If I didn’t own a pair of Oakley prizms I would be sceptical that they are as good as the thumbnail picture but they do genuinely make all the colours deeper and richer while significantly reducing the suns glare. I think there brilliant
I’m so happy to see you’re still answering questions on this video. For a week or so I have been tossing up between Oakley Latch Prizm Black Iridium and Prizm Black Iridium Polarized. I live in Australia and the sunnies will be for general day to day use such as driving and walking in mostly sunny or overcast weather. I will also be playing golf casually but nothing competitive. To me, the only time I feel like I would say “wow” with Prizm Polarized is near the water (and maybe clouds?). I will be travelling to Europe which will involve tours near water but I am not a fisherman nor spend much time on the water generally. So what would you recommend out of these two? I’ve seen varied suggestions when driving as it reduces glare but may not show oil spills etc. I feel as though there is a stigma that if you don’t have polarised sunglasses then your glasses aren’t great. So I am wondering if I would be disadvantaged in anyway other than glare reduction if I opt for Prizm Iridium Black Oakley Latch over the Polarized counterpart? Thankyou!!
Hey there! Considering the fact that you're not near or operating on water coupled with golf play, I think the non-polarized option will better suit you as your everyday drivers. Polarization can affect depth perception and the ability to accurately track the ball in flight and may make it difficult to read digital screen displays. The obvious benefit, as you mentioned, has to do with glare reduction, but since you wouldn't regularly experience the benefits of such, the non-polar is the better choice. Hope this helps and thanks so much for watching!
Im the exact same way! I went deep sea fishing for the first time last year and i got the deep water prizm polarized fuel cell just for this trip and i was blown away how well they worked compared to friends shades. I only use polarized
ones I was driving through Wyoming. Winter time that morning are used regular Prizms thanks to the God because of a black ice! with polarized lenses I could have nasty surprise
@SportRx you guys are absolutely correct!! 20+ years I was among the last gen of lab workers at a Luxottic store where we still carefully handmade lenses from raw blanks on massive 50’s equipment, so I learned heaps!! Most polarized lenses are made so sloppy it’s disgusting. Oakley actually does take care to make their polarization precise & be of benefit to the wearer. Half the companies out there just throw it on as an afterthought and it actually does nothing beneficial.
I’ve been wearing Prizm lenses for a couple years but i needed to replace the lenses bad. I just got Prizm polarized sapphire lenses for my Sliver Stealths and I definitely notice the difference. After this video I’m thinking I need none polarized Prizm lenses for my work shades. I’m landscaping and realizing there isn’t much glare. Now i gotta figure out which Prizm lens would be best for mowing lawns and being able to see my lines better 🤷🏻
very helpful info. Thank you! i have 2 pair oakley. i bought for my wife a pair and she said WOW my eyes are so relaxed now. awesome!! she had other brands from clothing fashion but when she put Oakley she saw and feel the difference instantly. I did not expect. i just saw videos on youtube about Oakley factory and technology so i believed it should be good.
Awesome video. I wear prizm p holbooks when I'm fishing or out on my kayak, and they work great to get rid of that glare and prevent the migraines I'm so used to getting when out on the water for hours on end. However I never realized why it'd be good to have non-polaroized glasses on hand for some of my other hobbies. So I appreciate the info, thanks guys keep up the informative content
Proper lens technology is very important. I have an astigmatism and strabismus. It’s a pain. I have prescription glasses but after a while, they just make my eyes tired. It’s surprising how much relief I get just by the filtering and clarification added by these lens types.
Awesome video guys. I just purchased a pair of non-polarized PRIZM lenses and found they were too bright for driving as my eyes are sensitive to light. I've been using Polarized lenses for twenty years now and it reduces strain on my eyes. Going to buy some replacement Polarized PRIZM lenses for my Flack 1.0 and see how it works. Once again, great video!
Going for a SMILE surgery next week and went to my optician store today to get my current vision checked to make sure it has been stable for a few years (luckily it has been very stable, just changes within margin of error). Figured I needed a new pair of sunglasses, both right after the surgery and in general. Wanted some high quality ones that will last for many, many years. Took me like 2 hours to pick a pair and by chance oakley was the only one that had a pair that fit me really well, looked good on me and felt very solid, the only other options had annoying pink or other headache inducing colors, I only wanted brown or gray/black. Well, had more options but I aimed only for the glasses they marked as ”last chance” options they were stopping sale of in their store, so I got a showcase pair that usually cost 300 euro for the price of 170 euro. They were coincidentally a pair of prizm black polarized. I didn’t even know what that meant, but after watching these videos, I realize I were lucky enough to make an optimal choice. I want to use my glasses for everything. Seems the black ones are relatively neutral in use cases, which fits me. Prizm seems great overall. The only thing I’m not sure about is them being polarized. I like to ride my bike around, but honestly I probably won’t ever go around mountain biking in dangerous terrain, so it’s fine if they’re a bit darker there. I also like fishing a lot, I know well how annoying the glare can be from the water in sunlight. Then for car use too. For walks, either should be good even if I would probably prefer them to be slightly brighter in those cases. So, overall, the black prizm polarized seems like a great ”general use” pair for everything. I also won’t look like as someone who wants to be cool going around with single lens rainbow lenses, although I do admit I was drawn to them and tried all those options too before admitting I looked like a moron and those types of glasses just don’t fit me. Lucky to have chosen a good pair for a long time of use. Was slightly concerned about the prizm P etched into the lens, thought it was because it was a showpiece, but seems they just have that just to show authenticity. Now really looking forward to my eye surgery next week, I hope it goes well and I can wear these new sunglasses to my next boat fishing trip. Thanks for the great video.
Oh, and I’m also looking forward to how things actually look with the glasses on, can’t really get a grasp on contrast and clarity when I have myopia that makes everything fuzzy and astigmatism that makes anything I look at lack clarity, things just kind of blend outwards, like someone copy pastes stuff and misaligns it slightly over the original while lowering opacity. The astigmatism is honestly the worst part, it just makes everything unclear instead of fuzzy and it’s headache inducing.
I bought some prizm grey polarised lens glasses, I’ve worn different Oakley lens for a long time including prizm sport which I use for running and cycling. I went walking in the polarised grey and I kid you not, these ones had me literally seeing stars and it was really difficult to see - I had to keep closing one eye to stop myself feeling dizzy.
i have a pair of plazmas and one is polarized and one is not. im a ups driver. and i returning the polarized bc just the slight tilt of my head causes the polariation effect to kick in and off. its so annoying. i see the benefits bc i can easily seen through the glare of a windshield
I need to set up an appointment. I need something for every day use I’m a trucker and it kills me to not have proper eyewear aggressive skating, paintball and dunning is what normally do.

