This is one of the finest looking 2D games ever created. The pixel art is ludicrously detailed and the animation is smooth as butter. I can't even fathom the amount of work that went into this project.

Blasphemous is genuinely on the same level as Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Street Fighter 3 for how great the pixel art is in my opinion. Also, "Did you born yesterday?" I'm impressed there are 4 versions of the same song and each of them is unique even though it is the same in essence. Carlos Viola did such a great job!
I like how it’s like fighting the valkyries in the god of war series, where you have to memorise the attack patterns of the other valkyries in order to fight the final boss.

Awesome character design and visually stunning boss attacks for each one. The female voice acting in this DLC is great too and much improved over the female voice acting in the original installment. The music is fantastic as well.
I haven't gotten that far in the game, but they did redo the voice acting for some of the existing bosses and NPCs. I wouldn't be surprised if Crisanta was one of them.
I really really hope we get a Blasphemous 2 or another DLC, this game is too good to have this "less" content of. It looks like a spanish oil painting, the artstyle is so phenomenal
Just finished the game again because they added content after I finished it. Yeah, you're not gonna walk through this and just beat every boss in the first try, and i GUARANTEE you're taking more damage than this dude. But 10/10, insanely fun

@@RyanToolbox dead cells is a rougelike, no a metroidvania, and is more easy than Blasphemous, the comparation has no logic. Also i played dead cells and didn't like it.

I played normal mode, completed "Unwavering faith" penance in true torment mode, and currently playing "Bleeding heart" penance. I never played any games like this in my 23 years of gaming.

That explains why she looks so ugly like an old man, I dont remember what item though.

They are a DLC boss, It's safe to say Blasphemous 2 is not in it's complete state yet, and it's already better than the base game Blasphemous 1. So we can expect DLC's on the level of Stir of Dawn and WOE soon

1st one with the golden axe is the toughest among all 5, the bitch keeps spamming that homing double axe with 4 pillars of fire already on the end of the screens. In this video, she does it only after losing half of her health bar. But for me, she started spamming right from the beginning and even before I reduce her health to half the arena had already shrunken in size. It is impossible to dodge those flying axes. This fight is either broken or glitched.

We play games for fun and entertainment and not for melting our brains or smashing the keyboard or controller out of rage.

Just becuase I proposed to use different weapons in combos doesn't mean it would be broken. It would have made for a more unique boss than just replaying every one of Amanecidas over again. And how is Sekiro's final boss Dark Souls? If we are speaking of Isshin then he is as Sekiro type as it gets. Many people also find difficult games fun (including me) and not every game needs to appeal to everyone out there.

its a penitence in the new game mode that replaces the HP bar with orbs so health potions only restore one orb but it regenerates over time if you dont take damage

Do you know if its worth to upgrade the biliar flasks when playing with bleeding heart penitence?? I feel like it only heals me one orb per flask (upgraded them twice now and i dont want to sacrifice more)
Hello, not sure if you're still interested in knowing, but upgrading bile flasks with quicksilver while on bleeding heart penance upgrades the autoheal rate. Very useful if you don't like waiting around for your healthbar to refill after using a flask. Also important for when you clear bleeding heart penance because on the other penance that locks healing (the name of which slips my mind), the bleeding heart item+upgrading flasks are the only way you can heal.
