Hi Gary, been there, paid our bill and left in a bad mood. It was horrible, I think Gordon Ramsay should run a better quality control at his restaurants. It's very frustrating when between two people you pay over a 100£ and leaves with a bad taste in your mouth. We gave a 1 out of 10. But I am glad you're going to Ireland and hopefully you will really enjoy it. Another fantastic review in the bag, mate! Have a wonderful time in Ireland and enjoy every moment of it, buddy! Gordon Ramsay's preparing himself for a new series of Kitchen Nightmares where he's going to visit each and every one of his underwhelming restaurants and shout at himself in the mirror for 30 minutes.
Definitely need more reviewers like Gary to highlight bad restaurant experiences . As a regular watcher of Gary’s reviews I know he is always optimistic and wouldn’t give a bad review if it didn’t deserve it .
My dad was the first executive chef at terminal 4 at Heathrow when it opened. He cooked for princess Diana and Charles. He loved cooking and was just a few years to early otherwise would have been in the tv. He died in 2018 but the day before he died he cooked a fantastic dinner for family and friends and we all clapped him a the end. He died happy. ❤😢
Bet Chuck and Di didn't eat in the cafeteria. Nor would they have had to queue for an hour or so to be strip searched, let alone another hour or two for dropping off their cases. And at the other end another hour waiting at passport control before another wait at baggage collection.
Hi Gary, we had a similar experience. The fish n chips as well as burger was mediocre for the inflated prices. The waiter was horrible. He offered no greeting, no smile and asked if we want water and what we want to order in a careless manner. At first I didn’t even think he was our waiter because he strolled casually almost lazily swaggering by until he was near our table. And even then he was fiddling with a tablet for a while before looking over at table , no eye contact. For our water he didn’t ask “still or sparking?” So we assumed it’s tap water we said yes to. It was a £6 bottle of water. That was the last we saw of the waiter eventhough he was around serving new customers, then eventually disappeared all together to far end of the restaurant either talking to a coworker or just loiter around. A different server brought our food, no one came back to check how our food was. It’s not as if it was busy. The restaurant was almost deserted, about 4-5 tables occupied. We eventually had to flag another waiter down to get our bill. There was not only an automatic £1.50 cover charge per person, there was even a mystery £1.00 donation for something unexplained , plus that 15% service charge on top of all those charges. It was pathetic gouging. Does this restaurant think just because it’s in the airport that they don’t have to care about repeat business? Shame on them. No wonder the restaurant was almost deserted in a very busy terminal. In fact our first choice was Wagamama but the line up was very long. With limited layover time we decided to give Gordon Ramsay at the airport a try. After all we’ve been to his restaurant in Las Vegas and the service and food was good. Also, the young lady working at the front was very persuasive and persistent as we were checking out the menu. That should have been a red flag for us Lol. We will chalk this one up as a lesson learnt and never again will we eat at this establishment. Gary you were generous giving them 3/10. We rate our experience 2/10. By the way, we love your honest and thorough reviews. Keep on giving it a go!
There is an old gag about a person who went into a London branch of Gordon Ramsey`s and was shocked by the prices, so he went for the cheapest item on the menu. It was boneless chicken and when it arrived, it was a fried egg.
A group of us boaters moored in Lime House Dock, had a pint or three in the club house and someone suggested Gordon Ramsey's pub across the road. A van was set outside and the driver was carrying trays of pre-prepared food into the pub. We about turned and went to another pub that was cheaper so even if that pub had pre cooked food we still saved money for a pint or three.
What about the one who ordered oxtail soup. He complained to the waiter. THIS SOUP BARELY COVERS THE BOTTOM!.sir that's what ox tails are supposed to do!
