It's the worst feeling....ever. I made myself so stressed about it...I got so sick and I nearly went comatose over him...but hes gone, forever. No getting him back and I dont know if I can be that happy ever again...God I hope so

lagh I just went through a break up two days ago. And I did nothing wrong but loved him with everything I had. He hurt me twice. But I believe I can find someone better than him. Not someone like him. Because you won’t grow with someone like him. It’s hard I’m not going to lie but remember that. I see people talking about “the hardest part” well for me the hardest part is knowing there was still work to be done in the relationship but that person just decides to give up on you. You haven’t exhausted all options, and determined that it just isn’t working, but the other person just won’t put in the necessary work to keep the relationship going. It’s left me hurting so much & confused on why it was so hard to love me when all I asked was for the basic necessities of love. Most of us all deserve better, but we just wish that person was the better. Heartbreak fucking sucks

Damn. Yes. I heard. It's my second time I am going through this. I didn't expect I would have to get hurt again, but here I am. All over again. Crying over a man, who broke up saying he doesn't feel that we have a future anymore, and he can't help it. I will have to pick the pieces of my already broken heart, all over again, and mend it. I find some comfort knowing people can explain that gut wrenching heart ripping feeling. Eating feels like a challenge, nights are difficult to sleep through and mornings feel like the beginning of battle.

I feel like I can't make it. Eating,sleeping and going to work and pretending everything is normal is ... I hate the thought of going back home. I dread going to bed every night. I don't have any friends that I am close with and no family. I have to do this solo, in the same house with all the stuff there and no distraction or external support. It's all up to me to make it and I have to make it because otherwise there is no plan B.
@@Suspended24😢 It’s an awful pain, from the inside out. You need to find support, a group online, a counselor (online options), is there an employee assistance plan at your work? Rearrange furniture, remove photos, bring in a new color. Try using isochronic tones and binaural beats to help with depressed feelings/anxiety/sadness. Start watching videos of people who have survived more intense events (helps for perspective). Heartbreak isn’t permanent 🙏🦋

Weve been 10 years together and he dumped me. It Stings but I Think to myself that IF they arę the one we will eventually either come back . I spent Easter weekend with my girlfriend of 2 years. Things had been going pretty good, she had recently voiced she wasnt thrilled about me being a cop, (I'm a month in the police academy) but Easter weekend was beautiful. We loved on each other and really spent quality time with each other and also got to catch up with each others families. Things were going so good. Even through Sunday night. (She spent the night) the next day she said she wasnt happy any more and didnt want to see me anymore.

Time is key. Whoever is reading this, I want you to know, that it gets better with time. I am writing this after 4 months and I am doing way better than I was before. You have to keep reminding yourself that you are good enough and gotta let the feelings of inadequacy not get to you.

@@yocool9883 I don't even know the exact months, maybe 3 now, I refuse to know the date of the heartbreak/betrayal.. But it does get better. Even though i'm typing this after not eating all day and getting up late and sobbing for half an hour, it still does get better. I am fighting right now, even still, to love and care for myself, hence why i'm on this video. I have a few set backs, I have to still get my stuff from my partner hence why we are in ocassional contact, which sets me back yards. However, there was a point last month where I didn't even think about her for a few days. I had peace. No contact is key, keeping busy and working towards goals, and 100% what he said about filling the voids. Me and her used to love raves, so I've found someone else to go with now. The key is to just keep pushing. I still often feel like I can't even breathe, but just know you're not alone, and keep getting up and trying again. Much love

Considering the size of our population I'd think that this would have hundreds of millions of views. Everyone goes through this and some people go through it many many times.
Day 1 of healing from my current heartbreak. This isn’t my first one, or this wasn’t my longest relationship. But this break up really hurt because of it being so abrupt after I thought we were so healthy. I mistakenly thought chemistry= compatibility and here I am. my ex valued me so much that he told me to broke up with him because he knew that i deserve way more. I love him and he loves me but I wont put anyone to change for me. He knows that he is different. He suffers a lot for the fact that he cant give me what I want, and to clearify the things all the things were little things.

Focus on yourself, start exercising, start learning something you wanted to. Now you have so much more time. Accept the pain, don't hold it in yourself, cry if you can, it really helps. Continue working through pain, don't spend your time suffering and doing nothing. Even if your brain is not as focused as it used to be, still persist in your beginnings. You have to become in harmony with youtself to overcome this.

