This makes Subaru eligible, since he had a high affinity and wasn't contracted with anyone until he got Beatrice. This excludes Emilia (who had Puck) and Julius (who had Ea and other smaller spirits).
He didn't mention Petelgeuse possessing Rudeus, what he means is a surprise attack after the main body gets killed, just like what happened in the first loop they managed to kill him.

I disagree Julius being the King or Emperor Class Swordman. I don't think he can even parried the Sword of Light that Ghislaine can cut his head off in seconds. He may be a Saint Swordman at most because his speed still look very slow compare to Eris vs Ruijerd combat scene.
how it looks in animation can be very misleading cause frequently characters can be moving faster than the eye can see and so it would impossible to watch a fight. it's hard to say exactly how he would measure up but ( spoiler warning) he does take on the original sword saint who was one of the people involved in the sealing of the witch and is as far as i remember the best sword wielder in re zero.
@@31codyskater While animation could be very misleading a sword saint in MT that uses the sword god technique can already move at speeds that rival the speed of sound so he would probably still be a sword saint but he would also be able to use the parry techniques from the water god style at most at sword saint level again. He would still be a very strong swordsman that could move faster than the eye could see and parry very strong and fast attacks but he ain't moving at the litteral speed of light level of fast cuz that is the basic requirement to be a sword king in the sword god style of MT. Julius would still be one of the strongest sworsman in the world with those skills.

Yep, I agree completely, If Rudeus followed the same path as Subaru the only enemies that could actually kill him would be the archbishops of Sloth, Greed and another one that would show up when the next season airs, basically all the enemies that have some sort of secret gimmick that can't be revealed without thinking outside the box, sheer luck or trial and error. So about that. Rudeus wouldn't have Return by Death and wouldn't really be connected to the witch cult at all. So he would probably just not get into all of the situations Subaru gets in in the first place. And as just a random person living in one of the major cities (With some exceptions) you're at least decently safe in the re:zero world. Especially with Reinhardt going around and keeping all of the potentially world ending disasters to a more local scale.
Reinhard doesn't go looking for world disasters, if you see the Re Zero If stories you can see how easily Subaru can end the world and even manipulate Reinhard so yeah, Rudeus would be in trouble even if he doesn't go to the main events, Pandora, Puck or even the black serpent would mean an instant dead if he is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Re:ZERO and Mushoku might be some of the most polar opposite protrags in isekai. Subaru is a true mediocre person in all aspects, but with a good heart and the most overpowered cheat possible, unlimited revives, which he uses to form good strategies. Redeus is a magic genius that can go toe to toe with the most powerful people in the world, but the creative ways he uses incantationless spells give him the edge. Subaru always does everything the hardest way possible, in comparison with Rudeus which gets out of many problems though talking.

Without their help, he long be dead. North god got groupium so hard but he still hold his ground like an absolute savage. With Fighting God Armor, he’ll just beat the crap out of Rudeus without braking a single sweat but then there’s Orsted who beats North God in 10 mins without any scratches You weighed the world of Mushoku Tensei quite lightly but it just because Rudeus is just stronger than an average person. A S rank adventurer is VERY strong compare to others, and yet they hold absolute no candle against Rudeus, but then you can see him struggle against monsters (for example, a red dragon requires 10 S rank adventurer AT LEAST to take one down, a person from the 7 world power would also be insanely struggle against a big swarm of them.) Nah, Rudeus can never go toe to toe with the strongest powers in the world because he is a magician. High ranked magic are all large scale and are not suited for single target attacks. They change the environment instead. He also does not have the reaction speed and visual acuity to keep up with high speed close combat fights even with OP equipment. There's a reason why none of the 7 powers are pure magicians.
Now if Rudeus had Return by death aswell thats another story lol, but that attack he did on Orsted is later perceived to be God level magic meaning without Orsteds Wrym gate that would of exploded like a nuke so it probably wipe out those rabbits and probably the entire area including himself especially if you give him his staff which would multiply that attack by 5 times. Rudeus real weakness is his body, which wouldn't be much stronger then Subaru but without the knowledge gained from return by death it would be extremely hard to progress.
Yeah the knowledge subaru gains from RBD is too strong. Every entity in Re:Zero has some sort of trick that is too hard to figure out until its too late, which is why RBD is so strong despite Subaru being weak as hell.