Considering how scathing he is of other restaurants I think he needs to critique his own. £38 for a steak is ridiculous - I would have sent it back, and the cutlery was so childish, however the that cover charge is outrageous
@@GaryEats Agreed! I don't like to send meals back, but if they were cooked this badly I definitely would have. That was ridiculous! And the cheesecake - over $10USD for a cupcake wrapper sized piece of cheesecake and 3 tiny blueberries - outrageous!! For that price I would expect maybe a sampler trio of different desserts and/or cheesecakes with or without berries. I am growing blackberries in my backyard and right now am picking from 1-2 lbs. per day! I just made a coconut cake with blackberry plum filling (plums also from our backyard), and cream cheese icing with tons of extra crushed and pureed blackberries, sprinkled with fresh blackberries and served it with blackberry cobbler ice cream and more pureed berries. For that, I would pay $10. willingly. Hope I didn't make you hungry after that meal! LOL
I'm a beliver in if you can't cook throw garlic into it cos that's all you can taste. If I go to a restaurant now I have to ask what's got garlic in it and avoid it like the plague.garlic for me is on par with smokers breath not good
If you're very disappointed with the food (cold tomatoes, chewy meat, blood pool on your plate, crappy knife), you should complain and ask for a new steak meal and a proper steak knife. How the restaurant reacts to the complaint is part of the review. I wouldn't pay for the cover charge (I hope you didn't pay for the water). Airport food is often a rip-off, so at those prices you're entitled to complain. Go on, give it a go 🙂.
Unfortunately you will not get a steak knife, you have passed through security that's why you get a round tipped knife with a semi blunt blade, on the extended silly rules I had my nail clippers removed from my bag by security. I was the pilot flying the aircraft.
Restauants please stop cutting people's steaks for them unless you are serving them with a pan sauce. It drains the juices (especially if it hasn't been allowed to rest) and it goes cold too quickly. I wish this annoying trend would end.
isnt it crazy that this restaurant owner travels around filming himself criticising other restaurants and telling them to get passion and to care and have standards. He should be spending his time working on getting his own restaurants right. That steak was terrible, floating in juice, it was wringing wet. And a a pre made cheesecake, no decent restaurant serves premade food. Im not even in the restaurant business but wouldnt you serve a cheese cake like that on a plate, like you would a tart. All this restaurant does is trade off a name. Such a great honest review once again. I will not eat at a ramsey restaurant because of what I saw today. And once again you had no axe to grind, there is no bias, you can see the disapointment in your face and you gave your opinion with complete respect. the Ramsey management team will hate you for telling the truth. Keep going! nearly 100k subs best reviewer on you tube!
@@AT-bq1kg Stop justifying it. This review shows poor basic cooking. That steak was a joke. Clearly the chef does not know what he is doing. Clearly no one is checking the quality. And the waiter that served the food didnt spot it either. ZERO excuses bad review WARRANTED. other GR restaurant reviews have not been great either. This channel tells it how it is and does it fairly. That will upset people and that shows the channel is doing its job.
Yer... so just on the off chance your being serious. There are sections of airports that cater for people that are not flying to Benidorm on Ryanair. So you can argue those people are dumb, and indeed might expect their ginsters to be hot... they would argue that if you have to worry about price down at this micro level and opt for "grub" then it is indeed you that is dumb and failing generally in the game of life. they would also not know what a Ginsters is. Meanwhile.... the review is still accurate.
@@AT-bq1kg your obsession to defend Ramsey is just bizarre and you keep frantically moving the goal posts around. No one cares about ginster pasties, or motorway service stations etc... I commented on this review because I fly from terminal 5 a few times a year. I dont mind paying good money for a good meal but I will avoid the restaurant because of this review. The review has done its job. This channel does not play your game and excuse things... It simply takes you into the restaurant, orders some food, talks about , menu price, rates the food fairly. Shows you the food and provides constructive critism of it. bravo the channel and boo to you because your clearly involved with the business somehow. And the videos are getting great viewing numbers. 150k in 3 days. It will be at a million within a few months. Most of that demographic will be UK based who consume content on food reviews. This content will also get the attention of the big man himself who lives on social media (trust me on that). This video will effect the business of that restaurant in a bad way. It will also reward the content creator. If it hits a million views thats going to be at least 3-4k revenue. Theres a certain poetic justice that the restaurant is literally paying this great reviewer by providing terrible food. As the restauant sinks the channel will make money from its demise. And we the paying public get the truth. everyone wins accept the terrible restaurant and its staff who comment on anonymous accounts.
