Love your videos and low key, no BS style. Bought a set of DTNVS last year (from Steele Industries). Very pleased. Also have the counterweight kit from LA - solid.
Because like every company they always want to make themselves look unique to the consumer, The dudes at licentia don't really know much about what they sell, They just know to put a tube in a pod and use a machine, All the hard work is done by the part manufacturers.
@@senator7352 the NV industry as a whole is a giant mess of snake oil and bloated margins, but now we get to add disparagement of the competition to the mix!
@@destroyerofgear Well, you only really can say you know how the technology works when you are the one developing it, some of these dudes try to talk like they created the intensifier tube, best to leave that to the people who know what they are talking about in my opinion.
I’m shocked at how many people keep their eye cup retaining rings in, you get a much better fov when you take them out because they block the outer edges of the ocular lenses.
Awesome vid! Any chance you can ask the folks over at Licentia how long of a guesstimate before those BNVD Thermal Fused units are allowed to be touched by the rest of us unwashed masses???
Think i would prefer a nvg/thermal pair in any mixed light environment. Nvgs aren't great in urban areas with a lot of ambient lighting. In rural areas nvgs are awesome.

I need that T-Shirt… where can I find one?
@KitBadger what are the specs on the “high FOM” set you got from Licentia Arms?
I LOVE THE NEW BACKGROUND PLEASE KEEP IT😮

I just got my first set of tubes last month and man has it been a blast so far!
Licentia is a fantastic company!
That counterweight is one of the most subtly ingenious things I've seen in a hot minute.
Licentia is not one of only two builders getting tubes from L3. Plenty of builders have contracts with L3. Who told you that?
Maybe he meant direct from L3Harris?

@@josephleinhauser6130 that wouldn't be true either.

Reminds me of a Klingon bird of prey when the NVGs are spread open.
Great review KB!
Good god, that's a gorgeous backdrop. I don't even care about the product anymore.
Do you prefer these over the 31a’s you reviewed about a year ago?
I saw "The Fix" by Q!!!
Does the DTNVS turn off if you look straight up while wearing them? I thought I heard they had some kind of tilt feature like that.
