Godin make fantastic guitars,, sometimes they don't look as graceful or as vintage as other companies but I think they try to always be original.
One of my main guitars is a 1998 Godin SD-24 that I bought from a pawn shop for about $250 back in 2007 and it has never let me down.
Had 6 so far. Kept 4. Love them.
It’s an amazing axe. The acoustic sound is gorgeous. Thanks for this demo John
Godin continues to impress. Great review John. Thank you
Godin are incredibly well built. Fast ergonomically easy to play. My friend got a used. Godin electric. For 200. The only weak spot are the pick ups.I told put in Lindy fralins. He did for I think 300 That guitar is better than 3,000 fender or Gibson s. The neck s are comfy. Easy fast
love Godin so much technology in a great looking and playing package. Great demo Mr B!
That was awesome, you really let it go on those licks, great presentation, thanks!
I always love your playing John. This was particularly tasty today. Rock on!!
John is a great player and host. Love his interviews. Godin builds great innovative and original instruments with quality materials for reasonable prices. That extends to their associated brands like Seagull, La Patrie, Simon and Patrick, Norman and Art & Lutherie.
Btw; that Sesame Street lick at the end I used to do with a band 30 years ago….🤣😂
I have a couple of Godin guitars. Solid build, interesting features and individual aesthetics.
Fantastic demo. Beautiful playing as always. The acoustic option on this sounds very natural. Lots of tonal options there for sure.
Great playing man! 🤘 Nice demo too. That's a beautiful guitar.
I'm still interested in getting the Godin LGXT ever since I watched Steve Stevens of Billy Idol fame (among many others) demo his years ago.
Great Video, thanks. My teacher and good friend Steve Fister is playing Godin guitars and they sound really good and are road tested.
I have the natural model. It's fantastic. Very interesting mix of pickups and positions. Serious tonal opportunities. Very easy to play scale length. As with Godin, Fit and finish is second to none IMHO.
Good to see u again Jon. Where have u been?
Since the past 20 years i Play Godin guitar their really good!
*there
I just love listening to John's playing.
That's was really cool John. I love that JAZZY BLUES riff.
Great playing Bollinger
"Tears in heaven" very sublime, John. 🙏
I like that guitar. Nice job on the demo
Wonderful playing!
There's something weird but truly satisfying about that guitar
Yeah buddy! Tell me how to get to Sesame St!
Awesome demo JB!! As much as I like that, I have a sweet ash tele shaped blank I've been saving for years. Now I have some great ideas!! 8) --gary
Really nice work horse guitar
Good job with this demo! Excellent playing loved it.
GREAT DEMO OF A COOL GUITAR!
Mr B playing some tasty links on a tasty Guitar. ;)
Nice feel, John
Love it.
This is the first time I've seen a guitar come with two different pickup brands
i got this guitar and its a lot of fun
i wanted to take a look how many bazillion dollars they charge for that but the website says "this product can not be purchased" 🤷♂
It’s around $2,250.
You need to purchase it through an authorized Godin dealer.
Expensive and attractive but they really missed a trick here not incorporating coil split on those humbuckers. Put a split in and you then got a really interesting package with a wider range
Great playing John! Best Regards!
looks super cool...I wish it was cheaper, but with inflation I guess it's legit..I gotta test drive this one
I've got 3 guitars like this and all of them are hardtails. (PRS, Michael Kelly & Rick Turner) I thought I was satisfied.
You've gone and fueled my G.A.S. again John. Didn't think a wiggle stick would appeal to me.
It's the larger nut width for me. Godin necks are just more comfortable for me.
That's certainly some of the more "believable" acoustic tones I've heard. Godin is a great brand and makes some of the best out there. Thanks for the review, sorry demo...
Would love to know what his setup is. John can make a 2x4 sound great. But this is a really great sounding guitar.
Got 2 nylons. They are my main instruments. Good thing Godins are hard to find around here or I’d have more. Like an electric…
I don't like the shape, but it has a great sound.
gota Godin freeway SA and by all rights its great guitar, specially if you have a midi like a gr55
Like a more practical acoustasonic
I have a Godin tele. They make great stuff.
I bought a guitar this guy demoed and I don't sound anything like him.
at the very beginning i thought you were goin Big Log by Robert Plant lol
It feels like a sweeter, richer, Telecaster
I've owned numerous Godin guitars over my 50 yrs of playing. No bad, but never really fit my playing or my tone profiles.
bare knuckle pick ups suck
Sounds like Robert plant