For anyone reading this, when your heart breaks and I mean, really breaks, you'll wake up every day for months and they'll be the first thing on your mind. Until one day, they're the second. Then the third. One day, though, you'll wake up and they don't be there at all. Time does make us stronger. I've had my heart splattered on the side of the road, but I know (and you will too) that love is not a finite resource. Look within and there's a wellspring :)
That is very true! After two months of pain and depression, today I caught myself thinking that it's been a couple of hours since I woke up, and he pop up in my mind much later than usual!! that also gave me clarity and understanding that it’s over for real, and it’s time to move on. But of course it will take me more months to completely heal, as I know myself, but I had the time to think about how bad he would make me feel a lot of the times, things I didn’t see or just avoid before because love is blindness ❤

Same here, Im on month 2 and she is still the first thought in my mind when I wake up. The pain is unbearable some days like I wonder when is it gonna end, Im starting to realize its gonna be a while until I feel better so Im not comparing to anyones healing journey. Its more painful couse we are on good terms and she still likes me but doesnt love me, so Im asking myself why so many times and thinking why it was my fault she fell out of love, but now I know those are just intrusive thoughts. Im giving myself distance from her couse we still want to keep in touch, and the only way to do it in a more healthy way is to first heal. I only trust time, that this will pass. I really hope it will pass.
I have loved 4 times . When my last loved-one dumped me when I needed him most I landed in a psyche ward. Unresolved childhood trauma resurfaced in my grief of losing this man and I ended up on anti-psychotics. Four years on I am strong, resolute and living an independent life...but I still love the very bones of that man and probably always will.

23 years old and laying in bed after 7 beers with work in 5 hours. Only a month has passed since my third and most brutal heartbreak because I thought she was the one, but this video really put things in different perspectives for me. The worst pain I've ever felt, was when I realized how quickly my ex got over our relationship. How quickly they stopped loving me. Being left to wonder, if we ever loved each other the same. I would not wish this pain upon anyone.
Yo I was ready to marry this girl. Making plans to go meet with her homophobic family (I was gonna win them over bc I am a legit person) and I knew she was gonna propose. Less than 12 hours she got drunk (I’m in recovery) and sent me messages that crossed my personal boundaries (for the 4th time and 2nd time in 24hrs) and pretended to be me and cancelled my flight while I was taking a nap. I said some horrible stuff that I’ve never told anyone in my entire life. I feel bad. I know it’s bc my inner child felt wounded bc I told her and finally admitted to be vulnerable and make a 2 year commitment to her. Yet she wanted to still play high school games. So I reverted back to default mode and was cruel. Yet I was only pushed to the end after waking up from what I said before AND her saying she was cutting the chord even tho I said the next time we end it, it will be over bc we go back and forth. I feel bad for what I said. I also feel like I need to respect myself and hold true to my word. My therapist said this is karma getting me back for all the heartbreak I caused bc this is my first time getting my heartbroken that wasn’t caused by me using and ruining a relationship.

She had recently ended things because she didn’t know what she wanted anymore and didn’t want to keep on leading me on cause it would only hurt me more. I recently had asked her if there is an opportunity for us still and she responded with “There is but not now”. Her past relationship had really affected her but our relationship was completely different to her her past one. But how do you let yourself fall in love without attachment? I've been in relationships when I've realised I'm not in love and not going to be. I felt it's my obligation to end them because I felt it's unfair to the other person who has feelings I will never have. And when I've been in love, and it's always a risk that, my feelings might outlast theirs. To be in love but indifferent. Sounds like the ideal, but it also sounds impossible.
The toughest part of letting go is realizing the other person already did and the saddest part of is saying goodbye to someone you wish to spend your lifetime with. Heartbreak can strike at any age and like Guy said, it can happen to anybody. If you're going through it just know that you are not alone and it WILL get better. I find some comfort while reading the comment section, knowing that not only me who has to experience broken heart. IT HURTS, IT IS PAINFUL. Too painful sometimes i just wanna cry my eyes out and go completely insane. When I say i might have depression if I stay painful like this for too long, some people might not understand and think that im overreacting but I'M NOT. I'm in pain. @@EmiDucky I confessed yesterday, I knew for sure he will reject me, but I still confessed and it did happen. But you know what, the good thing is this confession helps with the process of moving on. I still cried, but this time, something's different, I try to find myself once again.