I’m trying to buy some Oakleys for my dad he drives the same direction back home everyday on the freeway from work, he says he wants some lens that shield his eyes well from the sun. Is the polarized option right for this? How about prizim polarized?
What a great gift for dad! Yes, the PRIZM Polarized option is the best bet for driving. Polarized lenses make the biggest difference in protecting your eyes from harmful UV rays and glare which bounces off windshields and bumpers on the road.
Which lenses do u recommend for like poolside, chilling at the beach and lake? I live on the lake with a bunch of trees . I want to get a pair for daily use that are suitable the water
Hi there! PRIZM Deep Water Polarized will definitely meet your needs! Check out a separate review here: www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-deep-water-lens-review/
HI! Some people enjoy polarization in the snow, while others prefer non polar for better depth perception. If you're able to include a few different prizm lens options i think you'll find the benefit of being able to change out different sets as conditions change
I suffer from Migraines and am effected by Blulight saturation... Did some research and saw a Plutonite lenses describing the things that I suffer from but now can’t find 1) is there a Plutonite lens? 2) if not what is the next best option regarding my sitchuation
All oakleys have a plutonite lens. Thats what makes them premium. Plutonite is just the name of the material they make the lenses out of. I do know their lenses are also 100%uv resistant as well as blue light to 400 nanometers. That may be the stat you were looking yo research. Hope that helped -a random internet dude-
Cadillac Walters is on it! All Oakley lenses are constructed of Plutonite. It is a high-grade polycarbonate material that blocks out 100% UVA, UVB, and UVC light and blue light up to 400 nanometers. It is also a highly impact resistant material!
Dear Mr Ambassador, I'm in need of prescription sunglasses and Oakley is my solution. Since I was in junior high, Oakley has represented precision technology and one helluva style. The brand name one aspires to! Now, enter the HSA and I'm ready...except the market isn't ready for me. Given the multitude of Oakley styles, interesting enough only four frames accommodate my Rx. It's so difficult to buy a pair that I think my only remaining option is to visit an Oakley factory store. Thanks for the great video and I'll look forward to a response!