best food channel on UA-cam, no fluff, no fake endorsements. just a real review. btw i STRONGLY recommend you never accept a poor quality anything... if a steak is chewy.. send it BACK. it only encourages them to keep sending crap to customers. 10 pounds for a cheesecake is a crime also. airport prices are always inflated sure, but that is still outrageous, especially considering the quality. and wtf is a cover charge, and they need to TELL YOU that
This is exactly why I have a big problem when it comes to restaurants - paying a lot of money for sub-standard food. At least you're letting me know all the good places, Gary, so thanks for doing what you're doing!
@@simonsackett the other disgraceful rip off is the Michelin star setup! Tiny portions of undercooked sometimes unrecognisable food at Exorbitant prices! When are the British public going to wake up to these Con Artists
I think I speak for the general public when I say that I appreciate Gary spending his time, money and energy to do these reviews so that people don't waste their hard-earned money in tourist traps, and instead spend it in good restaurants with high quality satisfying food regardless of price.
That plate of water would have gone back at the price you paid Gary. It was obviously not prepared as it should have been. That was a sub standard, high cost, over cooked meal that obviously relies on Gordon Ramsay's reputation. The " cover charge" and service charge is a rip off. A great balanced report considering the poor quality food.🤮🤮🤮
Ive had a better steak meal in Wetherspoons and at one third the price. I love the fact Ramsey goes around saying how terrible other restaurants are, but is happy to serve this at outrages prices. What a complete hypocrite he is.
Would be interested in knowing how you got started with this channel. It's been a great UA-cam find... when I next return home I may well visit some of the pubs (James May / Jezza Clarkson) as they are not far from where my family live in Bristol.
Ramsay won’t give a toss what you all think as long as people go to his fast food overpriced cafes, he’s laughing all the way to to the bank. Apart from Raymond Blanc, all these tv hyped “chefs” are just rip off merchants.
I'm ex BA Cabin Crew, and it's the same at airports the world over, you're a captive customer base and you expect sky-high prices. I have to say though, that was shocking. That cover charge reeked of some exec thinking, how can we squeeze more cash out of our customers. Disgraceful. I shouldn't generalise, but always found the Irish to be the best punters on the aircraft, by a mile. Looking forward to your Irish reviews 👍
I remember only paying £5-£6 for a breakfast fry in O'Brien's in Belfast City Airport, it was 2016 but remember thinking it was very good whereas the world has entered this price hike robbery zone, and I'm looking forward to seeing it crumble back to normality.
Same everywhere where your hemmed in, concerts, festivals, football matches, theatres, as if the prices for tickets for these places isn't dear enough but people are just lemmings really.
I love your videos. I am from the US but go to London alot. I am going to use many of your top picks on my next trip. You have a great sense of humor and I think that makes your videos entertaining.
Well I think it's down to the accountant/bank, the tills should separate the calculations when tallying up, so need to be programmed, airport restaurants also charge extra where they can because of how much they pay for the real-estate. Best value I had in an airport was for a bacon sandwich and a litre of beer for 8 euros in Schiphol Amsterdam
I would prefer a McDonalds or Burger King meal over this, the steak looked slimey or oily the plate bare except for the wilted looking tomato slices, the fries looked ok, but the cheesecake was the ridiculous size of a small cupcake. Very disappointing looking, then the tip and service charge, If you pay the waiters and waitresses a proper wage they wouldn't have to rely on tips and that is if they even get to keep the tips.
I've never, ever seen a cover charge levied unless you're getting some decent bread, butter, maybe some nuts or olives too etc. To add it just for the privilege of paying for what you order is a complete pisstake.
In Portugal they have this thing called Couvert, which they'd bring out when you sat down. Bread, olives, pickles, butter etc. Even if you didn't ask. Then they'd charge you for it. The government put a stop to it, so it has to be on the menu and they have to ask you if you want it.
