- In this video, I am going throught a global description then carry on with a demo of the different tones of the instrument.. One thing I forgot to mention is that the finish is not polyurethane but a lacquer similar to French lacquer polish which makes the guitar breathe..
Great guitar builder. Godin supplies the entire American guitar industry with their high end lumber. I built for Collings back in the early 2000, he got all his Brazilian from Godin. Supposedly, Godin has one of the largest caches of pre-cites Brazillian on the planet.
Thanks for your input.. I never worry about wood quality when I pick their guitar.. They usually lay to rest any slab of wood for at least 2 years, in a controlled temperature warehouse before it's turned into a guitar..
I'm Godin fan and Godin are overlook by guitar player in America !

Godin is top notch. I have a very old Godin LG solid South American mahogany with Seymore Duncan PAF's. This has been my go to working guitar for many years, The best blues guitar I've ever played. It cleans up deep and mellow but is still articulate when pushing the amp.
Agree.. Those older LG's were made with top quality mahogany and had great sustain as well.. Many of them were equipped with SD pickups also.. Can't go wrong with that..

La Summit Classic n'a rien à envier à une Lespaul Standard .. Pour avoir les 2 je les sais.. La Stadium Pro est toute une Telecaster. Elliot Easton des Cars qui est un fana des Telecaster, en a une aussi.. Content de savoir que tu as apprécié la vidéo malgré que le son n'était pas à son meilleur.. Je ferai la prochaine fois un meilleur setup pour le son.. Merci :)

You're absolutely right on Godin being overlooked. I have a Radium (not the Radium X) and it's my favourite guitar. It is also very versatile with a HSH setup and coil splitting on the humbuckers. Not as high end as the Radium X but definitely an amazing guitar.
Thanks a lot! I am glad you find my statement not so biased or exaggerated.. They are very well known for their Multiac acoustics and perhaps Jazz boxes but few talk about their solid bodies.. My channel is not about guitar and gear. My strength is illustrations and graphic novels. I've seen the Radium and love the rustic rock machine look and feel of it and it's 3 pickups configuration makes it very versatile as well.. I got the Radium X because I wanted the trem bar and the Piezzo. However some player never use the trem bar and the Radium is a great guitar as well..

I want this guitar in solid color ! the sound is stunning, but natural wood is not my thing. Please Godin, make it in Black, or Gold.
I see your point. There is a burst version. A very good demo was done by Premier guitar with it.. I guess they have so much resources at their hands and do their best to please as many players as they can.. Maybe you can write them or even better personalize it to your taste by sanding it and painting over it with some paint you could get at Stewmac for example... It's a very light finish and quite easy to sand.. Which makes it even more resonant..Thanks for watching..

Thanks a lot.. I was worried about the DIY nature of my presentation and the sound quality wouldn't be convincing.. BTW the cat is a little stray cat I adopted .. She is very sweet but very attention seeking also..It's just funny..