Hi Joe! You are on the right track with a polarized lens. PRIZM Black, Sapphire, or Jade offer the most protection because they have a grey base and will block out the most light. That is what we recommend if you want optimal protection. You can check out the other PRIZM Everyday lenses here: www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-everyday-lens-technology/ and shop Oakley sunglasses here: www.sportrx.com/brand/oakley.html
Polarised lenses are amazing! But if your car have a head up display for example.. most likely you will not able to see it, as well as some other types of displays.. I personally will not recommend it for day to day driving (years of experience with that) Go polarised only for specific activities.. and go Oakley it is the best out there!

What do you recommend for working in the mountains full sun for 10 to 8 hrs a day and also driving and checking waves in the morning. I just got LASiK and wanna take care of my eyes. Im about to custumize some oakleys. Thanks
I’ve got a question. I live in Hawaii and got a job at the pool which one should I get prism or polarized prism ? And maybe use it for driving as well. Thanks my eyes is pretty sensitive to light
My life perspective about sunglasses changed since I got my radars range in 2010, they still shine as new, then i got a flak jacket xlj, they are the best purchases I've ever done, but I've bought a radar evs path road, and man, this is incredible, colors are more vivid, prizm technology is another thing. I use them for driving in summer, going to the beach, and walks, ciclyng and play golf. Indescriptible...
I have used one pare of Radar EV prizm polarized for 7 years now and its absolutely stunning love it unfortunetly i ruined it just few days ago by leaving it wet after cleaning with chemically not clean water (tap water in Georgia ) so coating got "eaten" off on same places, have to replace lenze, one cool feature is that you actualy can only buy replacement parts such as lens itself and all rubber parts that gets soft time to time. so thank you Oakley for providing cut edge technologies for everyday use keep going!
That is correct. It is offered in PRIZM Black, Grey Polarized, and PRIZM Deep Water Polarized though! You can check it out here: www.sportrx.com/oakley-fuel-cell.html Thanks for reaching out!
Not quite, the Fuel Cell is not available with black iridium polarized as a stock option anymore. However, it is available in PRIZM Black(non-polar) and PRIZM Grey(non-polar). If you want a polarized option it is available in Grey(non-PRIZM) polar, PRIZM Ruby polar, and PRIZM Deep Water polar. If you have any additional questions you can always contact one of our certified opticians here: www.sportrx.com/contact
I didn't know a thing about Oakley before my eye doctor advised to buy a pair. Now I know that PRIZM is amazing. Still, I do not entirely trust plastic frames. But the shades are just amazing.
I have Oakley Turbine Prizm Polarized 009263-06. It star to peal from edges. Why that happens I have Ray Ban P from more than 5 years and never happened those. I want to know what is and how to correct.
i just bought a prizm gray polorized and compared to my old grey lenses. Color and contrast are very obviously boosted and clarity seems better somehow. But they are not grey anymore, there is a kinda pinky rose looking tint or something to it
Hi Shock Wave! You are correct! The Prizm grey lens adds a touch of rose to the dye recipe to help boost colors and enhance contrast. Good 👁! ua-cam.com/video/xacc1Nc1AGc/v-deo.html
If Oakley made Adjustable nose pads that might be a buy but I have a wide nose especially on the lower part. I’ve tried Oakley sunglasses but just can’t find one’s that have the nose adjustment pads.
Hi Triple G! Check out The Rudy Project brand of frames. They offer some of the most versatile and customizable nosebads on the market for athletes of all types 👉www.sportrx.com/shopby/brand-rudy_project.html
Thank you so much for the video! But I have have to ask you, for paragliding, do you think it's better polarized or not? Because of the clouds, sometimes I paraglide on the sea shore, but you caught on depth perception. I really hope you can answer and all the best !
That is a great question! For areas surrounding water on sunnier days, polarization is a must! But when the clouds roll in, you may find a benefit with non-polarized lenses with a higher VLT. Check out San Diego's own #paraglidingpixie aka Milly, who we had a chance to make a pair of paragliding glasses for. And can attest to the benefits of prescription polarized lenses for use along the coast! And thanks for watching! 🪂👉instagram.com/p/Cegx8TwpF8e/
Have you done comparative tests between polarized and non-polarized lenses to determine the magnification differences between the two types? And have you tested nonpolarized lenses to determine that they have no magnification that would affect depth perception? I realized recently that my sunglasses, which are polarized, were creating a depth perception issue that hinders my ability to improve in my sport, so now I'm looking for a solution. I happen to love wearing "rose-tinted" glasses because they just make everything better most of the time.
Hi Carl! We have not conducted any internal tests here at SportRx although we have heard that polarized lenses can affect depth perception in some individuals. Thanks for sharing your findings with us. If you would like to chat further we are here for you: www.sportrx.com/contact
Are prizm lenses okay for pilots. If so which Oakley glasses offer the prizm lenses without polarization. I’m aware that pilots can’t use polarized glasses due to the interference it has on flight instruments. I was wondering if this same restriction applies to prizm lenses with non polarization.
Good question! No, Non-Polarized Prizm lenses do not have the same restrictions for pilots. Polarization can interfere with a pilot's ability to view and interpret instrumentation in the cockpit. Any Prizm lens with polarization will be noted in the name (i.e. Prizm Black Polarized).
My Radars with Prizm have been great for cycling and running. I only wish the viewing angle was a bit higher as when im in the aero position on the bike some of the top frame is visible.
Hi Adrian! Thanks for providing us with your feedback! Have you checked out the Sutro yet? It may have the extra coverage you are looking for: www.sportrx.com/oakley-sutro.html
@@sportrxeyewear Sutro looks dumb. Not liking the "bug eye" hipster look everyone is going for these days. Personally, I would recommend the Radar EV. Better viewing angle over the standard radars - still look like something you could almost wear off the bike. If this guy is only seeing some of the top frame of the classic radars - radar EV should be good for him.
Hello! For tennis, and depending on light conditions, check out the Prizm Field, Golf, or Trail or Trail Torch. Stay away from polarization as it can affect your ability to gauge depth. Hope this helps! 🎾
Now I’m worried because I play baseball and I just bought the Radar Ev black polarized prizm glasses do I need to take them back? And get only prizm or what
Not necessarily. Some people can use polarized lenses and it doesn't seem to bother them. You may find that it will work just fine for you. I would recommend testing them out just a bit if you can.
Ive had both prizm and prizm p (prizm polarized). They are both great and this video is highly accurate but you also should take into consideration that prizm polarized lenses also have a noticeably darker tint than the prizms.
What would you recommend for a pilot, I need to see my gauges inside but also seeing other aircraft and identifying land marks is very important, the sun is pretty bright when you're above the clouds.
Hi Levi! We advise getting non-polarized lenses. A polarized lens will make your gauges difficult to read due to the filter that is on the lens. PRIZM Black or PRIZM Sapphire are the darkest PRIZM sunglass lenses available and would suit you the best for flying. You can check out the entire PRIZM Everyday collection here: www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-everyday-lens-technology/

