Hello. 'Nother kiwi here. I've done one bullpup sks stock with a reasonable amount of success and a couple more development stocks. I'm working on a bullpup Marlin XT17 atm, turning it into a straight pull using a scroll cam attached to a foward bolt handle... same as the Charlton Automatic rifle except using manual bolt to actuate it instead of a gas system. Still got the sks sitting there, work in progress... I see you've gone for a pullrod instead of the usual pushrod. Very good grasshopper. Steel flexes badly in compression but is immensely strong in tension, like you've got it. I did the same, but I went one further... I bought a second SKS trigger group for the front trigger, took all the bits off except the trigger itself and the safety catch, and used the pin hole at the top of the trigger to locate my pullrods-one each side, no twisting (no qualms about butchering this trigger... someone had 'improved' the sear with an angle grinder) I then put an extended pin at the top of the rear trigger, hooked the pullrods onto that and voila, a trigger that feels exactly like an ordinary sks... Had to take the rods wide enough to clear everything(magazine) so there's no contact.
yeah my one felt exactly the same as the original trigger, I learned a few things from my first bullpup. As you can probably tell, I have a limited workshop so it makes building some stuff difficult. All in good fun though. I must make a few more videos, it's been quite a while. Thanks for your feedback.
awesome , luv your work mate! I just got me a second hand SKS off trademe an done a trigger job on it today.. Turned out really nice. Keep up the good work ! Bullpup sks man thats so sweet
Most of the components were custom fabricated from easy to find parts, let over bits etc... part of makes the project individual. I have a bunch of videos that show progress as well as another project that might help.
this is an an awesome build man, cheers for the insight

I would like to see you make the stock to go with it looks sweet
There's a few more videos up now. Including the finished product, although I will do a more in depth review this weekend. Thanks for watching.
Any chance of getting a parts list?
