She isn't divorcing you Ken. With all the money you spend on physical media there isn't much left for her to take in a divorce.
She could take half the collection. *Cue dramatic music.
LOL 😂😂😂😂
I don’t normally watch the audit videos, too much of a mirror of myself, but the title of this one made me laugh…so here we are.
20:49
That look is priceless. That's my look to myself when I think about what I should be doing with my money, but don't.
Im approaching 300 movies. Wife says I need to find new hobby lol
There's worse that cost mode money for sure. Lol
Great video Ken and a great haul, you two are awesome together and I really enjoyed the almost divorced case lol! I'm the same way, I absolutely had to have it, look at the box set, look at the packaging and slipboxes, we are collectors and its what we do, including double dipping. I went to Best Buy yesterday and was going to buy like 3 movies and walked out with Looper Elvis, the Sum of all Fears, Matrix Resurrections all on 4k with all the slipcovers and a blind buy Where the Crawdads sing bluray also with a slip. It was a great month of October, now Black Friday sales make November a really good month and then it's Christmas time sales, you just gotta love it!
she was not having the paranormal activity set no matter how hard you tried to justify it 🤣
Hell of a haul. I actually found that Killer Klowns from Outer Space Blu-ray with Wal-Mart slipcover at Dollar Tree. Not sure I'm helping your cause LOL
Whoever told you that Blood Diner isn’t good is wrong. It’s hilarious and campy. It’s an unofficial sequel/homage to Herschell Gordon Lewis Blood Feast. It’s fun!
Ken, I love how you justify every purchase!! Lol always makes me laugh!
You gotta justify it Sue. Every purchase. Lol
Thanks for this….makes me feel much better about my spending/addiction….😂
Me too. I've gone overboard before with spending in the past.
I don't exactly know why, but out of all your videos, these ones with your wife auditing are my fav's :)
It's like a car wreck. Can't Help but look. Lol
Well, Nov 1 is a Wallet Buster!!! So, u moving Out - lol... Luv u Guys😍😂😂😂😂
First one of these I’ve watched. Hilarious and I’d be afraid to do this myself haha
Ikr I think I came at 200 or 250 and I thought oof I spent a lot
I picked up Orphan First kill, Alligator 4k shout factory, The Howling 4k shout Factory about it so far for this month
I’m glad a few coupon savings helped save the marriage, haha. You are a great couple and it has been fun watching you both do these monthly audits. I don’t collect in the same way and so watching both your end of month round up and Tony’s (basementblus) have become the movie videos I’ve enjoyed the most these past few months
Thank you Neil!
Good fun!
Replacement Killers is John Woo's finest. No BS just ACTION!!!
I love John Woo! As Good as "Broken Arrow?"
and Mira looks GOOOOOOD
@@midlevelmedia both have their different appeal. The opening scene inspired the John Wicks club scene where he goes to kill the son. The song playing in the background is techno and is from the chemical brothers- a very famous 90's electronic music duo. Danny Trejo is also in this movie. The soundtrack is amazing and the gunfight scenes are awesome. This was Chow Yin Fat's first American movie in 1999 and was closely followed by another one "The Corruptor" which was equally good and also starred Mark Wahlberg.
My November Slate:
Highlander 4k steel
Rae Deal 4k steel got it today but damaged, zavvi sending a replacement.
Casa Blanca 4k steelbook collectors set
ET 4k steel collector set
Robinhood 4k steel collector set
Reservoir Dogs 4k Steel.
Pulp Fiction 4k Steel
Halo 4k steel series
Running Man 4k steel
Kick Ass 4k steel collectors
Plus god knows how much I will buy on Black Friday. My wife is surely cutting the marriage Cord if she comes to know😜
Sorry Replacement Killers was directed by Antoine Fuqua the director of Training Day, Equalizer series. He has admitted in interviews that he was always inspired by john woo action movies. I got 😖
My second Shocktober Sale purchase from 10/5 finally shipped yesterday.
I keep getting all these advertisement emails from Shout and think it might be best to stop trying to solicit more or orders until they get caught up on a month-old backlog first.
Thank goodness you haven’t received your Shocktober Sale haul.😅😅😅😅
The addiction is real. I spend.....too much as well
You guys are so much fun together. Great audit! Kenyou get another month in your marriage! We"ll see how next month goes!
She looks absolutely thrilled with your purchases 😆
I got all of these except Universal Classic Monsters Vol. 2, NotLD (I have the blu ray), Paranormal set, the Limey (never heard of it), Arsenic & Lace, Lost Highway, Disturbing Behavior, Bodies, Satans Helper, Fall, Kindred, the Mill Creek movies...I lost track after that lol
"Hold it! Do you feel the weight? ... Touch it ..." This time you had to use everything at your disposal to convince her! :D But honestly it's just so fun to watch your couple dynamic and it's also therapheutic for collectors to reflect on our own spendings.