Interesting concept, I do feel like you based it on end of anime Rudeus who just happens to be 17 as opposed to Rudeus in Mushoku Tensei at 17. There's a big difference. That being said, assuming Rudeus doesn't just side step all the conflict, the chance that he dies just from being careless and not realizing he's in danger is decently high. He tends to do that a lot.

Oh I enjoyed this video for sure! I totally agree that Rudeus wouldn't survive the Re: Zero world, but yet again, all his development as a person truly changes his decisions and improve a lot his abilities. So the path would have been totally different... I would assume that at the beginning he would tried to get information about the world (if he's not trying to return to the 6 sides world) and ultimately end up on some sort of magic academy or in the presence of some ruler of the country. After all, that's what he usually does, stay close to the rulers of some territory and gain their favor somehow (Boreas; Migurds; Dedoldia; Ariel on the academy and later on Asura; Orsted; the pope on millis; the list goes on). So on that perspective I don't know if he would have met Emilia. Crusch or Priscilla seems more likely, thinking that he would gain their attention and later tried to recruit him somehow.
I think rudues wont die since he's not subaru, Subaru's summoning is planned while Rudues is literally gonna be a random stranger By what i mean, Subaru's every movement in the Re Zero world right after he was summoned was based on the gospel's orders which Rudues will not experience, Roswaal ordered the Insignia to be stolen which made Subaru meet Emilia (looking for her insignia) and eventually leading him to the Mansion, if any of those didn't happen, Subaru would either find a job in Lugnica so he can eat or just roam around until he finds a purpose.

To be fair to Rudy, I think he would go into this world with far fewer assumptions than Subaru. He's inquisitive and likes to experiment to see what the rules for the world are. He might even ask Clown Sama if he has a library so he could read up on the world and learn more about it. I also think he would be willing to ask a lot more questions to people to find out about the witch cult, the dragon, and the witches. Since clown Sama's gossipal would tell clown that Rudy is just a competent man, I don't think clown Sama would have the same desire to use Rudy like he used Subaru. Clown knew Subaru could somehow try things again and again. He would probably just know Rudy is also good at magic and uses a different form of magic than his own. So I doubt clown would be as harsh with his own self made trials for Rudy. They might even geek out about magic together. It's sort of nuts how the story would most likely drastically deviate from Subaru's and how most of that actually just comes from Rudy having matured more than Subaru by that age. Fun experiment
I like to think that Rudeus wouldn't be known to Clown and that events would start deviating from Clown's book as soon as Rudeus began influencing major people and events. Rudeus was a surprise to the Dragon God after all.

So, unless your an immortal like some certain characters in MT, there is no way to block that attack. The weird thing about Rudeus is his anomaly in his body, as it's been explained that Rudy is actually, inhabiting a soulless boy. It's explained when he asked orsted whether he killed the real Rudeus Greyrat's soul when he came into the world but no he actually just possessed it and make it his own. That's the thing about crossing worlds, the logic wouldn't line up well enough on how each of those soul possession of Geuse's works and how it conflicted with Rudy's constitution.

7:43 . I am not sure if you have read light novel , but rudy has a spell with the aoe of 1/3 of an entire forest which he used to fight orested for the second time . Unofficial god tier fire spell . Also he is very strategic so he could just freez the rabbits without killing them or just trap them in a quagmire(he has a lot of mana , in web novel he turned an entire portion of a forest into a swamp) , many other ways . I think you probably underestimate him . Rudeus is smart and analytical . With betelgues i think he requires a proper body with good affinity to take over . I donno i may be wrong . well , anyways . I am not sure if by 17 Rudi already has his second demon eye but even if he doesn't Rudeus has cast spells that covered more than 5 miles when he fought Orsted for the second time. When he rescued Roxy he froze an entire floor of a dungeon with all the monsters in it but made sure to not affect Roxy. With his second Demon Eye he can kill people from beyond the 5 miles radius without trouble and use the giant meteor, the nuke or the spell that insta froze an entire forest. Also, he was given a ring by the Death God that keeps him safe from possessions.

