You are both gentlemen and scholars. I can't tell you how much that I agree with your comments and analysis concerning the big picture. I don't believe for a millisecond that 4 conferences truly want to do all the work that replacing the NCAA would entail. Not a chance. If they had, they would have done so 40 years ago after they won the big TV case against the NCAA. No, they have some specific goals, but work? What's that? They are allergic to work outside of what they are already doing.
Big B, I have a story for you with regard to your former hometown school and Title IX. A friend of mine is sitting next to the Women's Rowing Coach as incoming students are going through a line of tables at orientation. In comes a relatively tall girl with apparent upper body strength, and the rowing coach asks her, "Would you like a full scholarship?" Apparently the women's rowing team needs a large roster and can therefore give out a large number of scholarships, which helps for Title IX purposes. As a retired women's high school coach, I know the great benefit that Title IX has been, but yeah, sometimes common sense is appropriate.
The weather is crazy, I live in Provo, Utah and have only gotten one inch the whole winter and it changed to rain and melted within an hour or two and have not had any snow the rest of the winter. All the storms have been rain or rain snow mix.
Your commissioner is needed is hyperbole. Commissioners are limited by the politics. Big 12 has always had a commissioner, who couldn’t act until Texas left.
College Football Championship vs. College Football National Invitational Tournament! What problems are there with these two tournaments being held simultaneously?
Just out of curiosity...How do you suppose athletic conferences are going to handle the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from the college athletic conference perspective?
@@nomadwildcatfan lol You think Musk and friends will confine their focus to official Federal government entities? Greenland, Panama Canal, Gulf of Mexico, abortion stance all point to the contrary. The new administration thinks they have a mandate and will not be restrained as they go about their work. Plus, narrowly, tons of federal dollars flow to universities in the US so there can easily be an impact if Musk and pals shut off the spigot.
@@nomadwildcatfan Considering tons of government money end up going to many of these large schools, it could very well have an effect. DOGE isn't going to be willingly confined to just the federal government. New administration feels they have a mandate, they are already into plenty of non federal government entities like Greenland, Panama canal and Gulf of Mexico
So in the *_now_* top three football, only one of the teams is affiliated with the SEC and they just arrived from the BigXII. How do we come up with a fair way to decide matchups in college sports championships? DR. JOHN NASH Game Theory. A college solution for a college problem. *THERE* !!

We've got 6+ inches of snow here in North Texas about 50 minutes north of Dallas.

Need to rephrase it. P4 members are not pressuring “the ncaa”. They are pressuring the other NCAA members
He just said the SEC cheated there as off 26:20 😂 It's true I had a family who went to LSU in 2010. They were paying him under the table 🤫
North Dakota St fans look like they are having way more fun than Toledo
NCAA is a membership. P4 members can pull out but they don’t want the governing headache

He who has the gold makes the rules. Conferences has the football gold since OU sued in the 80’s
Time for a Yormark interview yet???

This is ridiculous. Just give me the money and I will declare a champion.

Considering DOGE's sole focus is Federal goverment entities, it will have 0 effect.

International issues like Greenland and Panama Canal are Federal issues per Constitution.

The individual schools have always been in charge. The school members voted to absolve themselves from cooperating with investigations
I was guilty of emphasizing yhr Ppwers, but yhe G6 needs involvement. 😊