As a courier I'm driving a lot of miles everyday in all kinds of weather jumping in and out of my van, should I get polarized PRIZM lenses or one or the other? Thanks, guys.
Hey i wnna know which is suitable for me prizm or polarized as i mainly want it for driving or running in the sunlight as where i live the summers are too hot
Hi there! A polarized lens is preferred for driving to cut the reflection of glare off wind shields and bumpers. However, we do not always recommend it for physical activities because it has been known to affect depth perception with some individuals.
Can someone recommend the right pair of sunglasses for watching an airshow, where it’s mostly Sunny , maybe some clouds, but for looking at the sky with clarity & no glare?
Hi there! They are both grey base lenses which mean that they are meant to block more light than a lighter base tint like brown or pink. However, PRIZM Black is rated at 11% VLT and PRIZM Sapphire is 12% VLT. VLT(Visible Light Transmission) is a measure of the amount of light that passes through the lens to your eyes. This is a very very minimal difference but it showcases how PRIZM Black is just a hair darker. The other key difference is aesthetics of the lens from an outside perspective. You can learn more about PRIZM Everyday lenses here: www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-everyday-lens-technology/
We wish we could! We can make an embedded rx shield lens for the Jawbreaker but it is only offered in clear, grey, or black. Unfortunately Oakley has not released non-rx replacement shields in either PRIZM water lens yet.

