1978 Ludwig Acrolite Sound Test

This is a 1978 Ludwig Acrolite 5x14 snare drum in near mint condition. Everything is original except for the new heads I put on. Decided to press record and just jam out for a bit. This snare looks and feels fantastic, but as well as it fits in with my custom SJC kit, I still prefer my 7x13 SJC custom snare :-)

I got a '78 too. same conditions. Like the damping mechanism. I heard Ludwig reissued the acrolyte again. Great snare.