He definitely have the firepower to kill the White Whale Solo. Its not like he use magic as 'magic', Rudy uses magic like an artillery that shoots condensed stone bullet at 90 degree angle (straight to the face) with technically instant reload time and close to infinite ammunition. See, that's the problem I have with "FTL" attacks and movement. They simply make no sense and can never be implemented consistently and logically at all.
Rudeus would 100% survive in the world of Re Zero. Why you ask? Let me quote something Rudeus says, "The Coward does not look for trouble", in other words Rudeus would steer clear from any form of conflict unlike Subaru.
In rezero all characterw are susceptible to death and, in general, despite their strength, they die before they have had time to react. Subaru matures as the story progresses, and yet he continues to die. Orsted scene is what would happen to rudeus in the rezero world.

I have no doubt that if he were in the Mushoku Tensei world he would be on each of the gods levels, especially since unlike them he's legitimately a character who can affect the entire world as he easily defeated puck who froze the world after Emilia dies in one of the loops. Author scales him to be equal to satella as he states "If they were to fight it would be an endless battle". The Witches have some devastating abilities as well as the cultist though those are less about power and more about actually being broken. Time & Space manipulation (Subaru's RbD being gifted by a witch and Regulus with his little world), reality warping (Pandora), mana saping on the scale of a continent (Minerva's healing saps one part of the world and causes disasters), etc. Honestly they'd wreck a lot more havoc indirectly easily on the scale of most creatures and beings in Mushoku Tensei.
This brings out some real questions- 1. Who will win in a fight between Ostread and Reinhard? 2. Who is Superior Rem or Roxy? Edit: I am disappointed by the fact that you are arguing about Ostread and Reinhard more than Rem and Roxy.

He under estimates the power of Rudeus. I'm not going to disassemble every assertion, but... Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti: Petelgeuse is not able to possess just anyone he wants to. The party in question has to actually be compatible. It's very unlikely that Rudeus would be compatible, as we're assuming he's NOT been selected by Satella, and does not have strong spirit affinity (probably why Satella can form her bond with Subaru, and is why Satella was able to kick Petelgeuse out, as they were both in the same place in Subaru's heart). Regarding his hidden hands, he could easily nullify them with rain, or mist, or sand storm, etc. Which he would likely think to do, as he's a strategist, and he has the eye of foresight. That's assuming Rudeus allowed the fight to happen at close proximity, where Petelgeuse's power was even an issue. The Great Rabbit: Rudeus could easily clear this monster on his own. Remember, his earth magic is pushing the divine tier at this point. He could easily erect an earth cage around the rabbit, much like what Subaru did, hedge them all in, and then end them however he wants. Drown them by filling it with water. Drop fire ball on the area big enough and powerful enough to glass bowl the whole thing. Fill the area with some water and hit it will a fully powered lighting spell. (Which he has by the time he's 17.) Crush them all with more earth magic. Suffocate them by closing the area up. Really, not very difficult to take them out. And again, Rudeus is a strategist, unlike Subaru, he would totally work this out.
This seems more like "Could Rudeus handle Subaru's obstacles" lol. Anyway, as someone who's somewhat deep in both LNs, IMO even if 17 yr old Rudeus is somehow lucky enough to survive the Betelguese encounter, he'd get wrecked by Regulus, due to his body basically being stopped in time. He'd also definitely die to Wrath, as her ability is just straight up instakill hacks, unless he somehow got a second chance like Subaru did. He definitely stand a chance against Lust and Gluttony tho. Assuming he went through the same thing as Subaru did, he's highly likely to die in Pleiades too. Tho he could definitely breeze through enemies in Arc 7 so far.

Well Roswaal is the most powerful overall however he’s not the most powerful at each specific type, Beako for example is leagues more powerful at Yin magic than Roswaal is, Emilia is more powerful with fire magic, though mostly due to her absolutely absurd mana pool there are probably others as well