What's a cover charge like a tip why should English pay tip like the dumb USA they pay fast food restaurants like Denny's subway big franchise they expect you to pay for their employees wages yanks not tipping nobody in my any country for doing there jobs
Gary, you’re slowly becoming my guinea pig for restaurants. Thanks so much for this one. I’ve wanted to eat at Plane Food since it opened but glad you posted this. You’re a service to the general public! ❤️
Gotta say, I would've handed that back for a refund. No excuses for this other than employing cheap, sub-standard chefs. That's why I never eat at celebrity chains, but thank you for helping the public see these places for what they are. . Hope everyone watches and gives this place (and other Ramsay places) a very wide berth.
Well put billy, I was trying to find a way to comment without swearing and wanting to punch Mr Ramsay on Gary's behalf. Totally unacceptable and poor Gary looked like he didn't want to eat that at all, blood running out of the meat, not rendered down, not stood for a bit so was tough.....Gaz, appreciate you doing this so we can make a more informed decision but please, please complain !! Not making GR any richer for sheite food.
Can you imagine Gordon effing Ramsey’s comments and attitude if he was served that “steak frites” on his oh so critical “Kitchen nightmares” TV series? Blatant hypocrisy 😡
The knife is like that because you have passed security and are now airside at the airport. It’s to stop someone slipping it in their pocket and taking it on the plane, which would be a massive security risk.
Just shows how good a place it is, as it was empty. Never trust a skinny chef and definitely never trust an empty restaurant. I learnt years ago after visiting 3 celebrity chef’s restaurants that they are rubbish and over priced with the next customer being the most important.
Hi Gary, love your style 👌 In the menu description for the steak and frites, confit of shallots was mentioned. I didn’t see it on the plate /side dish or hear you describe this item. Could it be that you feel the same about shallots as you do about mushrooms or did the restaurant not read their menu properly ? Thank you for sharing some fabulous meals and helping us avoid the kitchen nightmares 👍
I walked past recently on the way to LA, saw the place and considered it. I didn't even bother looking at the menu and kept walking. I'm now glad I did, love your vids!
but if they put them in a separate container they can give you less fries but make it so the container is over-flowing giving you the impression that you're getting a generous portion...
It’s come to the point where I could imagine Gary having his own little segment on a tv show he’s such a loveable character he would be a British icon 😂
So nice to see someone on here actually review restaurants rather than act as an influencer! And just a nice guy to watch! So glad you're doing Scotland too. I live here but don't know enough good places to eat! Thank you :)
Thank you Gary for another sincere and very honest review. It is so good that you call out the low quality, high price ripoff places as you really do save your subscribers a lot of disappointment and money.
I tell you what, I have never eaten steak with a butter knife before. If they served you soup they would give you chopsticks. My bit of advice about steak, go to Aldis, get their Ashfield's 227 gram ribeye that costs £5.29, and save yourself the trouble. Trust me, it is really good.
I do love your videos. You're always fair and even-handed. There's way too many reviewers on here who never give bad reviews, and some that just trash-talk everything to bring in the clicks. As an aside, you ever thought of doing a "I reviewed the worst 5 takeaways on JustEat" video?
Gary, You just know before you've even ordered, what the outcome will be. I doubt Ramsay has ever been near this place. Sells his branded name to whoever runs this chain, takes their money and then has no further interest. It's the same with so many like Ramsay, it's all about the money. Great review Gary, you and your son are doing a wonderful job, and watching this channel is a joy. Cheers mate.
