Would very much appreciate full translations when you have time, Arty will sometimes comment "they're just saying hello" or something but I feel so much is missed and its awesome that replays capture chat.
He knew he was outmatched and already was lossing this mentally. Banter like that helps to get out of shock of playing vs someone much higher than you in elo ranking.

That was awesome, he really punished the zerg when he wasn't looking. He did it with the mutas as well. Moved up next to them with vessels but didn't cast. Zerg must have seen it and thought he didn't have energy but will have soon so he backed off and went back to macroing. But just as he did he got irradiated.
Probably a happy accident tbh, irradiate hadn't finished researching yet and he cast it basically immediately once it finished. It just so happened Killer didn't notice his mutas got irradiated until it was too late.
@@nesssixteen6106 Oh yeah you're right. He literally casted right when the upgrade finished. The mutas flying away at that moment was definitely just a coincidence.
@@nesssixteen6106 hm yeah you're right. Probably a happy accident. Still though, the whole "hold it until they stop microing and cast it at the last possible moment as they go back to macro" move could be replicated on purpose.
Zerg also just let his lurkers keep shooting at the single d-matrixed marine instead of making them shoot at the ramp. Nature of the game, if you look away for a second you can lose.
Artosis describes play strategies like an old wise single man talking about how he made billions and living a life, but when he plays by himself - he is like a nerd programmer begging a girl in night club to marry him.
Title and thumbnail of this video is legit perfect. Great casting as always. Thanks Artosis! You always post a video right around the time I get home from work so I ALWAYS have a new game to watch. I love the consistency and hope I can keep watching you for years to come.
Hey RT! Wanted to say, you mentioned near the end that you were expecting a long game, I used a metric you've mentioned before, the queens nest should start around the same time as the factory for an "equal" tech game. Factory for light started at around 6:20 which felt very fast, although i wouldn't know exactly how fast that is, queen's nest starts 7:10 the factory is nearly done. I was honestly expecting maybe valks and maybe even a mech switch with the fast factory and low rax count, instead he want straight for vessels and blocked the mutas beautifully (Loved seeing the immediate double turret on the rax, "i refuse to die to all in mutas") Obviously light ended up getting a quick killmove with the matrix and run up the ramp. My question was do you think that fast factory straight into vessels would have been telling anyway? I remember thinking "wow, there's gonna be so much irradiate." Thanks for another TvZ! quickly becoming my favorite matchup, especially when light is playing it. can't wait for ASL, gg!
Hey Artosis, long time viewer. I love your videos but as good as Broodwar is I wouldn't watch Broodwar without you. Your passion and personality show the full spectrum of the human experience and life itself. The ecstasy of victory, the pain of defeat, the rage and the unfairness. Even with your caster hat on, it all comes through and I love how you manage to stay perfectly authentic while casting professionally. Your words say the greedy cross spawn nexus first is good play, but your vocal micro expressions tell us what you really think haha. You followed your passion and you made it work, and I find that incredibly inspiring and I hope to do the same. I wish you and your family nothing but the best
it does make the start of my day better. Love seeing your vids always come up on my YT feed/notifcations. Thanks man, glad I support the best game of all time and the game that will NEVER die.
I agree with what you said about the complexity of the game, because units are clunky, positions arent perfectly symmetrical, and mechanics restrict efficient apm. The maps too have interesting interactions. I think of ramps in sc2 and brood war and they are so different. Maps in sc2 are beautiful, have special animations and lightning ,but they feel so much more basic strategy wise. I love Broodwar and sc2.
So sad to see another Imba Teran wins with no skills. He's lucky that the zerg wasnt looking. The zerg had 150% economy and cannot win, so Terran units are 50% op.
Light knew he could make that play because the mutas were so soft as well. That Irradiate was so huge. I feel like Killer clicked his mutas to move away and then jumped screen thinking that light wouldnt get the Irradiate off, but Light did get it off at the last second, and Killer never split. GG
I really liked the commentary on the use of move commands to not trigger the "being attacked" warning at the end. But based on the Mutas being moved to that position right when the marines were going up the map, it seems like Killer was already looking there and just fumbled the re-targeting. Or am I mistaken?
After watching Artosis casts: -I know what 4pool is -I know what over-pool is - I know where to put missile turrets on every ladder map After watching the stream on Twitch: -I know now what goonin means 😄
Honest noob question 10:29 If you sit the mutas above creep, don't they regenerate a bit faster? Or is it the same wherever? Can't remember if this was a factor or maybe I'm confusing SC2 creep regen.
I do love the weird crognules that force you to adapt to the map. Like trees giving cover, reeds blocking vision, vespene geysers being larger when they're unbuilt. Borked Pathing is still annoying af tho
I don't think it's possible to listen to an Arty cast and not have your mood improved by his absolute love of the game.

I loved the explanation at the end of the move only commands. Bravo Arty.
Holy that bust was maybe the sickest one in all my memories of the game.
haha cool move at the end thx for the cast
I agree
That was fast.
Artosis claimed the wall to be airtight but mutalisks can fly over it with ease. Perplexing....
Actually laughed
Only 2.5 d game SMH
Mutalisks can fly in space, so it is fine.
You say we should improve society, yet you participate in it. Curious...

Props to that hero marine

that might be a little tactic in the future to irradiate the mutas once they start running so you know the z isn't actively microing.