You explaining why you bought paranormal activity was hilarious lol
Haha! It is true though. Lol
Between Kino, Scream Factory, Amazon, EBay and Blue Underground I spent about 500 and my wife is about ready to leave me
Uh oh! Ken's in TROOOUUUBBBLE 😜😜😂😂😂🤤!!!
In Ken’s defense. Technically there’s four movies in the Halloween set. Because one movie has two cuts and i would say they’re drastically different. 😂
Exactly!
@@midlevelmedia that’s how I talked myself into buying it only 20 bucks a movie that way
You need stuff like the "Honey" extension installed to help you look for great deals and ean point you can re-use haha...
First time watching one of your audits and sheesh you are a brave man my guy 😆
They're not easy. Lol
These are fun videos… Michele you’re a saint! Ken, you’ve got a real keeper in her … don’t ever blow it!!!
Don’t stress it man. That piece of paper that she’s using as “divorce papers” don’t look even remotely official. I’d call her bluff. 😂
Haha...Right? Lol
Never call a lady's bluff. You can win an argument, but you can never win a war.
“You can feel the weight of that” - Ken. If nothing else this quote makes everything all the more awesome. I try that tactic on my gf and she never buys it but it was worth a shot haha
Always worth a shot. Lol
Christmas with the Kranks is too mean spirited.
This month's audit was entertaining and educational. Once I stopped laughing, this actually got me thinking about my own budgeting skills ("skills" is used very loosely 😁).
I'm going to put more thought into my scheduling to sort out which titles I really need to buy now and which ones to park for later until I find a deal I like.
I'm really trying to do the same. Getting tough.
Be glad you're not buying in Canada.
Steelbooks here are about $40
Most Scream Factory is $50
That Halloween 4K set wasn't available in Canada so had to go Amazon US it was I believe over $130
October was a good month. Lots of nice boxsets. Love that paxkaging for That 70s Show. I honestly thought the total would've been more. Great pickups! Always enjoy these videos.
Another awesome show! Can't wait to get the 'Paranormal Activities' box set & 'Catch me if You Can' movies on blu ray!
Try collecting here in Canada lol, it would be 3 times the cost of your hall...it sucks. For example The Amityville Horror is $69 here.
As long as you stay around this months numbers, I guess your in the good books. Haha. I probably spend around 400, which is too much for me be doing on any kinda basis. Gotta tighten up as we are getting a new concrete decking around our pool poured in the spring. Thankfully November will be very light, but December will be harder to resist and has a lot of cool must halves.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR LAST MONTH! BY THE WAY, MY BIRTHDAY WAS ALSO LAST MONTH! OCTOBER 21. I HEARD ONCE ON JAY LENO'S TONIGHT SHOW DECADES AGO, HE SAID OCTOBER WAS THE BIGGEST MONTH FOR MONTHS, OCTOBER BEING THE MONTH WITH THE MOST BIRTHDAYS. I OWN OVER 23,000 MOVIES ON BLURAYS-DVDS-4K. AND ALSO 945 LASERDISCS.
This was a hilariously awesome video, i agree about the paranormal activity set 🤣🤣
I love the justification for all of the purchases are "feel the weight on that" lol love you guys!
Weight is a big selling point for me. 😂
I think your wife for $200 could buy blinders and ear plugs so she does not have to suffer watching and hearing this. Ha
My favorite segment from your channel. LOL. I agree with your wife that Paranormal Activity set is a big disappointment. I have to admit that The Limey steelbook is damn cool though.
Who the hell said Blood Diner wasn't good? For one thing, it's a satire horror movie. It traumatized me as a kid, but I've seen it as an adult and it's awesome. Please watch it.
