She is RIGHT though,alot of people collect and have to get everything of a certain collection,but you can always refuse to get EVERY single one of them,and some of them aren't as good as others.I know people that have gotten multiple copies of the same movie on blu ray and kept them because they were a part of some kind of collection and they didn't like having any missing.

I collect videogames too so I know. Yeah videogames can cost more than movies especially the systems. And it's even more expensive if it's retro lol!😂
That depends on what and how you collect.
Winning that Oscar should make up for at least a whole years worth of buys. Need to do an end of year audit going over all 12 months as a total including some of the highlights (great buys and favorite pickups).
The thumbnails are funny and appropriate for these videos … most every man knows “the look” or comments from our wives with regard to our movie purchasers.

I am on your wifes side with this, that is an insane amount of money in a single month. Upgraded my entire home theater in August to 4K with Dolby Atmos and started adding/ replacing 4K movies at the time. Sixty plus new 4K movies and haven't spent in five months what you spent in the month of November. I keep it under $10.00 disc as an average.
Your wife was also right about purchasing a movie because it was on sale as well, I purchased two from Best Buy last month that I didn't really need but thought the deal was to good to pass up less than $8.00 a disc.

Yeah. Not only are Scream Factory movies expensive but I heard a lot of people complaining of greasey cases and scratched discs too.

I look forward to the audit each month with your wife. Her comments & expressions are priceless! LOL. I would never consider doing this with my wife. Hell with divorce...she would bury me out back and destroy the shovel to eliminate the evidence. Especially after November. I bought over 40 titles, most ever in one month. Now she's all stressed out trying to balance checkbook thanks to Amazon! I hate the way they do their charges. Sometimes they charge when ordering, sometimes when they ship. Then many times they split orders up into several shipments making things worse to figure out.
Looks like some cool movies, but I usually don't drop 30 bucks on them. I got a nice collection and I try not to pay over 10 bucks. Lots of blue rays in mine which is fine.
My question would be, who is bringing home most of the 🥓 😜

I grabbed Christmas vacation 4k and Elf, home alone 4k, home alone 2 blu-ray (hot take I think it's superior), last night in soho, jurassic Park all on black Friday and only Vaca and Elf were more than $9.99 I think. MacGyver 1985 complete series on blu-ray, white whale of mine for $85 on eBay. Finally found the slip box versions of Halloween 2 $24.99 and Halloween 4 was $29.99, got burned on the original and got the slip cover not box all for $24.55.
Hey Ken, does your wife have a collecting hobby that you could audit? My wife tries to get on me about the movies I buy, but then I remind her about her ENORMOUS body care collection and that usually silences her! 😁 But for real, she's understands my love for buying movies.

I would suggest ditching all the cases and putting discs and artwork in compact binders on a shelf. This will make the collection seem much smaller and perhaps not make your spouse so stressed.