Found your channel a wee while back and loving your honest reviews. Been binging them as will be visiting London going via Heathrow and up to Glasgow for a visit. I live in the US now but originally from Glasgow. really thankful for this review. Will avoid his restaurant like the plague. I loved his restaurant in Glasgow which is no longer open but it was amazing. Mind you, that had to have been 20 years ago when he was at the top of his game. Ramsey has basically sold out. Thankyou for your insights into the eateries in the UK. My OH and myself have had our doubts about eating at famous chefs restaurants. We had a meal at Jamie Olivers in Gilford many years ago and loved the food but we got megre portions more suitable for children. That is the one experince we had and we have not forgotten about it
What a con. I wouldn`t go anywhere near any of his restaurants. The quality of that food was pathetic and the price was daylight robbery. Why do people keep these places in business?
Very generous, Gary, you must be in holiday mood. Disgraceful, steak should be a basic skill, chips - frozen fries - cheesecake out of a freezer , Ramsay has sold his name and has no control over the food. Roll on Ireland !
My pet hate is a steak that hasn't been rested. There's no excuse for it. I'd definitely have a Gordon Ramsay style meltdown if they served me that. The stupid knife may be due to airport regulations. Thanks for another great video. Can't wait for Ireland!
Heathrow T5 - we always walk past Ramsey and eat in Wetherspoons downstairs. Its a bit pricier than other Wetherspoons but I believe that's becuse T5 take a big cut. The other option is the Boots meal deal.
I bet Gordon wouldn't pay these airport prices. Admits, he used to send his kids cattle class along with the nanny, whilst they flew first class. Hence, no chance he would pay his own restaurant prices.
I had to fly alone on an airplane from Dallas Fort Worth to BWI when I was 11. The flight attendant that got tasked with watching me was in first class and I was in coach. She walked back the first time to check on me and was like "fuck this! Come on we're going up front!" She found an empty seat in first class and told the other attendants I got a free upgrade and they spoiled me the rest of the flight. Those flight attendants were the sweetest women I've ever met.
@@GaryEatsI know it's at an airport, but some of these big names associated with restaurants are going to see a backlash if they continue to provide poor quality, small portions and high prices. I think one of my favourite reviews of yours is the Neil Morrisey place, that looked like somewhere I'd visit.
Hi Gary, agree, i too hate to see excess juice from a steak, its unnecessary and taints other ingredients on the plate. Did you try the fish and chips at any point ?

Wife said as a retired chef it's disgusting. She can see it's not been rested and also it's been cut up in advance, allowing even more juices to come out. Costly as well.
We have it here in the Philippines -- tried their beef wellington it cost around 3,800+ or 53 pounds (converted) and for the serving its quite expensive. Is it the same over there for a beef wellington?

Gary: thanks for taking the 'hit' for the rest of us on this one. Nice to see your channel zooming toward 100k subscribers. Reckon you'll be there by end-July at this rate!
That was a shocker!!!.. The steak was overcooked, and had not been properly rested, then they chop a tomato in half, and add a touch of greenery...the frittes looked okay,...and as for the dessert , inhale too deeply and it was gone!!!.. and then they have the nerve to add a cover charge!!!!!... Definitely a case of thank you Gary for eating there, so I know NOT to!!!
Back in 2002 me and my family ate at a restaurant in Santa Monica CA, and they added $10 tip at the end ontop of the regular tip. My dad was not amused, since the swedish kr at that time was 17 kr = $1. ^^*
Don't perk up if the experience hasn't been up to scratch, showing disappointment is to be applauded. I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure that your viewers appreciate your honesty. There's others out there that give 'tens' in a cheery manner even though the food doesn't look that good. Looking forward to the Ireland reviews!
Great video as usual Gary. Gordon Ramsay is a fantastic chef, shame he doesn't check up on his restaurants from time to time though. Keep up the superb content mate.
Hi Gary, the small knife you pointed out is because you’re in an airport and they can’t leave steak knives with passengers. Hawksmoor is indeed the best chain (and the best steak alive ever had).
I totally agree with you, that steak was not rested at all. The reason why your steak didn't taste great is because all it's flavour was in a puddle on your plate. Gordon Ramsay is a great Chef, unfortunately he's delving into the world of chain restaurants which means he is losing his grip on quality control, but that's why you do what you do, to show people this!
