I have the 1720 but thought I'd post here as there's not many comments I can find for the 1720. Either the Engraver or Engrave Master software is causing all kinds of grief. Some projects I have done work out ok, but there always seems to be a glitch. I would never trust this engraver to go directly to a project without testing the entire burn prior to engraving on the actual item. Even then I'm wary as I've had the engraver stop in the middle and had to re-sand to get the surface prepped again. Project loads ok into the Engrave Master software, adjust all settings as described and test size, start burning and then part way through the laser just stops. Software does not install like normal apps as it doesn't show up in the app's section of control panel. Reinstalled, but not sure if it's even reinstalling cause you can't uninstall first. I've used engravers many times before at work and this should be dead simple and the machine is making it a nightmare to work with. Not sure if it's the software or or laser that's the problem. The key is it starts to burn and then just stops....Unless this can be fixed I cannot in good faith recommend this unit to anyone or provide a positive review, since the machine is only a few months old and has probably done less than 15 small jobs.

Where can i ask for help? I assembled my laser but sadly, it doesnt move backwards in Y axis. I have no problem with moving it manually with my hands, forward and backwards - but itself it only moves in one direction like its stuck. Any ideas or maybe a place where can i ask?

My frame is not level when adding the feet at 12:42. Its about 1/8th inch off. Can I balance it out with something underneath as long as the overall unit is level? Any other suggestions?
You can put a sponge or other thin object on the foot of the machine. Please refer to the pictures on our website：bachinmaker.com/wiki/doku.php?id=bachin_d8-4050p
I had the same problem as we were setting it up yesterday. With two sets of hands pushing down hard on all the corners at the same time, we leveled it out :)

Need to test whether it is the problem of the motor or the problem of the motor driver, swap the X/Y plug on the control board to see which axis work