So much more important is to make sure that if you've ever been heartbroken then not to take it out on your next emotional connection. Be compassionate. Just got heartbroken and deceived myself by this girl who took it to having me meet her parents and ask her hand only to completely back off last min. We had talked about our past heartbreaks and I thought she would be compassionate after going through it. Apparently, she just used me to get over her last ex. I had stayed away from relationships for the last 3 years to completely recover myself from my last.. only to fall into her trap. But I will not turn toxic. I will still open my arms and heart for the right person. I will not carry her baggage and break someone else's heart to fix mine.
First breakup and it feels like I'm about to die. But everything on the comments is true: if they cherished, valued or loved you more, you both could have worked things out. Even though hope is the worst for this kind of situations, maybe they will understand things and be ready to try again someday. Hey, buddy! You know what? It's been over a year that my ex broke up with me. I was almost certain that I had finally overcome him, and my love for him. I actually thought, a year is enough to forget someone. I saw his picture again today. And I bawled my eyes out. Yet again. And it is the happy memories with them that are dangerous and terrible, and not the sad ones, the ones that show us the very reason the break up happened. I remember how he was grocery shopping with his roommates one day, being all funny and crazy and video calling me at the same time, notwithstanding what the world thought of him, because back then, apparently, I mattered more. He talked of marriage and children and a future together. He called me "My girl." The memories I had with him were the most magical and overwhelming I ever had. But he broke up, in some months. Reason? He still missed his ex. :) Waking up with the memories is the worst, I agree with you so completely in that. But there's much MUCH more to us than what hurt us, right? Hold on to that! I see people talking about “the hardest part” well for me the hardest part is knowing there was still work to be done in the relationship but that person just decides to give up on you. You haven’t exhausted all options, and determined that it just isn’t working, but the other person just won’t put in the necessary work to keep the relationship going. Damn. Yes. I heard. It's my second time I am going through this. I didn't expect I would have to get hurt again, but here I am. All over again. Crying over a man, who broke up saying he doesn't feel that we have a future anymore, and he can't help it. I will have to pick the pieces of my already broken heart, all over again, and mend it. But I guess that's the beauty of life. It will all be worth in few months or a year. And if I live 70 years, 1 year on a wrong person isn't a lot. Isn't it? It's already been few days, and in few more days, it will be months. And I will again be feeling a lil better about my existence. Till then, we fight.
I find some comfort knowing people can explain that gut wrenching heart ripping feeling. Eating feels like a challenge, nights are difficult to sleep through and mornings feel like the beginning of battle.
I can so relate. I felt absolutely broken when my ex left. I didn't have healthy ways of processing, I just wanted to numb the pain. I hope you have a good support system.
I feel like I can't make it. Eating,sleeping and going to work and pretending everything is normal is ... I hate the thought of going back home. I dread going to bed every night. I don't have any friends that I am close with and no family. I have to do this solo, in the same house with all the stuff there and no distraction or external support. It's all up to me to make it and I have to make it because otherwise there is no plan B.

Try using isochronic tones and binaural beats to help with depressed feelings/anxiety/sadness.
Start watching videos of people who have survived more intense events (helps for perspective). Heartbreak isn’t permanent 🙏🦋

I spent Easter weekend with my girlfriend of 2 years. Things had been going pretty good, she had recently voiced she wasnt thrilled about me being a cop, (I'm a month in the police academy) but Easter weekend was beautiful. We loved on each other and really spent quality time with each other and also got to catch up with each others families. Things were going so good. Even through Sunday night. (She spent the night) the next day she said she wasnt happy any more and didnt want to see me anymore.

Even though i'm typing this after not eating all day and getting up late and sobbing for half an hour, it still does get better. I am fighting right now, even still, to love and care for myself, hence why i'm on this video. I have a few set backs, I have to still get my stuff from my partner hence why we are in ocassional contact, which sets me back yards. However, there was a point last month where I didn't even think about her for a few days. I had peace. No contact is key, keeping busy and working towards goals, and 100% what he said about filling the voids. Me and her used to love raves, so I've found someone else to go with now. The key is to just keep pushing. I still often feel like I can't even breathe, but just know you're not alone, and keep getting up and trying again. Much love

Focus on yourself, start exercising, start learning something you wanted to. Now you have so much more time. Accept the pain, don't hold it in yourself, cry if you can, it really helps. Continue working through pain, don't spend your time suffering and doing nothing. Even if your brain is not as focused as it used to be, still persist in your beginnings. You have to become in harmony with youtself to overcome this.