Hi Gary, my local public golf club out here in Washington state does specials every day of the week. Monday night is steak night. A NY strip, baked potato fully loaded and salad for $10.99. I absolutely despaired for you watching that. The reason I reference our local place is the steak is consistently incredibly tender and perfectly presented and it’s not hard to do. Your experience is the reason I’ll never feel cheated at a celebrity chefs supposed elite dining experience. Keep up the great work mate, onwards and upwards.
I’ve got to say Gary, I’d be embarrassed of serving that steak. It looks grey and completely uninspiring. The plate is sparse the fries are basic, as is the tomato. You’ve basically paid for an okay gremolata sauce. Definitely not the quality one would expect from Gordon Ramsey. Keep up the good work Gary
Is it "good work" to put up with such a disgraceful meal AND PAY - without even thinking of complaining? The review is pointless, unless he demands value for money!
@@childofthe60s100I believe Gary’s true aim is to entertain and that’s exactly what he does whether the food is good or bad. And n fact it’s irrelevant what the food is like. It’s just a.bit of fun.
This is why licensing should not be allowed. At the very least there should be a disclaimer that the restaurant is only carrying the name of the famous person in question!! Also, these places should be required to tell up front before you order about the cover/service charge!!
It felt as though you were being charged for the restaurants name, as much as for the steak. £50+ for a steak ( however well prepared) and a small desert (which looked suspiciously as though it had come from a large batch made elsewhere, and stored in a big fridge) was simply too much. Excellent video as usual. You definitely ARE value for money :)

That is shocking to hear unfortunately Gordon needs to take a look at his own restaurants, not others
You should try Gary's trick and bring a cameraman in with you, guaranteed to get better service from the staff then!
I make a point of NEVER giving those airport crooks any money.

Cannot beat a bit of "council poo"
There is an old gag about a person who went into a London branch of Gordon Ramsey`s and was shocked by the prices, so he went for the cheapest item on the menu. It was boneless chicken and when it arrived, it was a fried egg.
LOL

£38 for a tiny steak not cooked correctly is bad
@@GaryEats Have you ever sent any food back?
the knife is for safety reasons if you are airside and gone through security. Somebody might trouser a sharp knife and take it on board their flight.
LOL

Go on, give it a go 🙂.
knives in airports are the same for everyone though, but yes I agree
If you don't complain the restaurant receives no feedback and can't change
I dont think they are allowed to give you a proper steak knive air side for security reasons. Other than that, you couldnt be more right.
Unfortunately you will not get a steak knife, you have passed through security that's why you get a round tipped knife with a semi blunt blade, on the extended silly rules I had my nail clippers removed from my bag by security. I was the pilot flying the aircraft.
its not blood, thats a common misconception. its myoglobin
Great video as always! My biggest shock was the mustard being served in it's retail squeezy pot. For those prices, I would expect better.
Great point and agreed Geoff
I do that at home for casual everyday dinners but for special occasions or when there's visitors I decant it into a little dish

@@AT-bq1kg Hi Gordon
Gary did you mention to the staff about the blood from the Steak and if so what was there response?
I did not say anything Ernie going forward. I may well change that policy.

best food channel on UA-cam, no fluff, no fake endorsements. just a real review. btw i STRONGLY recommend you never accept a poor quality anything... if a steak is chewy.. send it BACK. it only encourages them to keep sending crap to customers. 10 pounds for a cheesecake is a crime also. airport prices are always inflated sure, but that is still outrageous, especially considering the quality. and wtf is a cover charge, and they need to TELL YOU that
That's very kind of you to say Justin, thank you

I'm ex BA Cabin Crew, and it's the same at airports the world over, you're a captive customer base and you expect sky-high prices. I have to say though, that was shocking. That cover charge reeked of some exec thinking, how can we squeeze more cash out of our customers. Disgraceful.

Like service charge, it should be stated on the menu if there is a cover charge, otherwise it is illegal right?