Ken and Michele, great video! These are always must watch for me. Ken, the reason I’m not big on steel books (other than taking up more space) is those stupid damn j-cards. If they’d do like Lionsgate is doing now with their steel books with the slipcovers, I’d be more down with getting them. They also usually cost more than the slipcover version. I did pick up three steel books in October all on 4K. The first was Fright Night which right now is exclusively on steel book. If it’s exclusively on steel book and I love the movie, I’ll grab it. I did the same with Lawrence of Arabia 4K. No regrets there since that 4K is already going for over $100. I also picked up the It’s A Wonderful Life and Coming To America on 4K steel book from Amazon for $9.96 each. I got kind of buyer’s remorse the very next week with the Coming To America steel book. The very next week the slipcover went on sale for the same price and the slipcover includes the blu-ray. Which the steel book does not. The j-cards irk me because all the spec info that would normally be on the back of a normal 4K cover are on the back of the j-card. A steel book just has almost exclusively artwork on the back and no tech specs. So a slipcover is more useful on a steel book to me because I love to have the movie info and tech specs on hand easily with the 4K and not stored somewhere useless. J-cards are freaking useless, but I don’t throw them out because I just have to keep that info on hand somewhere. Finally, that steel book of The Ring is super cool. However, I refuse to get it because I know it’s inevitable that down the line Paramount will release a 4K. Same reason I didn’t upgrade to that deluxe Paramount Presents edition of Ragtime. I feel like most of the Paramount Presents line will eventually get 4Ks like Scream Factory is doing now with all their past blu-ray releases. Believe you me I’m holding out for that Scream Factory Streets of Fire 4K.
Tbh this is my fave videos you do
September and October = RIP Bank balance
im not even half way though and i can feel the pain.
I can see Michelle being like Rambo to you Ken just like in first blood but instead she says don't push it or I'll give you a divorce you won't believe 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Haha! Hopefully doesn't come to that Jeff.
@@midlevelmedia I hope so to Ken LOL
Killer Klowns is getting a video game soon. Think in 2023. Looks really good. It's along the lines of Friday the 13th, Dead by Daylight and the Evil Dead. Four survivors vs one evil entity.
From the trailer it was 3 clowns as the killer vs a team of survivors, so looks like killer can play co op.
@@fourlights
That would be interesting if so.
Back in the 90's I had a good friend who would buy a ton of model kits. Most were the expensive "Garage Kits" made of resin. These were Hella expensive. He had a ton in his garage and would always sneak them in without his wife finding out. At least your honest with your wife about your physical media addiction.😉
In that first box set, To Sir with Love is a good movie. It's your typical inspirational teacher movie, but Sidney Poitier does a really great job in it.
Spent 1294.34 $ on 4k and steels in Oct. Next month is going to crazy!! Black Friday!!!
Yikes! October was a $500 month for me. Also, Ken, you need to watch THE REPLACEMENT KILLERS it’s a great little late 90s action extravaganza directed by the guy who did Training Day!
Lol me and my girlfriend go through the same thing…
Mrs. Midlevel, as I've been whining about for months, NEVER waste money on those repetitive "steelbook" hunks of garbage. Don't dump the hubby, just dump the soon to be rusty steel junkyard bait. You guys will save a fortune!
Depending on your state add up to ten percent for tax..
Here's my October haul: Scott Pilgrim vs the World 4k, TLJ &TROS 4k, ET 40th Anniversary 4k, Bullet Train 4k, Leon The Professional 4k, Godzilla The Criterion Collection blu-ray & Dragonball Super parts 8 & 9 blu-ray.
This is my favorite video each month
I try to only buy blu-rays of movies I love. Can't see the point of buying mediocre movies just to put on your shelves. Plus, the cost is ridiculous.
In October I got 6 blurays and one 4k:
Bullet Train steelbook
Fall (2022)
The Harry Potter Reunion
Hearts Beat loud
Africa (bbc nature documentary)
Surf's Up
National Treasure 2
Watching this was scarier than watching Barbarian, and Barbarian was helluva scary.
I would like to see the total for worst and best when you do these for context
Oh man I haven't even watched the video yet, but I know this will be brutal since I know how much I made my wallet cry 😝 and I skipped a couple of sales.
Btw I let the ads play to hopefully offset some of the cost 😂
I feel your pain Ken as my wife doesn’t understand my obsession with physical media:)
The most I've paid in a single sitting was $1,700 for 150 DVDs from Severin! It took me a while to watch them all. But then again I am not married so no one will scold me lol! Entertaining audit and cool video Ken!👉😃👈
Holy moley did that include the All The Haunts Are Ours box set?
@@kevinpatrickcarey3741 no these were DVDs only. All Haunts is Blu-Ray and I pre-order it when it was first announced. But I had to take that amount out of my savings!😭
Replacement Killers was a fun movie, but Up The Creek is a lot of raunchy fun in the vein of "So Stupid its Funny"! Cross of 1941, Animal House, Porky's and Hollywood Knights (especially the actors but in content as well). Secret of my Success is a classic! MJF was fantastic in this! You will enjoy. Dead men dont wear plaid is a classic Steve Martin movie, fun fun! I think you will have fun with them
Hello
You shouldn’t worry much
I have spent over $850 in October !!
so if you sell doubles or sell stuff from purges does that money get counted as a minus to your total for the month? so if your total is $750 and you sell back $50 does your total for the month go to $700
It's Christmas time for Ken every month lol.
