Uninstall 'android webview' updates in app settings and also uninstall chrome updates. Problem will be fixed. This fix was officially posted by Xiaomi recently. Most of the indians dont know that because india has forbidden/banned Xiaomi official websites.

Tip, don't factory reset your phone for something small, it's a waist of time/frustrating, also sometime it's the app it self.

@@mopsik667 Try uninstalling Android system webview. If you can't uninstall that then:
1) Settings
2) Apps
3) Manage apps
4) Click three dots in the right corner and click "show all apps"
5) Search and click on "Android system webview"
6) Click on uninstall updates

Hello Xiaomi please fix the app crash problem in redmi 8a dual pleasee almost all apps and games crash easily many times pleaseee.
They won't fix it ,i have Redmi 9a and i have the same problem .
The only way to fix it is to buy a Samsung phone
My phone used to crash apps for no reason sometimes it's like a half crash so the app sometimes reset they get into a 4 sec softlock and then the app goes back to it's main screen so for example if I'm on YT watching a vid or a short it will take me back right to the main screen or the vid restarts or just pauses it's kinda annoying.

@@sam-kd7hp well i just figured that there's probably no fix to this as of now. I think there's something wrong in the motherboard im not quite sure tho, im still facing these problems even tho i did a factory reset twice so its most likely to be the motherboard or something like that im not an expert. Take ur phone to a shop and tell them what the problem is and maybe they can help, otherwise i don't have any other idea on how to fix this issue

will never buy a xiaomi tv again. its my second one and as the first one after using it for few months it keeps crashing. called support and they sent a guy over (living in china) and all he did was reinstall the apps which crashes (5-6 of them) which i have done already and left saying cant fix it. this is a very common feedback online from customers since years and they are not fixing it. i highly recommend to spend a little more than buying a xiaomi tv. its garbage.