Betelegeuse cannot possess every person at will, he could only possess Subaru because of RBD. This does not apply to our case. Also, while Regulus has completely overpowered attacks, he is bad at fighting, not a joke. It's useless without knowing his power, but as long as you dodge his attacks you can live to figure it out another day. In short, Rudeus *could* survive in Re:Zero. Would he? Idk. Violence is unpredictable. But none of this matters as Rudeus would never care for Emilia in the first place. Subaru is fucking insane and sticks by her in spite of enormous danger. But Emilia is nothing to Rudeus, and he would prioritize his family above everything else. He would just walk away from the whole royal selection, and would just get a house, a harem, an office job and live happily ever after until someone bothers him specifically.
For the great rabbit I think Rudy could solo it. Whenever he first fights orsted he fires off that blue fire spell that orsted blocks if you’ve read the light or web novel it says that that blast was imagined as and was going to be on the same destruction capabilities as a nuke. He wasn’t thinking of his surroundings or about his companions he was on the verge of death and wanted to just take orsted out really. Idk if all of those rabbits are surviving a nuke he’d have to be far away tho unless he’d die with them. I am fairly sure there is a condition for Betelgeuse to possess. I am fairly sure only people qualified get taken over and I imagine rudeus is qualified. Also another thing to consider is Rosswall is also very physically strong. He sharpened his body into weapon in case his magic stopped working. It’s said he also had an OP shockwave attack aswell. There are some other thing aswell making Rosswall very OP. So I think it would be tough for Rudy to beat him. But since Rosswall can’t use healing magic Rudeus does have an advantage. But if Rosswall can manage to get close and do a killing blow he would win.

First of all, the premise is off, the "Earth-life Rudeus" is the one who will be summoned, not the "Reincarnated Rudeus". Which means his current mental state is the worst thing to have in Re:zero world. Short answer, he won't survive long. On the other hand, Subaru won't also last long in MT world because he won't have access to RBD. But if we assume that "Reincarnated Rudeus" then it is a different story overall. Your estimates to Re:zero characters using Mushoku Tensei power rankings are way off. Roswaal's combat prowess is almost on par w/ Garf in human form, so he possess a body that can easily withstand a fall from a high place. The assumption that 17y/o Rudeus is still a degenerate is way off(which is most of the agruments mentioned in the video). 8km also a bad estimate, those rabbits won't be nice and form a straight line of 8kilometers and instead will surround its prey. If it is 8km² area full rabbits then Rudeus has a way to end them, even if you double their size to 16km². I'm guessing this video is only a premature "what if" scenarios. If so, expecting another video after properly reading both stories.
Forgot to add. Flugel's/yamato's real identity is still on debate. If it is confirmed to be subaru, then half of the shit happening in re:zero can be ignored if he does not exist in the rezero world at all. This will lead to rudy surviving longer than expected.

Petelgeuse is a spirit, and he can only possess a person with a high affinity for spirits that isn't already contracted with one. This makes Subaru eligible, since he had a high affinity and wasn't contracted with anyone until he got Beatrice. This excludes Emilia (who had Puck) and Julius (who had Ea and other smaller spirits).
He didn't mention Petelgeuse possessing Rudeus, what he means is a surprise attack after the main body gets killed, just like what happened in the first loop they managed to kill him.
I don't think rudeus would even dare to ask beako or other spirit to contract even hes 17

how it looks in animation can be very misleading cause frequently characters can be moving faster than the eye can see and so it would impossible to watch a fight. it's hard to say exactly how he would measure up but ( spoiler warning) he does take on the original sword saint who was one of the people involved in the sealing of the witch and is as far as i remember the best sword wielder in re zero.

@@31codyskater While animation could be very misleading a sword saint in MT that uses the sword god technique can already move at speeds that rival the speed of sound so he would probably still be a sword saint but he would also be able to use the parry techniques from the water god style at most at sword saint level again. He would still be a very strong swordsman that could move faster than the eye could see and parry very strong and fast attacks but he ain't moving at the litteral speed of light level of fast cuz that is the basic requirement to be a sword king in the sword god style of MT.
Julius would still be one of the strongest sworsman in the world with those skills.

Yep, I agree completely, If Rudeus followed the same path as Subaru the only enemies that could actually kill him would be the archbishops of Sloth, Greed and another one that would show up when the next season airs, basically all the enemies that have some sort of secret gimmick that can't be revealed without thinking outside the box, sheer luck or trial and error.
If you really think about it, Subaru's return by death is miles ahead more powerful than anything Rudeus has, but boy does it come at a steep price xD