In Portugal they have this thing called Couvert, which they'd bring out when you sat down. Bread, olives, pickles, butter etc. Even if you didn't ask. Then they'd charge you for it. The government put a stop to it, so it has to be on the menu and they have to ask you if you want it.

I wonder if Gordon himself would respond with his famous "F*ck Me" when presented with this dish for 38 Pounds...
Not good at all
... probably.
I find now, after watching and listening to you, I am now a mind reader and always seem to guess exactly the points you are going to dole out. Keep up the entertainment Gary. Looking forward to your reviews in Ireland.
Gary: thanks for taking the 'hit' for the rest of us on this one. Nice to see your channel zooming toward 100k subscribers. Reckon you'll be there by end-July at this rate!
Thank you and fingers crossed!!
You were right!
@@susiem.2068 He beat my prediction.
Shocking indeed Wendy, really really bad
Back in 2002 me and my family ate at a restaurant in Santa Monica CA, and they added $10 tip at the end ontop of the regular tip. My dad was not amused, since the swedish kr at that time was 17 kr = $1. ^^*
In the UK, it is not compulsory to pay tips
Don't perk up if the experience hasn't been up to scratch, showing disappointment is to be applauded. I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure that your viewers appreciate your honesty. There's others out there that give 'tens' in a cheery manner even though the food doesn't look that good. Looking forward to the Ireland reviews!
Thank you
Great video as usual Gary. Gordon Ramsay is a fantastic chef, shame he doesn't check up on his restaurants from time to time though. Keep up the superb content mate.
Agreed Jack and thank you
Gary I'm glad your exposing some of these restaurant rogues, hopefully people will stay away, Serves them right
Thank you Malcolm
Hi Gary, the small knife you pointed out is because you’re in an airport and they can’t leave steak knives with passengers. Hawksmoor is indeed the best chain (and the best steak alive ever had).
You are completely right Ross
I totally agree with you, that steak was not rested at all. The reason why your steak didn't taste great is because all it's flavour was in a puddle on your plate.
Gordon Ramsay is a great Chef, unfortunately he's delving into the world of chain restaurants which means he is losing his grip on quality control, but that's why you do what you do, to show people this!
Thank you
Hi Gary, my local public golf club out here in Washington state does specials every day of the week.
Thank you ever so much
I live in Seattle. How big is this supposed amazing NY strip for 10.99? 😂

@@pnwlion9337 bellend. Enjoy that cheap well done “steak”
Not good at all and thank you
Well said.
Mate, you've got it all wrong ........ that's exactly the crap Ramsey serves up ........
@@childofthe60s100I believe Gary’s true aim is to entertain and that’s exactly what he does whether the food is good or bad. And n fact it’s irrelevant what the food is like. It’s just a.bit of fun.
It the knife smaller because it is after security or something ?
Yes, well spotted 👌
Yes
Hi Gary i would have sent that back .Shocking .Enjoy Ireland .
Thank you Glyn 🇮🇪🇮🇪
I like that you are down, disappointed and annoyed- shows you are giving honest reviews 👍🏼
Always honest reviews 🤷♂️
My thoughts exactly.
@@GaryEats yes. this video is proof of that. Keep up the good work 👍🏼
Shocking food. Never trust a restaurant that the main attraction is the Chef's name
Agreed not good
I've watched many of your "Gary Eats" must say I love the honest feedback you give.
Thank you, much appreciated
This is why licensing should not be allowed. At the very least there should be a disclaimer that the restaurant is only carrying the name of the famous person in question!! Also, these places should be required to tell up front before you order about the cover/service charge!!
I agree with you completely on the whole comment thank you very much
It felt as though you were being charged for the restaurants name, as much as for the steak.
£50+ for a steak ( however well prepared) and a small desert (which looked suspiciously as though it had come from a large batch made elsewhere, and stored in a big fridge) was simply too much.
Excellent video as usual. You definitely ARE value for money :)
Thank you ever so much
I know that most airport restaurants are overpriced but this is next level. Hope that you and the cameraman have a great Irish trip. Have a good day everyone.
Thank you Bino
