Always Always use primer first and clear glue is stronger then the blue glue. That is primarily used on leaking lines. A compression coupler would be easier to install and give you a little flexibility. I have installed thousands of feet of water lines and learned a lot of this the hard way. Have fun and stay safe!
Really happy to see that y'all didn't get hammered with the storm that came out of the Gulf of Mexico just recently. My first adventure with an excavator was about 12 years ago but it was a much bigger excavator. John Deere 135c. It takes a little gettin use to a new piece of equipment but you'll get there. Learnin how to feather the controls or the (joy sticks) can be a bit tricky I will say. Ya done pretty dang good Tyler!
Great video, I would highly recommend the freeze proof faucet. They are well worth the effort for the rare times that a hard freeze comes around. Really enjoy your videos, keep up the good work 👍
Did good for a beginner. Dig over the blade, more stable. Doze with one hand on lever, other on dozer controll. I’ve run every size hoe from minis to mass excavators for over 50 years. 30 inch frost line minimum in Southcentral Kansas, with metal freeze type hydrants.
You might want to put a 4x4 treated post right beside the water faucet and install a few straps affixing the water line to the post to give it some stability. A no freeze faucet would be good, not so much for freezing but for support, hate to bust a plastic water riser. Also the no freeze faucet has a bucket hanger on it too.
That my friends was an awesome video you did an amazing job very proud of you guys I really enjoyed it very interesting And that’s an awesome machine saved a lot of back work eh Tyler 😂😂😂 thank you for sharing
You guys and gals get any of the Hurricane in the past few days? Lots of rain, but looks like you were needing some. I was thinking a trencher or a single tooth subsoiler, but you got the pipe laid under ground...and looks like a job done good enuf for who its for.
Was thinking the same they make trenchers that work off a 3 point tractor hitch and the ones that are self contained used both of them my dad was in charge of the community water system where i grew up so when i was a kid that was my summer job and saturdays during school we had both kinds of trenchers one time or another but use what you got or whats available i spent alot of shovel time on saturdays while dad hung out with his drinking buddies at the service station down the road
Check out the Mini Excavator here!

I love the music, Leaning On The Everlasting Arms.
I think you caught on to the min-excavator very quickly Tyler, good job! See you next week.
Wrapped the Teflon tape on the wrong way 😊
It's a good idea to leave a mound on the ditch line for a few rains to allow for settling and smooth it out later.
Joisas that ground with the rock in is like my yard. And I am in the land of Oz on the other side, mush in winter bends crowbars in summer,
Good job

Thanks so much! We will probably add one there.
That's great if you can keep it!!!! Then Brit doesn't have to carry water anymore. Woohoo 😅😅 Keep up the great work. Your videos are AWESOME

Хорошая работа! Классное, интересное получилось видео! Мне очень понравилось! Круто Круто!!!👍👍👍
Fun watching you get the hang of it, but you finally did, job well done, save you all back carrying water.
Yes indeed! Thanks for watching!
Sure nice to have water over there now.
Nice job you two. Stay safe.
Good work , you are a jack of all trades !! 🚧🪵🐴
Thanks! I try!
Tylor you make that mini exo look like a pup. Great job
It is small and compact! That’s a good thing for certain jobs!
If you haven’t covered it up yet be sure to add an electrical run too. Then plug in bug zappers to help control the fly’s and other bugs.
We have overhead electrical coming soon.
I'm sure your Belgians are pleased and impressed! Well done.🐎🐎
Great job TY. Put some glue on Brits hand!! Yes pressure test is needed. Fantastic job Tyler. Camera woman is just as important 😂😂😂😂😂. 😂
You're more than just a sawmill guy .😮😮
I like your video's you are a Jack trades.
I would like to see video's of you all hunting.

Make sure you deep enough to avoid freezing the line and also bury a tracer wire with the new line so it can be located at a later time.
Kodos to the camera lady. Good job. Hope the storm missed you. Later.
Nice lil mini ex. Enjoy y’all’s videos 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Put a metal stake at the barn and strap it down to protect from above ground flex.
Good job with the install 👍
Another great video guys, and nice little excavator, great job!👍🏻
Glad you don't have to worry about a "freeze " line.
Excellent Job !
Your lucky our water line,as , have to be at least 9ft deep.
I cannot lie, I was waiting for the bucket to slap the side of the house. Those are some touchy controls.
Good idea would have been to put the spicket inside of the barn!
Next time try a narrow bucket for trenching,
How many other projects can now finish while you have this mini-excavator?😊😊😊
Nice video and good job
Try turning the blade to the front it will stabilize your dig.
That my friends was an awesome video you did an amazing job very proud of you guys I really enjoyed it very interesting And that’s an awesome machine saved a lot of back work eh Tyler 😂😂😂 thank you for sharing
I love that y’all play religious music as your background music
Just a thought from my experience, might want to put a cut off on the barn side in case of a leak. You won’t have to cut the house water off.
Must be it never freezes there since you have the faucet outside. Nice work. Thanks for the video.
It will definitely freeze where they are. Will have to be covered or swapped out for a freeze proof faucet, like he said.
Should have put a hydrant in with a seep bed under it. Will never freeze.
Use a slide couple and a tee
Put in a 2' bury hydrant so It will not freeze.
I think you needed a smaller mini x. 😂😂😂😂 jkjk. You got the job done...that's all that matters.
I guess you guys were not affected by Francine👍👍👍
May I suggest you pound a rebar link at the end so you don't break off your new riser.
Just cut the pipe and buy a compression sleeve with your 90 degree elbow. Then you don't have fight with just an elbow fitting.
should have run an electric conduit for electric for the future light at the barn
Did u say you rented that mini excavator? Thank you.
👍👍👍👍👍
It would have taken about an hour to dig with a trencher. You wouldn't have to move 1/2 the dirt.
Won't be long until those pipe joints start to fail, they were all glued wrong.
lol I been doing it for years this way with 0 failures.

Wouldn't a trencher be better, but not near as much fun LOL
Next time rent a trencher.

I bought a towbehind backhoe
You have a silly rooster
I think miss Brittney could have handled the machine controls with a lighter touch and been more interesting to watch. 😊
Reduce your RPMs it works the same
Mexican cartels, fueled by cantaloupe, intercepted sunshine, sweet sunshine, on their mobil phones.
Why did you not just rent a small ditch witch I don’t think you need 6 in water line
Mike, I’m sure your opinion matters so much to them
That makes sence
@@GSUbassdad KOMA
Rent a trencher.
And tell us , Do blondes really have more fun in Mississippi ?
Should have traded some sawing work with Cotontop3 ? Better Lucky than good ? Good timing on getting a machine to us for free ?