So about that. Rudeus wouldn't have Return by Death and wouldn't really be connected to the witch cult at all.
So he would probably just not get into all of the situations Subaru gets in in the first place. And as just a random person living in one of the major cities (With some exceptions) you're at least decently safe in the re:zero world. Especially with Reinhardt going around and keeping all of the potentially world ending disasters to a more local scale.
Reinhard doesn't go looking for world disasters, if you see the Re Zero If stories you can see how easily Subaru can end the world and even manipulate Reinhard so yeah, Rudeus would be in trouble even if he doesn't go to the main events, Pandora, Puck or even the black serpent would mean an instant dead if he is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Re:ZERO and Mushoku might be some of the most polar opposite protrags in isekai. Subaru is a true mediocre person in all aspects, but with a good heart and the most overpowered cheat possible, unlimited revives, which he uses to form good strategies. Redeus is a magic genius that can go toe to toe with the most powerful people in the world, but the creative ways he uses incantationless spells give him the edge. Subaru always does everything the hardest way possible, in comparison with Rudeus which gets out of many problems though talking.
I don't think calling RBD is overpowered as yes even if he can't die permanently this let some scar on his soul.

I say RBD is overpowered because you can't lose with it in most cases against anyone (except if that person doesn't kill you, just tortures you for a long time or if you bet on your soul or something and you can't use it anymore)

You weighed the world of Mushoku Tensei quite lightly but it just because Rudeus is just stronger than an average person. A S rank adventurer is VERY strong compare to others, and yet they hold absolute no candle against Rudeus, but then you can see him struggle against monsters (for example, a red dragon requires 10 S rank adventurer AT LEAST to take one down, a person from the 7 world power would also be insanely struggle against a big swarm of them.)

Nah, Rudeus can never go toe to toe with the strongest powers in the world because he is a magician. High ranked magic are all large scale and are not suited for single target attacks. They change the environment instead. He also does not have the reaction speed and visual acuity to keep up with high speed close combat fights even with OP equipment. There's a reason why none of the 7 powers are pure magicians.

Now if Rudeus had Return by death aswell thats another story lol, but that attack he did on Orsted is later perceived to be God level magic meaning without Orsteds Wrym gate that would of exploded like a nuke so it probably wipe out those rabbits and probably the entire area including himself especially if you give him his staff which would multiply that attack by 5 times.
Rudeus real weakness is his body, which wouldn't be much stronger then Subaru but without the knowledge gained from return by death it would be extremely hard to progress.
Yeah the knowledge subaru gains from RBD is too strong. Every entity in Re:Zero has some sort of trick that is too hard to figure out until its too late, which is why RBD is so strong despite Subaru being weak as hell.

Interesting concept, I do feel like you based it on end of anime Rudeus who just happens to be 17 as opposed to Rudeus in Mushoku Tensei at 17. There's a big difference. That being said, assuming Rudeus doesn't just side step all the conflict, the chance that he dies just from being careless and not realizing he's in danger is decently high. He tends to do that a lot.

Oh I enjoyed this video for sure! I totally agree that Rudeus wouldn't survive the Re: Zero world, but yet again, all his development as a person truly changes his decisions and improve a lot his abilities. So the path would have been totally different... I would assume that at the beginning he would tried to get information about the world (if he's not trying to return to the 6 sides world) and ultimately end up on some sort of magic academy or in the presence of some ruler of the country. After all, that's what he usually does, stay close to the rulers of some territory and gain their favor somehow (Boreas; Migurds; Dedoldia; Ariel on the academy and later on Asura; Orsted; the pope on millis; the list goes on). So on that perspective I don't know if he would have met Emilia. Crusch or Priscilla seems more likely, thinking that he would gain their attention and later tried to recruit him somehow.

I think rudues wont die since he's not subaru, Subaru's summoning is planned while Rudues is literally gonna be a random stranger
By what i mean, Subaru's every movement in the Re Zero world right after he was summoned was based on the gospel's orders which Rudues will not experience, Roswaal ordered the Insignia to be stolen which made Subaru meet Emilia (looking for her insignia) and eventually leading him to the Mansion, if any of those didn't happen, Subaru would either find a job in Lugnica so he can eat or just roam around until he finds a purpose.
That's my take, unless he somehow gets close with Subaru and get in Emilia's camp

To be fair to Rudy, I think he would go into this world with far fewer assumptions than Subaru. He's inquisitive and likes to experiment to see what the rules for the world are. He might even ask Clown Sama if he has a library so he could read up on the world and learn more about it.
I also think he would be willing to ask a lot more questions to people to find out about the witch cult, the dragon, and the witches. Since clown Sama's gossipal would tell clown that Rudy is just a competent man, I don't think clown Sama would have the same desire to use Rudy like he used Subaru. Clown knew Subaru could somehow try things again and again. He would probably just know Rudy is also good at magic and uses a different form of magic than his own. So I doubt clown would be as harsh with his own self made trials for Rudy. They might even geek out about magic together.
It's sort of nuts how the story would most likely drastically deviate from Subaru's and how most of that actually just comes from Rudy having matured more than Subaru by that age. Fun experiment
I like to think that Rudeus wouldn't be known to Clown and that events would start deviating from Clown's book as soon as Rudeus began influencing major people and events. Rudeus was a surprise to the Dragon God after all.