In this case I'm think of buy Prizm Polarized with a high % light through, I see a few lenses up to 17%. I have cheap polarized glasses but do not see any issue with depth perception. So not sure what you would recommend though.
Hi there! It sounds like you are on the right track. A higher VLT will let more light in through the lenses and would make sense on overcast or rainy days. Not to your eyes! It may be difficult to read car displays or cell phone screens at times but there but you'll notice the benefit to your eyes the moment you put them on!
I'm thinking of getting a pair of Oakley Holbrook M Black W/ Prism Ruby Iridium. Are these polarized and would they be great against glare, please let me know, thank you.
So I shouldn’t use polarized for running trails in San Diego or mountains at elevation? When I wonder why I can’t see shadows on trails is that why? Depth perception?
Hi there! The main benefit of a polarized lens is glare reduction. Glare occurs when vertical sun rays bounce of an object to create horizontal rays-the harsh glare is the combination of the two. PRIZM manages color. It separates the noisy colors while highlighting the colors your eyes are more sensitive to. This contrast boost helps you spot textures and details easier. I really hope this helped answer your question. If not, you can always contact one of our certified opticians here: www.sportrx.com/contact

I have bought my Oakley Flak® 2.0 XL last week .. I feel so much comfortable whiile playing cricket … can u please recommend another model for cricket … I love Oakley since my childhood….
Would you recommend Polarized or Non-Polarized Lenses for Rowing? I thought about Prism Polarized Deep Water. Or should i just go with Prism Lenses? I also want to use them for Running and Biking. Thanks a lot! :)
Hi Lisa! Generally speaking you want a polaized lens for anything water related and non polarized for biking but many people prefer one over the other for multiple activities. If you had to choose 1 for all purposes though i'd shift toward polarized.
Just got a set…going get more (my husband loves them). These are incredibly comfortable, I forget I have them on. I have Prizm & polarized. I live in Florida…sun everywhere, On the water daily, etc. Thanks, Oakley. Good job 👏🏼
I’m want to get a pair of Oakleys prism polarized for fishing to cut the glare off the water and see fish but I also want to use them for playing baseball. I play infield but the big thing is seeing fly balls and not losing them in the sun. Would prism polarized be good to do both and would it mess up the way I see and judge the ball when I’m fielding it. If they are fine for that what is a good suggestion for lense color. Thanks.
Hi there! Great question! Polarized lenses have been known to slightly affect depth perception which is why we do not normally recommend them for sport. However, there are half rim frames such as the Flak 2.0 XL that allow you to swap lenses on the fly. Getting two separate sets of lenses may be your best bet! You can always contact one of our certified opticians for more guidance and information: www.sportrx.com/contact
We offer both! The PRIZM Daily polarized options are available on our site but the non-polar offerings are not up yet but can still be ordered. Grab a copy of your rx and contact one of our certified opticians to help you place your order today: www.sportrx.com/contact
SportRx Well it’s wrong or not all of you guys have the proper information tho. I just talked with rick and he said only polarized option for the Prizm Ruby Can be done at this moment.
What type of lenses would be good to use for all of us umpires for baseball? We all need some new shades to help us make correct calls and stay safe at such high velocity.
Hello Nicholas! If you live in a sunny environment, we recommend PRIZM Dark Golf. This lens has a lot of versatility and works great out on the greens. You can learn more about it here: ua-cam.com/video/-pRbic5nlIs/v-deo.html
Hi Mike! Sunglasses in general are kinda trouble with photography because you can't tell if your light is right because they make the display darker . Also, it can mess with the color and how the white balance looks . When checking your exposure, it's best to take them off. Hope this answers your question! 📷🔥
@@sportrxeyewear Well thanks for the answer but if you have any experience with photography and understand what the histogram shows you. exposure is easy.
Good evening do you have any stores in the UK to speak to someone face to face please I'm looking for prescription glasses mainly for water and fishing lake and sea fishing Cheers
Hi Michael! No polarized version yet. However, they did introduce PRIZM Road Black. You can check out all the differences here: www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-road-vs-road-black/