For anyone reading this, when your heart breaks and I mean, really breaks, you'll wake up every day for months and they'll be the first thing on your mind. Until one day, they're the second. Then the third. One day, though, you'll wake up and they don't be there at all. Time does make us stronger. I've had my heart splattered on the side of the road, but I know (and you will too) that love is not a finite resource. Look within and there's a wellspring :)

After two months of pain and depression, today I caught myself thinking that it's been a couple of hours since I woke up, and he pop up in my mind much later than usual!! that also gave me clarity and understanding that it’s over for real, and it’s time to move on. I have loved 4 times . When my last loved-one dumped me when I needed him most I landed in a psyche ward. Unresolved childhood trauma resurfaced in my grief of losing this man and I ended up on anti-psychotics. Yo I was ready to marry this girl. Making plans to go meet with her homophobic family (I was gonna win them over bc I am a legit person) and I knew she was gonna propose.
Less than 12 hours she got drunk (I’m in recovery) and sent me messages that crossed my personal boundaries (for the 4th time and 2nd time in 24hrs) and pretended to be me and cancelled my flight while I was taking a nap.
I said some horrible stuff that I’ve never told anyone in my entire life. I feel bad. I know it’s bc my inner child felt wounded bc I told her and finally admitted to be vulnerable and make a 2 year commitment to her. Yet she wanted to still play high school games. So I reverted back to default mode and was cruel.
Yet I was only pushed to the end after waking up from what I said before AND her saying she was cutting the chord even tho I said the next time we end it, it will be over bc we go back and forth.
I feel bad for what I said. I also feel like I need to respect myself and hold true to my word.
My therapist said this is karma getting me back for all the heartbreak I caused bc this is my first time getting my heartbroken that wasn’t caused by me using and ruining a relationship.
A year ago i broke up with my ex and i came across this video and i saved the video thinking i would be back after i heal my broken heart. I remember watching this video with a sour and muded head. But how do you let yourself fall in love without attachment? I've been in relationships when I've realised I'm not in love and not going to be. I felt it's my obligation to end them because I felt it's unfair to the other person who has feelings I will never have.
And when I've been in love, and it's always a risk that, my feelings might outlast theirs. To be in love but indifferent. Sounds like the ideal, but it also sounds impossible.

I find some comfort while reading the comment section, knowing that not only me who has to experience broken heart. IT HURTS, IT IS PAINFUL. Too painful sometimes i just wanna cry my eyes out and go completely insane. When I say i might have depression if I stay painful like this for too long, some people might not understand and think that im overreacting but I'M NOT. I'm in pain. So much more important is to make sure that if you've ever been heartbroken then not to take it out on your next emotional connection. Be compassionate. Just got heartbroken and deceived myself by this girl who took it to having me meet her parents and ask her hand only to completely back off last min. We had talked about our past heartbreaks and I thought she would be compassionate after going through it. Apparently, she just used me to get over her last ex. I had stayed away from relationships for the last 3 years to completely recover myself from my last.. only to fall into her trap. But I will not turn toxic. I will still open my arms and heart for the right person. I will not carry her baggage and break someone else's heart to fix mine.
First breakup and it feels like I'm about to die. But everything on the comments is true: if they cherished, valued or loved you more, you both could have worked things out. Even though hope is the worst for this kind of situations, maybe they will understand things and be ready to try again someday. Men, how I wish I could relate to this. But no. She's still the person I want to be with. She just need to sort her problem. And I understand that. Soo it's not because of hate, or cheating or any of that. She's none of that. And it was a LDR. I know she have problems, some she share, some she doesn't share. Hey, buddy! You know what? It's been over a year that my ex broke up with me. I was almost certain that I had finally overcome him, and my love for him. I actually thought, a year is enough to forget someone.
I saw his picture again today. And I bawled my eyes out. Yet again.
And it is the happy memories with them that are dangerous and terrible, and not the sad ones, the ones that show us the very reason the break up happened. I remember how he was grocery shopping with his roommates one day, being all funny and crazy and video calling me at the same time, notwithstanding what the world thought of him, because back then, apparently, I mattered more. He talked of marriage and children and a future together. He called me "My girl."
The memories I had with him were the most magical and overwhelming I ever had. But he broke up, in some months. Reason? He still missed his ex. :)