I am not sure if by 17 Rudi already has his second demon eye but even if he doesn't Rudeus has cast spells that covered more than 5 miles when he fought Orsted for the second time.
When he rescued Roxy he froze an entire floor of a dungeon with all the monsters in it but made sure to not affect Roxy.
With his second Demon Eye he can kill people from beyond the 5 miles radius without trouble and use the giant meteor, the nuke or the spell that insta froze an entire forest.
Also, he was given a ring by the Death God that keeps him safe from possessions.

1. Can the enemy fight on a swamp?
2. Can the enemy eats cannon shots in the face, regularly, at near point blank range?

@@asura3229 He has Mk1 Mk2 Mk3 and Mk0 and even Mk2 which is the downgrade version of Mk1 is capable of superhuman feats and gives saint class abilities, not to mention he can shoot stone cannon at point blank range which are attacks fast enough to damage Orsted who can parry the longsword of light Rudeus also has demon eye of foresight and capable to react to faster opponents, So he is in no way slow.

Rudeus would 100% survive in the world of Re Zero. Why you ask? Let me quote something Rudeus says, "The Coward does not look for trouble", in other words Rudeus would steer clear from any form of conflict unlike Subaru.
In rezero all characterw are susceptible to death and, in general, despite their strength, they die before they have had time to react. Subaru matures as the story progresses, and yet he continues to die.
Orsted scene is what would happen to rudeus in the rezero world.
If you don't have RBD then yes conflict maybe not going to found you but if you have RbD you would have targeted anyway.

@@suprith5443 Reinhard is basically the opposite of Orsted, since orsted is sooo severely nerfed by curses with everything we know about him and novel and yet he's still broken. Reinhard is supposed to be a perfect match to Satella who is a threat to the entire world as well as receives countless blessing by the world itself to counter/give broken abilities at will. I have no doubt that if he were in the Mushoku Tensei world he would be on each of the gods levels, especially since unlike them he's legitimately a character who can affect the entire world as he easily defeated puck who froze the world after Emilia dies in one of the loops. Author scales him to be equal to satella as he states "If they were to fight it would be an endless battle". The Witches have some devastating abilities as well as the cultist though those are less about power and more about actually being broken. Time & Space manipulation (Subaru's RbD being gifted by a witch and Regulus with his little world), reality warping (Pandora), mana saping on the scale of a continent (Minerva's healing saps one part of the world and causes disasters), etc. Honestly they'd wreck a lot more havoc indirectly easily on the scale of most creatures and beings in Mushoku Tensei.

Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti: Petelgeuse is not able to possess just anyone he wants to. The party in question has to actually be compatible. It's very unlikely that Rudeus would be compatible, as we're assuming he's NOT been selected by Satella, and does not have strong spirit affinity (probably why Satella can form her bond with Subaru, and is why Satella was able to kick Petelgeuse out, as they were both in the same place in Subaru's heart). Regarding his hidden hands, he could easily nullify them with rain, or mist, or sand storm, etc. Which he would likely think to do, as he's a strategist, and he has the eye of foresight. That's assuming Rudeus allowed the fight to happen at close proximity, where Petelgeuse's power was even an issue.
The Great Rabbit: Rudeus could easily clear this monster on his own. Remember, his earth magic is pushing the divine tier at this point. He could easily erect an earth cage around the rabbit, much like what Subaru did, hedge them all in, and then end them however he wants. Drown them by filling it with water. Drop fire ball on the area big enough and powerful enough to glass bowl the whole thing. Fill the area with some water and hit it will a fully powered lighting spell. (Which he has by the time he's 17.) Crush them all with more earth magic. Suffocate them by closing the area up. Really, not very difficult to take them out. And again, Rudeus is a strategist, unlike Subaru, he would totally work this out.
This seems more like "Could Rudeus handle Subaru's obstacles" lol. Anyway, as someone who's somewhat deep in both LNs, IMO even if 17 yr old Rudeus is somehow lucky enough to survive the Betelguese encounter, he'd get wrecked by Regulus, due to his body basically being stopped in time. He'd also definitely die to Wrath, as her ability is just straight up instakill hacks, unless he somehow got a second chance like Subaru did. He definitely stand a chance against Lust and Gluttony tho. Assuming he went through the same thing as Subaru did, he's highly likely to die in Pleiades too. Tho he could definitely breeze through enemies in Arc 7 so far.

