The honesty is what I have come to count on with your reviews, if I'm looking to buy something I always check to see what you had to say about a particular item & for that I thank you.
Love this review! Showing all of the functions and seeing the great video helped me to decide on this! I already have some other toy drones, but nothing like this. Before I start on a larger hobby drone, I want to do more drone training on something like this, so thank you for showing us this video. hoping to share some video from the drone when I get it! Thanks again!
Every Hubsan drone I've had seems to blow out a motor within several days to several weeks; needless to say I'm not too thrilled with Hubsan any more. :-( And yes, I practised good "brushed motor hygiene" on all but the very first because I simply didn't know about brushed motor requirements then.
Thank you, finally someone who can provide knowledgeable, sensible and meaningful drone reviews without being an idiot with crap music...Why are soooo many drone videos filled with the worst music I have ever heard on any videos...and why are people who are doing a "review" always seem like total armatures without a clue... You should do a video of using the H216A with a wifi repeater, that I would really like to see.
NICE!!!I had a Hubsan 502 X4 DESIRE and it few for about 8 to 10 mins on stock batt and I know it had to be 400 feet up and i lost sight of it and hit RTH ... waited for it .... about 20mins later i thought it was lost....so after packing up I saw something white in the parking lot...??? could this be my Hubsan??? YES lol just a body arm was opened by the b motor I just snapped it back together and it still flys !!! Awesome 720p cam also for the price!!! Good review!!! thanks...
I cannot get my controller to bring in my satellites and my flashing blue light does not stop flashing. Can you help with this procedure. JIM. I have a Yuneec Thyphoon H 4K
Wow. That smoke is insane. A couple nights ago I let the dog out and the haze and smell of smoke was quite strong here in western Iowa. Doesn't look too bad for a $100 drone. The only Hubsan drone I've had, an H109s X4 Pro, turned into a massive cluster of melted internal antennas, and damaged wiring which has turned me off to their products. Too bad too because it looked to be an awesome quad from all the reviews I read or watched.
i have the white one the 502e i didnt care for it at all it always would just fly off and do its own thing thank god i was under trees cuz thats where it spent alot of its time lol great video justin thanks
@@dronecamps I've got 2 of the 502e's $42.00 for one $29.00 for the second, heck I've had that much fun out of 'em but yeah this is a better (upgraded) unit, decent camera for a hundred bucks.
Good review. The Hubsan 1080p cameras are usually quite good though you can't always say the same about the 720p ones Oddly I was having a similar conversation about birds flying around and behind quads and planes yesterday with another Tuber. At this time of year territoriality is not the only possible reason for such behaviours. Commonly, according to a fellow flier and ornithologist, birds are using quads and planes for opportunistic feeding. As many will know birds do follow and fly around grazing animals or even large animals walking through grassed areas as they disturb and panic insects into the air. In Spring and early summer it is almost invariably a territorial behaviour though and I have had a large -co- _male_ finch knock a prop off a toy quad. Fortunately it was a push-on prop on a small coreless motor and both the finch and the quad survived the encounter :)
I've had a number of run-ins with my drones & piddled-off birds (sometimes just one, sometimes several in a fairly tight flock) in my years of flying; but I've never actually struck one. :-) I got a Hubsan H216A off Ebay quite a number of months ago; unfortunately it was DOA (it appeared to power up properly but failed to generate a Bluetooth hotspot) -- I bantered back & forth with the seller for several weeks about obtaining a replacement; after failing rather miserably there I eventually got Ebay to step in and get my money refunded. So I've never actually gotten this drone in the air -- I can't even get to the prelaunch sequence because it does not generate a Bluetooth signal. :-(
bought a h216 desire, it is rubbish as is hubsan customer service. Kept losing gps and then after less than 5hrs flying time it fell from the sky. Replaced it with real drone dji spark.
Heh, it's a $110.00 GPS quad with a 1080p camera. You get what you pay for, .....on this particular one, .........just say no and go get an MJX Bugs2C. Thanks Justin. Jeff

Damn that smoke! Bad over here in Hillsboro, as well.
Yeah Im starting to worry. For all of us. Can't be good.
I've been working outside 8 hours a day down in southern Oregon, and I have a smoker's cough now. I quit smoking 10 years ago.
