This is the Drone programming with python course. Here we are going to learn the basics of a drone including the components and how the drone flies. Then we will look at the installations and the basic movements along with image capture. From there we will create exciting projects including Surveillance drones, Face tracking, and line following drones.

Amazing tutorial, really man, hats off. This was simply perfect. Excellent explanations, straight to the point, and covers several projects that build on previous work. This was EXACTLY what I was looking for: a cheap drone, an exposed, easy to use API, and a tutorial that covers writing control code as well as opencv for image processing. It's incredible how quickly I could get things to run. Thank you so much!
Also, regarding you Mapping part of the tutorial. Wouldn't it have been better to use the get_speed and get_acceleration functions offered by djitellopy to accurately calculate the motion of the drone? That would yield very good results as opposed to relying on the speed value you make the drone fly with. I have not tried it yet, but should probs work well. Cheers!

One lazy evening I watched youtube and fell asleep after a few time. When I woke up watched on my screen and saw this tutorial. The vide was at 25 minutes and i was too lazy to change it so I watched some time. I have no drone or else after but i understood everything you explained. I wasnt really interested what i need(cause like I said before I have no drone) to do but i was highly intrested in your video. There are elaborate self driving cars and vehicles course, but this drones tech course is a fabulous initiative. When you bring battery tech, web3 tech, Swarm Robotic tech and programming the world will be a different place. Glad to see the tech being shared widely.

so... I fell asleep in my chair hours ago listening to music... and then in my dream some random guy started teaching me about an AI turning right and left and stopping when it needed to instead of overshooting. Those few sentence slowly turned into go left go right go left go right then something clicked and I woke up to a 3 hour python course..... thanks for being a part of my dream and teaching me drones in my sleep. who knows maybe Ill become a drone expert now :P

"Drone" isn't a reference to the _sound_ definition, but instead a reference to _role structure_ as like insects (i.e., worker bees gathering honey or tending chores are the queen's drones)

Hi Murtaza! I really love all of your content, but I got scared of the bad reviews the Tello drone has! People say its hard to callibrate, it loses connection quickly, the app is out of date and it often comes with manufacturing issues! Can you tell us about your experience with it so far?

Thank you for your amazing video. I am 75 YO retired Telecom Engineer and my hobby is IoT and Aeromodelling. I really learned a lot of skills from your meticulous explanatory videos.
I have a doubt that is: If I program the Tello to Take off and fly forward for 10 feet, then stop and reverse for 10 feet, stop and land, it is not landing at the place from where it took off due to change in battery condition etc.,
Is it possible to program the Tello to fly to a specific distance and come back, using it's accelerometer data or is there any other Drone model which can only, do this for me. Please advice. Thanks again with GREAT regards.
