How to fix HTC Ramdump 2 USB Mode (900e)

Update: if you hold the power button down for 30 seconds, the phone will reboot to normal mode. (not a hard reset like it says on the screen)
So this video is a bit pointless now 😃
My HTC U12 Plus regularly crashes and goes into Ramdump2USB mode.
Usually when it's in my pocket on a hot day.
I am sure it is the touch sensitive Power button that is at fault, when the phone gets too warm. I push the power button but nothing happens.
I thought my phone was bricked until I found this solution.