Awe hell yeah. Yall GOT to hit the like button on these. This man is risking a swift kick in the nuts every time he does the audit. You should have included your TV etc equipment. It's all related to the hobby. Was expecting it to be included.
Yeah well he shouldn't be playing and making fun of getting a divorce. It's not funny for those who are going through one.
@@Sam-tw8fi True indeed. I've been through a many of heartbreaks in my life. It really sucks the sweat off a dead man's balls.
Sup, Ken? If you’re collecting the Vestrons and don’t yet have the slip cover for EXTREME PREJUDICE, let me know. I’ll gladly mail you mine since I’m not into keeping the Vestron slips. Happy hunting!
I actually do have that one Craig. The only one I need is Class of 99. Thank you though.
I'd say your making enough money from you tube to pay for these movies by now or paying some bills to even it out but good comedy though, hey Ken do you recon you could get haunted hippy on your next collecter Livestream she seems cool and full of knowledge
Lol
We need tougher audits going forward.
Carry on Ken,I think your marriage is safe. This audit has been going on for a while now. We know when women are serious, they start shouting, trust me I know.
Love this series guys!
Thank you for watching!
Career Opportunities is pretty bad.
I missed it. Did she add in all the scream factory shocktober sale stuff?
I have not recieved it yet. It'll go on next month.
You sly with that one. 😂
Inside Out 2 Disc 3D BD release € 5,00
Finaly after more then 7 years, but i don't like at all that Disney only made bonus disc avaible with limited 2D version '' only limited avaible online store and only in preorder time. Mistake there made more, bonus disc should be at both versions and if not always with 3D version. And second again we also not get sleeve as uk. Long wait was i hoped to spot tha 3 disc uk limited or lower price of version i bought.
Avatar 2 better be 3 Disc with a 3D sleeve
DVD:
2067 € 0,50
David Copperfield (2000) Gift.
Hey do u ever respond to the comments we leave u ?
I try to respond to as many as I can Pete. Always read and appreciate you guys watching.
probably make twice the amount in revenue and Tax deductions so she probably stick around
I think these audits are BS LOL I’m calling it as I see it hahaha as long as bills are paid and family is taken care of, who cares what you spend your money on for your hobbies outside of that.
It was only a matter of time. Tried to worn you Michelle. November isn't going to be any cheaper.
hahaha, good video, but it depends on your monthly income as to how 'out there' this spending is :D
That's despicable. 😀😀😀😀
I'm not sure who I feel worse for.
It gets like that sometimes. Lol
I agree. The paranormal activity boxset doesn't look great. I hate the artwork on it lol
I have to agree that artwork is hideous.
Maybe in one of these videos we can add Tax to it. 👍
Shhhhh Jeff!
Zombi 28$ Amazon get the word out
I agree Paranormal Activity set does look generic and cheap
For real bro your wife is divorcing you man.
man I'm glad I'm not married. wife nagging and nagging about how you spend your money. this dude like her wife's the IRS or something lol 😂
Dude I'm going through a divorce. This is not cool to play like this. It takes an emotional toll on you and your making fun of it! Not cool man not cool!!
Making fun of divorce is not the intent of the video Sam. My wife and I are both children of divorce and understand how serious it is. These thumbnails and videos are not to be taken 100% seriously. They are a bit satirical in nature and in that sense, I believe there is humor to be found in anything. I am truly sorry if I have offended you or anyone else. That was not the goal here.
@MidLevelMedia but they are taken seriously. And you know what it looks like. Why else title it that way and play like your wife is upset that it's time for a divorce. You know wtf your doing! And it's not right.
Omg Ken pay this guy no mind, everyone wants be triggered and whine at everything and anything anymore
Go away Karen
Quite frankly this is a disturbing joke. I do not see the humor at all.
Go away Karen
I've spent close to $600.00 myself Ken 😊 😊

Great haul Randy!
@@midlevelmedia Thanks. I figured this month would be not so great because it's my wedding anniversary and was also waiting until Black Friday to really buy anything but the little town we went to had so many awesome deals. This store had multi-buy deals like 10 DVDs/Blu-rays for $5, 10 for 10 etc. I ended up getting these:
Bullet Train 4K W/sleeve $9.99
Minions 4K W/Sleeve $6.99
Lightyear 4K W/Sleeve $7.99
WITCH 4K $4.99
HARRY POTTER COLLECTION W/SLEEVE (4K) $39.99
The Deer King W/Sleeve $5.99
Keep in mind this is in Canadian funds and I asked if he included sales tax and he does so I got the tradition 13% sales tax off the final price.
