripheral vision.

If you’re a motorcyclist going down the highway without* a helmet, I think sunglasses are the least of your worries.
Although it could help identify a potential hazard quicker than without!
Not shown, but Mainlink XL's are my favorite "do everything" frames. Prizm deep water are my favorite "do everything" lenses.