Hi Ray! You should check out PRIZM Golf and Dark Golf. Both lenses are designed to enhance contrast on the greens and make your golf ball easier to track. Hi Oswaldo! Go with PRIZM Field! It is specifically designed for the baseball environment: www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-field-lens-technology/ Thanks for reaching out!
hey there, i’m looking into buying a pair of radar ev path sunglasses. i’m a skateboarder and find myself getting tired of squinting all of the time and could benefit from some enhanced depth perception. what would you recommend for me? would regular unpolarized prizm glasses help keep me from squinting so much? thanks in advance
How can Prism Road not be available in Polarized option? Road glare off shiny roads is one of the worst things in sunny climates. Cutting out road glare with polarization makes a huge difference. I'm skeptical about tweaking color spectrum with prism being able to match or better that. The video didn't address this. Please convince me a blinding shiny road will look better through prism than through an amber tinted polarized lens.
Hi there! You bring up a great point! You are correct that a polarized lens is necessary for glare protection. However, PRIZM Road is not polarized because being able to spot the glare off water patches or oil slicks will help you to react quicker on your bike. PRIZM contrast makes everything in your environment pop with detail so you can see every little detail on the road. All Oakley lenses are 100% UVA, UVB, and UVC protected. Oakley just recently introduced a PRIZM Road Black lens that is more ideal for sunny environments because it is a darker tint but still made for the road environment. Hope this clears things up for you! You can leanr more about PRIZM Sport here: www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-sport-lens-technology/

Thank you for your time in the eyewear field! We really appreciate your expertise and feedback :)
@@sportrxeyewear thx for ur kind reply & happy new year! Great channel brother!🤙
👍
very helpful info. Thank you! i have 2 pair oakley. i bought for my wife a pair and she said WOW my eyes are so relaxed now. awesome!! she had other brands from clothing fashion but when she put Oakley she saw and feel the difference instantly. I did not expect. i just saw videos on youtube about Oakley factory and technology so i believed it should be good.
Glad we could help! You're right, the difference between their lens and other fashion brands is immediately perceivable.
Andrew, my man, you're such a great listener and the way you reply (to Rob or any other ambassador on this channel) is always on point!
Could you please do the video of Oakley Prizm Road vs Prizm Road Black lens?
Hi Drew! We just recently shot that and will have that published soon!
So basically Prizm is an Oakley patent, but polarized is not.
Might get another non-polarized pair if I have the need in the future.
Glad it helped you! & Good luck with the surgery! 😎
Hello. Could you tell me what are the glasses on the table, 2nd row from the right, 2nd from the bottom( green lens with green sticker on it)
Hello! It's the Oakley Split Shot 🔥

I have USMC issue Oakley M-Frame 3.0s with prizm lenses
I bought some prizm grey polarised lens glasses, I’ve worn different Oakley lens for a long time including prizm sport which I use for running and cycling. I went walking in the polarised grey and I kid you not, these ones had me literally seeing stars and it was really difficult to see - I had to keep closing one eye to stop myself feeling dizzy.
Love the Oakley prizm experience, they “brighten” my day
i have a pair of plazmas and one is polarized and one is not. im a ups driver. and i returning the polarized bc just the slight tilt of my head causes the polariation effect to kick in and off. its so annoying. i see the benefits bc i can easily seen through the glare of a windshield
True Luke, it's a bit of a tradeoff. Thanks for sharing! Great input 👍
I use both lenses. Just got a Oakley translucent Poseidon prism lens and I like it a lot.

Man I bought gascan prizm polarized and they are freaking awesome! U won’t regret it!
For ski or on snow days and on the slops should is it better to take one sun glasses in prizm polarized?
Or prizm separately
Ir polarized separately
HI! Some people enjoy polarization in the snow, while others prefer non polar for better depth perception. If you're able to include a few different prizm lens options i think you'll find the benefit of being able to change out different sets as conditions change
Can you tell me what the white frames are at 4:00 (prizm deep water)? Thanks!

1) is there a Plutonite lens?

Hi Joe! You are on the right track with a polarized lens. PRIZM Black, Sapphire, or Jade offer the most protection because they have a grey base and will block out the most light. That is what we recommend if you want optimal protection. Great description about prizm and prizm polarized! Never have I thought that polarization would be bad on ski goggles. Now it makes alot more sense!
Hi Antti! Thanks for the love! Glad we could help you out.
Polarised lenses are amazing! But if your car have a head up display for example.. most likely you will not able to see it, as well as some other types of displays..
I personally will not recommend it for day to day driving (years of experience with that)
Go polarised only for specific activities.. and go Oakley it is the best out there!
Why wouldn't you recommend polarised for driving? Because of the display issue?