Well Roswaal is the most powerful overall however he’s not the most powerful at each specific type, Beako for example is leagues more powerful at Yin magic than Roswaal is, Emilia is more powerful with fire magic, though mostly due to her absolutely absurd mana pool there are probably others as well

Betelegeuse cannot possess every person at will, he could only possess Subaru because of RBD. This does not apply to our case.
Also, while Regulus has completely overpowered attacks, he is bad at fighting, not a joke. It's useless without knowing his power, but as long as you dodge his attacks you can live to figure it out another day.
In short, Rudeus *could* survive in Re:Zero. Would he? Idk. Violence is unpredictable.
But none of this matters as Rudeus would never care for Emilia in the first place. Subaru is fucking insane and sticks by her in spite of enormous danger. But Emilia is nothing to Rudeus, and he would prioritize his family above everything else. He would just walk away from the whole royal selection, and would just get a house, a harem, an office job and live happily ever after until someone bothers him specifically.
He'd be adventuring most of the time and learn many things too.

Whenever he first fights orsted he fires off that blue fire spell that orsted blocks if you’ve read the light or web novel it says that that blast was imagined as and was going to be on the same destruction capabilities as a nuke. He wasn’t thinking of his surroundings or about his companions he was on the verge of death and wanted to just take orsted out really. Idk if all of those rabbits are surviving a nuke he’d have to be far away tho unless he’d die with them. Basically if he’s close ya the rabbits still win since he still dies anyway but with others ya he could do it
I am fairly sure there is a condition for Betelgeuse to possess. I am fairly sure only people qualified get taken over and I imagine rudeus is qualified. Also another thing to consider is Rosswall is also very physically strong. He sharpened his body into weapon in case his magic stopped working. It’s said he also had an OP shockwave attack aswell. There are some other thing aswell making Rosswall very OP. So I think it would be tough for Rudy to beat him. But since Rosswall can’t use healing magic Rudeus does have an advantage. But if Rosswall can manage to get close and do a killing blow he would win.
there is one condition where Betelgeuse can not possess someone if there a spirit user. it's how subaru gets around it in there final fight. contacting minor spirits from julius's pool of spirits

Rudeus is also a saint rank swordsman and can perceive emperor rank. God rank if he concentrates properly and uses the demon eye. So I think he'd be a little hard pressed to beat Roswall but mainly because he doesn't fight at full power most of the time.

First of all, the premise is off, the "Earth-life Rudeus" is the one who will be summoned, not the "Reincarnated Rudeus". Which means his current mental state is the worst thing to have in Re:zero world. Short answer, he won't survive long.
On the other hand, Subaru won't also last long in MT world because he won't have access to RBD.
But if we assume that "Reincarnated Rudeus" then it is a different story overall.
Your estimates to Re:zero characters using Mushoku Tensei power rankings are way off.
Roswaal's combat prowess is almost on par w/ Garf in human form, so he possess a body that can easily withstand a fall from a high place.
The assumption that 17y/o Rudeus is still a degenerate is way off(which is most of the agruments mentioned in the video).
8km also a bad estimate, those rabbits won't be nice and form a straight line of 8kilometers and instead will surround its prey. If it is 8km² area full rabbits then Rudeus has a way to end them, even if you double their size to 16km².
I'm guessing this video is only a premature "what if" scenarios. If so, expecting another video after properly reading both stories.
Forgot to add. Flugel's/yamato's real identity is still on debate. If it is confirmed to be subaru, then half of the shit happening in re:zero can be ignored if he does not exist in the rezero world at all. This will lead to rudy surviving longer than expected.