Hey there! Go Polarized PRIZM all the way if you're going to be working around water 😎
I have used one pare of Radar EV prizm polarized for 7 years now and its absolutely stunning love it
unfortunetly i ruined it just few days ago by leaving it wet after cleaning with chemically not clean water (tap water in Georgia ) so coating got "eaten" off on same places, have to replace lenze, one cool feature is that you actualy can only buy replacement parts such as lens itself and all rubber parts that gets soft time to time. so thank you Oakley for providing cut edge technologies for everyday use keep going!
Does Oakley not make fuel cell with the iridium black polarized anymore?
That is correct. It is offered in PRIZM Black, Grey Polarized, and PRIZM Deep Water Polarized though! You can check it out here: www.sportrx.com/oakley-fuel-cell.html Thanks for reaching out!
@@sportrxeyewear so grey black polarized fuel cell is the prism?
Not quite, the Fuel Cell is not available with black iridium polarized as a stock option anymore. However, it is available in PRIZM Black(non-polar) and PRIZM Grey(non-polar). i just bought a prizm gray polorized and compared to my old grey lenses.
Good 👁!

I really hope you can answer and all the best !
That is a great question! For areas surrounding water on sunnier days, polarization is a must! But when the clouds roll in, you may find a benefit with non-polarized lenses with a higher VLT. Greetings from Costa Rica
I wanted to know if there are glasses
original prizm p that do not have the prizm p engraved on the lens
Is there an Ice Iridium or ice Prizm? I've seen an actual one but nothing online being sold.
Hi! The Ice Iridium is still available for some models, but there's currently no 'Ice' option combined with Prizm tech.
is prizm polarized terrigal okay for driving? it has an "X" mark on the label though
I scratched up my old Oakley shades, does Oakley provide replacement lenses ?
Hey Rob. What model of glasses are you wearing in this video? Thanks!
Hey so I am wanting to get 1 pair to use for both baseball and fishing. Would it be better to get prism or polarized or both.
For sports in the sand (beach volleyball, beach soccer and beach tennis), is it better to use prizm polarized then?
My Radars with Prizm have been great for cycling and running. I only wish the viewing angle was a bit higher as when im in the aero position on the bike some of the top frame is visible.
Hi Adrian! Thanks for providing us with your feedback! Have you checked out the Sutro yet? It may have the extra coverage you are looking for: www.sportrx.com/oakley-sutro.html

Sutro looks dumb.
HI thank you so much. What should I use for Tennis ?
Hello! For tennis, and depending on light conditions, check out the Prizm Field, Golf, or Trail or Trail Torch. Stay away from polarization as it can affect your ability to gauge depth. Hope this helps! 🎾
@@sportrxeyewear thank you again
Look up on UA-cam “Captain Joe polarized glasses”
Hi Levi! We advise getting non-polarized lenses. A polarized lens will make your gauges difficult to read due to the filter that is on the lens. Can someone recommend the right pair of sunglasses for watching an airshow, where it’s mostly Sunny , maybe some clouds, but for looking at the sky with clarity & no glare?
I have a pair of sapphire polarized jawbreakers. But whats the diffrent bettween it and prizm black polarized?
@@sportrxeyewear thx, btw can you make shallow water or deep water polarized glasses for the jawbreakers so i can go fishing in them 😉

Are HD technology an Oakley's exclusive? Some other brands offering?
What Prizm would you recommend for a So. Cal. truck driver?
Hi there! PRIZM Black polarized or PRIZM Sapphire Polarized will be best since they are the two darkest options available and the polarized filter will block glare out on the road. Thanks for reaching out!
How do you tell if the lenses are prizm polarized? Is it the label “prizm p”?
Hey I would love if you guys could tell me what kind should I get for baseball
Hi Oswaldo! Go with PRIZM Field! It is specifically designed for the baseball environment: www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-field-lens-technology/ Thanks for reaching out!
hey there, i’m looking into buying a pair of radar ev path sunglasses. i’m a skateboarder and find myself getting tired of squinting all of the time and could benefit from some enhanced depth perception. what would you recommend for me? would regular unpolarized prizm glasses help keep me from squinting so much? thanks in advance
i am currently most interested in your prizm road black lenses, is this a good choice?
